AP : Invoice Payment
Hello All,
I have got a doubt while posting Payments for Batches if i have Zero Payments then my Document Number should also be Zero. Is it possible to set the document number to 'Zero' if the Payment Amount is 'Zero'.
Plz Help me.

Not possible as per my understanding. This is based on your documents setup in Suppliers and Bank information where in we can't use the document number 'Zero'.

It is not possible to see, but there is a way. You need to check in ECC in FBL1N for this invoice for the invoice payment. and if you are confirm that no further invoice you need to tick final invoice posted in PO.
With this tick you can confirm the status of the payment.

Invoice Payment status in SRM Browser
Dear SRMers,
System Information: SRM 4.0, R/3 4.6 c
We have a situation where users want to see the invoice payment status in the SRM browser. We have not implemented the Invoice module in SRM and invoices are posted and updated in R/3.
Please suggest what is the best way to accomplish displaying the invoice payment status in SRM browser preferrably in the shopping cart header or in the follow on documents area with less custom work ? Any ideas are welcome.

As explained in one of my previous thread,running the report "BBP_IV_UPDATE_PAYMENT_STATUS" does not update the status in SRM .So for this there will be a lot of std modifictaions required to update the status in the SRM browser(SC history/follow on docs) i.e. ITS template as well as the std includes.

Invoice Payment Block (RBKP-ZLSPR / BSEG-ZLSPR) Update
Hi ABAP Gurus,
Good day.
Basically, I need to update Invoice Payment Block from "W" to "R". I have tried BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CHANGE but could not change the Payment from "W" to "R". I believe that this is part of the said FM's restriction. As per documentation, "it is not possible to change invoice documents flagged for invoice verification in background using this method". Payment Block "W" is basically Invoice Verification via Workflow.
On the other hand, I have also tried to use FM FI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE without any success. I keep on getting no document found. I have played around with the parameters being passed but without any luck.
Can you kindly provide a solution for this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Invoice payment due date.
Dear all,
I would like to display the invoice payment due date in my SAPscript. I've heard about the FI_TERMS_OF_PAYMENT_PROPOSE function module and thought that it could feet my need. But I'm wondering if there is no other way to proceed since I can't find documentation on the above function module. Also I'm surprise to do not find in standard among the structured tables the invoice payment due date data.

Invoice payment made but document not displaying
HI gurus ,
I have made an invoice payment but the document is not displaying in FB03. How could I know if the posting went through properly or not?

in F110 ( payment run ) you can find a icon Payment ( that one that looks like a paper scheet ). This is payment log and here you can also find which documents were posted by payment and also by which open postings positions. This requires by payment run addtional log check box and vendor/customer number.
TIP 2]
In FB03 you can find also by using dynamic selection and selection option Transaction with value "F110" than a list of documents posted in F110 will popup. With another dynamic seletion option it will be more accurately.
TIP 3]
Use FBL1N with specific select option to see cleared items to specific date. By generated list of line items you can find your invoice and clearing document as wrote Nitin abov.

A/R invoice+payment and A/R invoice PLD reports
We are using PLD to generate our reports. Our A/R Invoice+payment report is different from our AR invoice. We have designed to report formats for this in PLD. However, PLD allows to preview only one report that has been made default. Is there an option that we can use to select the type of report to print especially for these reports?

I don't think there is any alternative way beside selecting PLD everytime you print the layout .
I believe it is done by same person (both A/R+ payment and A/R invoice )
If not you can do :
1. make your PLD default by user or
2. In most cases ,only few customer pays right away , you can set PLD default by Business partner or customer who does that

Query for report to show Invoices, Payments and Discounts

I am hoping someone can help me with this query.
What the customer needs is the invoices for a specific date range, the payments applied to the invoices and the discount amount
Eg...
Invoice payment discount
100 90 10
This would be easy to get from the ORCT and RCT2 tables.
However, sometime the users add the payment on account and reconciles the invoices and a manual journal for the discounts.
So it would be best to look at the OITR and ITR1 tables?
This is what I have so far and it almost balances...
I am using this query to create the report in crystal,
To create the discount amount from the incoming payment window i said (T0.ReconSum - T3.TrsfrSum)
I also took out the vat amount within that formula.
With the amounts from the manual journal, i just took the amount as is.

Based on the example the Payment + discount = Invoices
however not all the customers are balancing..
any ideas? it looks like my query is getting only the invoices where a payment has been done. The amounts just dont seem to match.

A/R Invoice+payment error

when i go to create a a/r invoice + payment for one time customers, I get an error message which says default business partners for invoivce and payment not defined message 439-39. I know we have to do initial settings. I created a default customer wth code c9999. Apart from this, what other settings do I have to do?Hi,
You need to define the default Custmer code at the Sales Tab in the Administration > Setup > Financials > G/L Determination window.
Following information from Online Help (F1) will be useful :
Default Customer for A/R Invoice + Payment If you perform one-time sales (that is, the payment is made at the same time that the A/R invoice is generated), enter the code of the one-time customer, to which you will generate the A/R invoice + payment document whenever a one-time sale is made.

GR Reversal allowed inspite of Invoice Payment
Hello,
We have GR reversal allowed inspite of Invoice Payment being carried out. The GR Revresal flag for Mvt type 102 is not set.
However this particluar example does not have the GR based IV flag set in the PO.
I am assumig this is the reason for the reversal to be allowed. Since the IV which is getting generated is based of the PO and not the GR inspite of a Goods receipt present in the system , as the GR based IV indicator is not set.
Could there be any other reason for this ?

As I understood.. since you are doing PO based IV... you can do GR reversal still Invoice exists in system.

AP - updating unpaid invoices payment priority

Any one have suggested script which to use to update unpaid invoices payment priority code on ap_invoices_all table.
there is ap_invoices_pkg.update_row api but do not have adequate information on this api to make this script.
Will appreciate anyone who has done similar or another column update to unpaid invoices using this api to provide guidance.

Pardon me if anyone has posted on this. I have tried searching the forum and found nothing. If this has been posted, please lead me to the right thread.
Anyway, I have a client with a problem with their AR Invoice + Payment. Normally, we will need to complete full payment before we can add the AR Invoice + Payment. Otherwise, we will not be able to add the invoice into the system.
However, in the case of my client, they are able to add the AR Invoice even without making payment. They have been complaining to me several times.
Is there any settings I am missing or is there any solution to this problem? Thanks.

The only setting needed for AR Invoice + Payment is that the BP Code is defined in the G\L Determination.
You are mentioning that when you click on the AR Invoice + Payment, then the document window opens with a default BP Code, and then when you add the document, it does not ask for payment to be created.
If the above case :
1) Check for the additonal code in the SP_transactionNotification, any FMS etc
2) Test the same by upgrading the copy of the database in Test Enviorment to the Latest Patch.

AR Invoice + Payment won't allow negative
When using AR Invoice + Payment the screen calls Payment Means (moneybag) when you save the Invoice. The Payment Means window is only configured for Incoming Payments, and rejects a negative (ie Outgoing) value.
Some user companies have POS software that posts transactions to B1 from tills in a shop.
When a customers buys an item for, say, £19.25 using a £20 Gift Voucher, and expects £0.75 change, the POS software attempts to post the transaction to B1 and generates an error - causing the whole batch posting to fail.
To make this work requires replicating the transaction manually using a vanilla AR Invoice for the item at £19.25 and qty -1 of Gift Voucher at £20 to generate an AR Invoice with a net value of £-0.75. Then you can do a customer Outgoing Payment of £0.75 to reconcile.
Can the Payment Means offered in AR Invoice + Payment be enhanced to include Outgoing (-ve) too, and the functionality be incorporated to accept such transactions from POS software?

Problems Printing AR Downpayment Invoice + Payment
Hi Experts,
I have searched high and low in the forum but I have not been able to find a solution to my problem.
Currently, what I have done is that I have created a print layout with Crystal Report for my AR Downpayment Invoice and have set this to the default layout.
I have also created a print layout with Crystal Report for Incoming Payment and have also set this to be the default layout.
Now, when I click on the print button, I am presented with 3 options:-
Invoice Only
Invoice and Payment In Succession
A/R Invoice + Payment
Now, when I select A/R Invoice + Payment, and click OK, the system only prints the invoice and does not print the payment document.
However, if I set the A/R Downpayment with a PLD print out as default, the prints both the Invoice and the Payment document which I have defaulted in the Incoming Payment document.
Am I doing something wrong here or does SAP not support the print out of 2 Crystal Report layouts?

I went to printing sequence to check. From Invoice + Payment, the sequence does not allow me to select print layouts from anything other than AR Invoices, Deliveries, Sales Orders and Sales Quotations. Hence, there is still no way I can access my payment print layout which is in the Incoming Payment module.
Printing the document directly from Incoming Payment screen is not an option as my client needs to forbid the access to the incoming payment screen for this particular group of users.

Invoice plan unable you to spared payment for a PO line according to your needs.
For example: if you buy a machine you need to pay X amount on the contract signing, Y amount on the blueprints, the Z on delivery. When you use invoice plan you don't have to separate the lines in the PO as service lines or any other way and the Material price will be updated correctly
This means that the IV is not based on the GR and that the Goods receipt is non-valuated. (you need to set these indicators in the PO)
The valuation of the purchase order item will then take place at the time of invoice verification.
Settings in customizing are under:
Materials Management-> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Invoicing Plan
About the printing, I think that the standard PO print them but I'm not sure.

We are in the midst of a 12.1.1 implementation and we have encountered a significant problem with Oracle eTax module.
Are there others that are encountered problems we are faced with?
1. Currently eTax information is not displayed on any existing requisitions, purchase order, receiving, invoice, payment, reports or forms.
2. eTax distinct tax accounts are not being applied to every transaction
3. eTax has rounding errors, when processing small amounts having multiple distirbutions.
4. eTax information is only generated on purchasing document, after accessing the Tools bar and selecting, 'Manage Tax'. If you don't do this step no taxes are applied.
This is just a fluke or am I in the same boat as everyone else?
