AP invocie with Barcode

Frnds
as there is a Barcode functionalities while posting AP invocies.
and we are using this functionalitites to post invocie.
so when we go to FB60 and post the invoice, and once we will save it, it will pop up window asking for the barcode no. basically this barcode is form the vendor invoice. But it will allow us to save the invoice without Barcode no also.
so i just want to pull out the report which contains invoices without Barcode entries.
Is there anyway we can do it?
please let me know

Thanks Scott that makes sense.
I had been under the impression that the majority of the APs config was volatile and that the secondary controller would need to know what AP and FlexConnect groups it should belong to.
I have since found some files in flash:/configs on the AP that appear to have some H-REAP configuration details, so it seems that the AP does know what AP and FlexConnect Groups it should be a part of.  But it's up to me to ensure the controllers are configured appropriately with those groups for when a failover occurs.

I converted a PDF to a Word Document with barcodes #39 on them.  The barcodes didn't convert?  Any ideas???

    Hey,
There might be a quality-specific issue as the conversion of PDF file comprising of barcode depends upon the quality of the document as well.
The better is the quality, more accurate can the file get converted to Word.

I want to use a form with barcodes created from another text field.
The forms are created with acrobat professional  and work fine with acrobat pro.

On my iPad the barcodes  won't  even change at all.
Is there a way to update the barcode using Adobe reader iOS?

    Thx.

Currently, Adobe Reader for iOS does not support barcodes.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
For general Forms questions regarding Acrobat Pro and Adobe Reader (desktop applications), I'd recommend posting questions to the PDF Forms forum for further assistance.  Thank you.

  • Working with Barcode

I am working with barcode 3 to 9 TTFont (Used by Report Builder). Using this Font it creates barcodes but Barcode Reader does not read it. Barcode Reader is OK.

    Hi Muhammad
When you run this report to Preview, the barcode font looks fine? If you are using Adobe Acrobat Reader, one issue which was reported was that Adobe Acrobat Reader versions 4.05 or 4.05b had some issue showing barcode fonts. You need to download 4.05c from www.adobe.com and use this version when using barcode fonts.

  • UCC 128 labels with barcodes - from SAP directly onto Zebra

Hi - I am trying to find a solution that would help our business print ucc 128 labels with barcodes directly from SAP onto Zebra printers. Till now, I had our basis team configure the printer and I ran a sample print program using SAPScript. The sample text data that the program had did print onto the label. What I am not sure about is the barcodes.
How to print a complete 4 (Width) X 6 (Height) label on a Zebra printer with barcodes.
    Thanks

    Hi Nikhil,
Could you please let us know the solution you have found. It would be helpful... Are there any best practices for using UCC 128 labels?

  • Throttle Service Invocations with configurable qualities-of-service.

    Hello All,
We are in the process of designing a system integrating 7 applications using BPEL as the integration Layer.
Some of the services we use are Third Party Services and have varying Qualities-of-service. As events occur in each system, BPEL orchestrates the service invocations to propagate the events/data to other systems.
Is there any way to throttle Service Invocations with configurable qualities-of-service? We do not want all Services to be invoked as soon as the events occur, as it may overload Services beyond their SLAs. We would want to throttle the Service Invocations per system or ideally per service.
    Thanks,
    Neil.

It is possible using the dspMaxThreads and dspInvokeAllocFactor parameters. There is a good description of hoe to implement this in the best practice guide
look in the section BPEL FAQ -> Threading

OSB also has some functionality in this area.

  • Assigning Barcode to any data so it could be reckognize with barcode reader

    Hi all,
Although I am a SolMan consultant, the fallowing task is assigned to me recently:
We have borrowed a Symbol handheld Barcode device, and I have connected it to SAP ECC, and generated needed screens so LM01 and other mobile transactions can be used.
Now, I am asked to create a basic, simple example of how the device can be used (from start to an end).
I fail to understand what is the concept of optimal usage of this device:
At first I thought: OK,  the goods is arriving to a WH, then I scan the material barcode, enter the amount, so the system automatically update the status in stock.
I have searched www and forums as well as sap help and I read that "SAP reads bar codes for identification and verification. The items that can be identified include Storage bin, Material, Quantity, Delivery, Staging area, Shipment, Pick wave, Handling unit, Storage Unit. It is possible to scan items for verification purposes and these fields includes Storage unit, Material, Quantity, Storage bin, Other fields determined in a user exit"
    Nicey!
The one milion dolar (or at list 10 point ) question is:
How do I generate a barcode for specific entry (one of mantioned)?
How do I link this barcode to this specific entry?
All I could find was a EAN field for material in MM01, and first I entered a (mineral water) barcode for testing purpose there, and then tried to read the barcode in LM01 with Goods Receipt > GR by others > Material.
Didn't work. Got message "Material 000000xxxxxxxxx does not exist".
Then I created a Delivery for that material, and again executet LM01 > Goods Receipt > GR by Delivery  - I get a "Delivery" filed. So now I can enter a delivery number and it is OK, but I am under strong impresion that delivery barcode should be used here, and not a manualy entered delivery number.
So - how can I link a delivery with certain barcode?
Is there a special transaction like "VB11" (I entered a test mineral water barcode as a "MatEntered", assigned to my test material "353" and again, I got the same "Material 000000xxxxxxxxx does not exist" message again.
Excuse me for such a basic questions, but look at the bright side: it will be lot easier to answer
    Thank you in advance,
    Nenad
P.s. - is there any good documentation covering this filed with some useful info of HOW to do it, not WHAT CAN BE DONE?

    Hi Arakish,
    Thank you for your reply.
This all makes sense for the internal numbers, but what about external barcode numbers?
For example, the same "mineral water" I tried to read - can I:
    - name the material "Mineral Water xx"
    - assign an external, manufacturer barcode number to it,
    - read that barcode,
    - the Mineral Water would be recognized as material?
I suppose I can. But how? I want the material to be named "mineral water xx", and not 8605002300xx?
So let's summarize (for the future colleagues-in-need):
Every internal number we want to enter with barcode should be used in original form - weather SAP generates it (Delivery, HU, SU...) or we named it ourselves (Material, Quantity...). No special Barcode number is needed to be assigned.
But first, we need to generate that specific number/data in Barcode format (example: Delivery), so we are able to read the very same number into pre-designated field (example: in Tx LM06) using a BC reader.
There is a (costy) plug in for Microsoft Excel that can transform a text to barcode. One should search the net for "barcode with Microsoft excel". However, there are other (commercial) software that can convert characters to barcode. SAP can do it via Smart Forms and SAPscript.
    Thanks once again,
    Cheers,
    N

  • "Communicate" with Barcode Reader

the Barcode Reader has Windows CE / Mobile in it
our client wants to use this so it can load Ordered Items by scanning its barcode
i'm wondering how this tools can "communicate" with B1
anyone ever do something like this before?

    Hi Erick,
i was working before with barcode readers.
our customers always used barcode readers that place the itemcode direct after scanning.
it is nothing special - you configure the barcode reader that
    1. he sends the itemcode to windows (the text will be placed to the item that has the focus)
    2. and he sends "tab" after sending the itemcode
    thats it.

  • Printing Prd Ord with Barcode

    Hi,
Does SAP provide a standard way to print the production order with barcode for the shop floor control or a development is required?Could you please give me the details in either case.
    Regards,
    Sachin

    dear friend,
you probably are able to create labels using an external design program and to print them from within a sapscript form.
and you need a special printer of course...
    what are the activities?
    i assume:
    *Create the label using a design program: Define the entire layout of the label, including the fields you later want to fill from within the R/3 system;
    *Download the print file: Export the data using the printer commands of the design program. The printer commands must be in ASCII format, that is, you can use only printable characters plus carriage return, line feed, and, maybe, form feed. In addition, the file must not comprise more than 80 characters per line; otherwise unwanted line feeds may occur during upload. There must be no binary control characters (for example, escape);
    *Upload the print file into the SAPscript form: Upload the print file into a SAPscript standard text. However, you use this standard text as "intermediate storage" only. Then copy the text into a SAPscript form. In the form, enter variables of the print program (program symbols) in those places where you want variable data to appear in the label. At runtime, the system fills these variables with the current field values from the application program;
*Adapt the form: For most label printers you must adapt the form; for example, you must enlarge the MAIN window to maximum page size and delete all other windows. In addition, the MAIN window should contain only one single text element: the imported print file.
*Create an output device: Define an output device for label printing. As device type use either ASCIIPRI or one of the special device types for label printers.
    good luck

    If I interpret the JSR14 public draft spec (June 23, 2003) section 5.6 correctly the following method invocations with explicit type parameters should compile: package generics;

    location: class java.util.Collections

    ^
1 errorYou don't need the explicit type argument there, but anyway...
If you look at the docs for Collections.sort(List<T> list) you'll see it is declared as:
static <T extends Comparable<? super T>> void Collections.sort(List<T> list) Unfortunately, although File implements Comparable, it doesn't actually implement Comparable<File> or even Comparable<Object>, so I guess it can't satisfy the bound.
You can get it to compile by removing the explicit type argument and casting to the raw type List, but that's not very nice.
This seems like an oversight to me - File already has both int compareTo(Object o) and int compareTo(File pathname) so I don't see why it can't implement Comparable<File>. This isn't the only such case in the API though, so maybe I'm missing something.

  • GR for PO from Vendors with Barcodes

    Hello Experts,
We want to make sure we scan some document for GRs against PO and place them in our
warehouse. Can we ask vendors to use the barcodes that are supported by SAP,so that we can scan them when we receive them.
What are possibilities of doing this.Do the vendors need to buy any software to make sure that they are using barcodes supported by SAP.
Does the barcode contain the purchase order info or the material quantity? Could you provide some information to deal with issue.
    Thanks in advance

    Dear Friend
I will say yes it will be possible to read and PO related information from the Barcode and input to SAP ......
To put it clear: you  have to read, for example, a barcode that holds the PO information using a barcode scanner and this number should be sent to MIGO.
You might have to reengineer processes at your end and/or at your Business partner (s) end to get Barcode in unique way (more than one vendor ...all of them have to print batcode using logic in which you want).
You might have to consider various available options while scanning barcode and sendig information (automatically) to SAP or consider Interfaces, Hand held devices etc to do GR

  • Problem with barcode print in Adobe From

    Hello All,
We are using Adobe Forms to print our shipping labels and this as been working well for few years now. These labels include readable text and barcodes. The barcodes are 1-D but recently we now have a need to print 2-D barcodes.
We are able to print PDF-417 as a 2-D barcode on the form, but when we try to print Datamatrix barcode, the barcode does not show and instead we just see the text which should have been encoded as 2-D barcode.
We analyze the spool output file on the server to check the correct print controls are being sent to label printer. Our printer is a Zebra S4M using ZPLII. We send test form to our printer which will print two barcodes only (both 2-D), one is PDF-417 the other is Datamatrix. The spool output when viewed in Wordpad, is as below:
    ^XA
    PRALH0,3
    ^XZ
    CI13XA
    ^LL1219
    ^FO127,102
    ^BY3,,203
    ^B7N,,5,,,N
    FHFD1234567890
    ^FS
    ^FO127,356
    FHFD1234567890
    ^FS
    ^XZ
The ^B7 print control is the  barcode PDF-417 control code. The Datamatrix control code ^BX is missing and should appear where there is an empty line. If we edit the spool output file and add the missing control code sequence, and then reprint the spool from SAP, then the Datamatrix 2-D barcode prints correctly.
So for some reason, the .zpl spool output file is not being generated with the ^BX control code sequence for the datamatrix barcode. We cannot find any information on why this is so.
We are running ECC6 SP11 (single stack) and ADS is running on a separate dual-stack BI system (NW2004s SP21).
Our Zebra S4M printer firmware is V53.17.6Z, and printer driver is ZebraDesigner 2.6.42 (Build 2382). Our SAP device type which is assigned is AZPL203. Our ADS version is 7.00.21.0.
We are seeing the same problem if we print test label from ECC or BI system. ECC kernel is 700 patch 266. BI kernel is 700 patch 254.
We have found SAP Notes related to incorrect ZPL format in ^BX for NW7.1 and NW7.1 EhP1, but not for NW7.0.
Has anyone else come across a problem like this before? Any advice would be much appreciated and duly rewarded.
    Thanks in advance
    George

    Issue is resolved.
We updated our ADS to 7.11.5.0

  • Problem with barcode generation

    Hi,
I'm trying to generate barcode in pdf by passing the xml and xsl files to a function which uses transformer etc to convert it into a pdf. In the final stage of the generation, where it calls the transform(src, res) method it's showing the following error message
    DOM ERROR! class: weblogic.apache.xalan.stree.DocumentFragmentImpl
    java.lang.RuntimeException: Function not supported!
    at weblogic.apache.xml.utils.UnImplNode.error(UnImplNode.java:94)
    at weblogic.apache.xml.utils.UnImplNode.item(UnImplNode.java:242)
    at org.krysalis.barcode4j.xalan.BarcodeExt.generate(BarcodeExt.java:52)
The problem is with the generate method in BarCodeExt.java which is being called from the xslt file for barcode creation.Intially this generate method was getting overridden by the weblogic.apache.xalan.stree.DocumentFragmentImpl.generate method and it was showing Nosuchmethod error.
After loading the Barcode4j.jar before weblogic.jar in classpath it's showing the above error message.
Could any one throw some light? It'll be of great help to me as this is urgent.
The xslt call is like this
    xmlns:barcode="org.krysalis.barcode4j.xalan.BarcodeExt"
    <xsl:copy-of select="barcode:generate($barcode-cfg, $brcodecal)"/>
And can anyone tell me how to call a batch file with parameters in a particular directory from a java file?

    Hi SolMan Usr,
Did you manage to get this solved ? If so, can you please list the underlying reasons please.
    Regards,
    Srini
