Ap associating with a different WLC through DNS

Hello Guys,
I have some 5 ap in the network, since 2 days I have got into a issue, all the access points have registered with a different WLC which is in our main office instead of getting registered with the local WLC, need help on this issue. It does a DNS resolution and gets connected to the central WLC, but the same setup is running up in multiple locations.

It is best to configure the primary and secondary WLC in the high availability. This way if something happens and the ap joins the wrong WLC, it will move back. This is the issue if you keep option 43 enabled and or DNS resolution. If you want to make sure that AP's at a local site stays on that WLC, block udp 12222 & 12223 from crossing the wan. This way the AP's will not join the WLC at HQ. makes sense?

IMessage issues on contacts associated with two different mobile numbers

Hello together,
currently i am facing the following issue:
I have a contact "Max Mustermann" associated with to different mobile numbers. Number 1 is a number belonging to his business mobile phone which is an iPhone. Number 2 belongs to his private Android device.
Since I updated to iOS 7.0.2 my iPhones sends every message (new message, answers) to the iPhone, regadless if he sends me a text message from his Android device. During my throubleshooting I tried to delete his business number from contacts, deleted every mail adress associated with his contact, recreate the contact with the same name and just the private number. As for now I completely deleted his contact on my iPhone and tried to send the text message directly to the mobile number of his Android device. But still the same: Message is send as iMessage to his business mobile phone...
Anybody faced this issue before and can me help with his?

I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

Music gone missing? Device associated with a different account

HI
All my recent purchased have dissappeared from my iPhone.
I can seem them in Icloud but they wont download onto my phone, They were there yesterday and they were all purchased directly onto the phone. It says my device is associated with a different i tunes account and cannot be changed for 40 days.
How do I get my music back?

If you enable iTunes Match, Automatic Downloads or download previous purchases on your phone it becomes associated with the ID you are using at the time and cannot be associated with a different ID for 90 days. You must have done one of these three things while using a different ID 50 days ago if you're getting that message. If you think you're getting this warning in error, you'll have to contact iTunes store support to see if they can help: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.
All you can do is wait the 40 days, then switch if you want to download these purchases from iCloud. In the meantime, if these purchases are in your iTunes library or are on a different device you can transfer them to your iTunes library and sync them to your phone.

ITunes won't let me download to my computer saying it is associated with a different Apple ID but it is not. Any ideas?

I have recently purchased a tv series off iTunes and for some reason my iMac won't let me download it to my computer. It aways comes up with the error message
'You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. You cannot associate this computer with a different Apple ID for 17 days'
The only problem is I haven't changed my Apple ID on the computer and I purchased the items with my Apple ID that is associated with this computer. I had changed my password recently so I was wondering if this could cause the problem? Has anyone else experienced this and do you have any ideas on how to fix it?

HT204161 email associated with two different Apple IDs keeps me from logging in

It seems I have two different apple id accounts both associated with the same recovery email address. As I enter to “Manage My Apple ID” it tells me I need to verify my email address.
Specifically, it says “A verification email was previously sent to [email protected] We can resend the verification email to the same address, or if this address is incorrect you can change your Apple ID and email address.”
I hit the “Send Verification Email” button, but it tells me
“Email address is already verified for another Apple ID.” and I’m stuck, because I’m not sure what that other Apple ID that is associated with that email address is. Can anyone help me out?

I've tried everything..unplugging and re-setting the Apple TV, restoring to factory settings and starting over...nothing seems to work. I'm not sure why the software upgrade would have affected it, but that's what triggered this problem. It doesn't seem right that if it's accessible on my computer and it's all music purchased by me, that it's not all accessible on my Apple TV!

This type of config is no problem. What the server is doing is virtual web hosting. The server would have two different web services running for the same IP, but each listening for a unique host header.
From an IP point of view both connections would be destined to the rserver address on port 80, but in the http header they would have two different Host headers.
one for www.example1.com and the second for www.example2.com. If the web server is configured correct so each host name is tied to one web service it will not have any issues.
The config you attached looks ok. The way you have the sticky group is ok doing source IP. If you use cookies for the sticky group I would suggest you create two sticky groups each with a different cookie name and add the same serverfarm to both groups. The client will only send a cookie for the domain it received it from so using the same cookie in two vips could cause problems if the same client hits both vips.

Library file must be associated with a different user

I am trying to upgrade my apps. When I go into the store, it prompts me for my username and password. It's defaulting to a different user - why?? When I enter my Apple ID / password, I receive the following error message:
This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled.
Looking for help on how to fix it.

Ipad associated with a different computer

I just got a different computer at the school where I work, so I moved my Ipad association from my old computer to the new. My itunes used to be associated with my personal Apple ID so I have changed it to my school Apple ID. I understand I will not be able to transfer music purchased with a different Apple ID. My question is this - I had backed up all my classroom CDs and added them to itunes. I was hoping I could move those things from my ipad to this new computer since they were not actuallypurchases. However, I do not seem to be able to do this. Should this be possible, or do I have to start over again backing up all of these cds? The cd backup is still on my ipad, but I can't move them to the computer.

Ssi files have somehow become associated with a different site

I have a site where I use two ssi files for a menu and for a sidebar. Somehow I have managed to associate these two files with a different site, so that the includes don't show up in design view and live view.
When I hover over the includes in the Related files bar, it shows the path to a different site, where these files don't exist.
When I click on them in the Related files bar, I get the yellow bar, saying "'menu.html' is not on the local disk."
When I click on "Get", I get the message "menu.html is contained in multiple sites. Please open the site you wish to work on and select this menu item again:"
I have tried deleting the site cache as well as the .dws file for the site, but to no avail. I suspect that the problem is inside the .dws file, but it's not possible to edit it.
I should add that everything works on the server, it's a local problem. It doesn't prevent me from working on the site, but it's pretty annoying. I'm using DW CS5.5, Win 7.

I have now tried the following things
Overwriting the .dws file with the one from my laptop
Deleting the WinFileCache
Deleting the site (via Manage Sites) and recreating it
Done a sitewide search in source code for references to the other site (nothing found)
The reference to the other site is still there.
So I wonder if there's any other file that DW creates that can hold this reference?

Can't access pre-existing Behance portfolio because it's associated with a different email address than my Adobe ID

I have a Behance profile of long-standing as ChrisARaymond, and multiple projects, all connected to a gmail address. Now I cannot access it because my Adobe ID is connected to a different email address. I get an endless loop as Behance refuses to let me sign in with my old credentials, and when I sign in via AdobeID, my profile and projects are empty.
Did your programmers think through what you were doing before you implemented this? It's beyond ridiculous.

This is simply and utterly one of the most inconsiderate of all Adobe takeovers. Did you not think artists that use Adobe products might have accounts already with Behance? You have screwed us. Not only that, there is NO way to talk to anyone about how to fix this. I do NOT see anything in this forum on how to fix, why? Big corporate decisions and more money. You suck Adobe.

Software Update reports bundled apps cannot be updated because they are associated with a different Apple ID

New MacBook Pro 15" Retina arrived today.
Software Update reports that updates are available for iPhoto and iMovie, bundled with purchase.
However, when UPDATE is selected, the error message
"You have updates available for other accounts.
To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it."
I am the initial user and have no other account.

Any chance you had a different Apple ID with an earlier Mac and then it got migrated to your new MBP?
When you registered new MBP did you use the same Apple ID?

I purchased an album on iTunes and all songs downloaded, but one song is not associated with my Apple ID (I can't play it).

I bought an album from iTunes. All of the songs play except one. When I double click on it, a message comes up saying this computer is not authorized to play it, asking me if I want to authorize the computer. Yet when I log in with my ID, the response is that the computer is already authorized. Then it skips to the next song. I have updated iTunes through software update and am using 11.0.4 (4). I have tried to reboot the computer but the situation stays the same.
I also deleted the file from iTunes to try re-downloading it. The song appears in my list of purchased songs, but when I try to download it again, I get an error message that says "This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. If you download past purchases with your Apple ID, you cannot auto download or download past purchases with a different Apple ID for 90 days." My options at this point are a "Transfer" button or a "Cancel" button. Transfer what? What is it talking about?? I purchased and downloaded the complete album at once, obviously with the same Apple ID---the ONLY Apple ID I have ever had and the ONLY Apple ID ever used on this computer! How is one song mysteriously associated with a different account? What is the point of purchasing music legally if it doesn't work? Can anyone help me get this song to play in iTunes? The other strange thing is that it plays just fine in finder.

If only one track on the album is throwing that message, that suggests the track is damaged.
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

How to determine which site collection is associated with which db?

I have a site collection that contains a number of other site collections. I've created a content DB in a new SQL instance, and, within another site collection, specified that DB is associated with a new site collection, eg:

Site collection within site collection doesn't exist. you may have different site collection on a WebApplication.
you can check what is the Database associated with a site collection through powershell
$site = get-spsite <URL of your site collection>
$site.ContentDatabase
