Dear Sir,
I am working on ap invoices interface , i am giving AWT_GROUP_NAME tax but it get With-Held-Tax from suppliers tax detail AND Supplier Sites site.
I also try to Allow Withholding Tax uncheck on supplier
but it didnot display tax from ap_invoice_liness_interface.AWT_GROUP_NAME on ap invoice lines .
Please guide me.

Check if this group name is in the table
SELECT group_id

WHERE name = p_awt_group_name;
Besides, check your Include Tax Amt' in system option.

How to display system time zone like UTC+8

Hi All,
I got a requirement where I need to display time zone in the output. If I take sy-zonlo it is taking user's time zone and giving output like CET or CST but I want the system time zone to be displayed like UTC+8.

my problem is when I try to display the data ( which is amharic unicode character ) on jTable and jLabel as shown it displays '???'
besides I have checked the font by giving unicode like '\u1200' on both component displays it well
so is there something to do before trying to display unicode characters from resultSet

Giving error while creating a sales contact for the previous year (2008)

Hi Friends,
We are currently with SP12. When we try to create a sales contract for the previous year it is giving error like "Schedule line is for the item 100 cannot be after the order's latest delivery date".
i tried debugging and found that that there is a rule created for this (in SP12). I commented the rule and tried to create a contract but, again got an error "Error while saving". This error I can't catch while debugging.
I even didn't find where the schedule line date and header cancel dates are set so that I can change the dates manually.
If any one has any idea, kindly help me.

Giving Error while generating the Data mart to Infocube.

Hi Gurus,
I need to extract the APO infocube data in to the BW infocube. For that iam trying to generate the data mart to APO infocube .
So, that i can use that data mart as a data source to extract that APO Infocube data in to BW infocube.
In that process iam trying to generate the datamart for APO Infocube . But while generating it is giving errors like below:
Creation of InfoSource 8ZEXTFCST for target system BW 1.2 failed
The InfoCube cannot be used as a data mart for a BW 1.2 target system.
Failed to create InfoSource &v1& for target system BW 1.2.
PLease suggest me what to do for this Error problem.

Not able to Start Hyper-V(2012 R2) VM when placing the VM config file on Samba Share,Its giving error:Unable to initialize the saveset

---We are trying to setup Hyper-V on Samba shares samba version 3.6 exported from Ubuntu M/c. Basically runnig the Public(share) from the Ubuntu and able to access it from Windows 2012 (create/modify everything). I used Hyper-V and placed the disks

Query Saving takes long time and giving error

Hi Gurus,
I am creating one query that have lot of calculations (CKF & RKF).
When I am trying to save this query it is taking long time and it is giving error like RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE, Query Designer must be restarted, further work not possible.

There are no authorizations to change roles. Consequently, the system displays no roles when you save workbooks in the BEx Analyzer. In the BEx browser, you cannot move or change workbooks, documents, folders and so on.

Solution
Assign authorization for roles
To assign authorizations for a role, execute the following steps:
1. Start Transaction Role maintenance (PFCG)
2. Select a role
3. Choose the "Change" switch
4. Choose tab title "Authorizations"
5. Choose the "Change authorization data" switch
6. Choose "+ Manually" switch
7. Enter "S_USER_AGR" as "Authorization object"
8. Expand "Basis: Administration"/"Authorization: Role check""
9. From "Activity" select "Create or generate" and others like "Display" or "Change"
10. Under "Role Name", enter all roles that are supposed to be shown or changed. Enter "*" for all roles.
11. You can re-enter authorization object "S_USER_AGR" for other activities.
Assign authorization for transactions
If a user is granted the authorization for changing a role, he/she should also be granted the authorization for all transactions contained in the role. Add these transaction codes to authorization object S_USER_TCD.
1. Start the role maintenance transaction (PFCG).
2. Select a role.
3. Click on "Change".
4. Choose the "Authorizations" tab.
5. Click on "Change authorization data".
6. Click on "+ manually".
7. Specify "S_USER_TCD" as "Authorization object".
8. Expand "Basis - Administration"/"Authorizations: Transactions in Roles".
9. Under "Transaction", choose at least "RRMX" (for BW reports), "SAP_BW_TEMPLATE" (for BW Web Templates), "SAP_BW_QUERY" (for BW Queries and/or "SAP_BW_CRYSTAL" (for Crystal reports) or "*". Values with "SAP_BW_..." are not transactions, they are special node types (see transaction code NODE_TYPE_DEFINITION).
Using the SAP System Trace (Transaction ST01), you can identify the transaction that causes NOT_AUTHORIZED.
Prevent user assignment
Having the authorization for changing roles, the user is not only able to change the menu but also to assign users. If you want to prevent the latter, the user must loose the authorization for Transactions User Maintenance (SU01) and Role maintenance (PFCG).

Is it possible to use a IN LIKE ('%TAN%','%POL%','%MAR%')

As stated above, I know the exact statement as above does not work, but is there any kind of syntax where you can use LIKE in your IN clause?
I know I could possibly work around this by giving individually LIKE statements, but there are 30 strings and I was trying to shorten the SQL statement.

Every Iview in Portal giving error

Hi All
1. I have applied SP15
2. Uninstalled JDK 1.4.2_06 and JRE
3. Installed JDK 1.4.2_09
Now every iview is giving same error. Like when I click on Content Administration > Webdynpro it is giving following error :

Oracle ADf :Gives error like Invalid Object

I am using SOA 11g for development. in my project i am having one view which contain two tables.
when i run my application it is giving error like
An unknown error occurred during data streaming.
Ask your System Administrator to inspect the server-side logs
Invalid object name 'ViewBookInfo'.
Plz suggest a solution for the same.

So, did you look at the server-side logs? Is this an SOA application or an ADF application (if it's SOA, you should be on {forum:id=320}, but you'll need to provide more information and do some basic research even on that forum as well).
If it's an ADF application, what do the server-side logs say? What are you doing that causes the error? What is the exact version of JDeveloper?
