AP reload from WLC
Hi Guys,
I have issue AP reload. WCS is show log
802.11b/g interface of AP TT-AP-17B is down: Controller 172.20.42.12 Reason: Max retransmissions for the AP have reached. - Controller Name: TT-12-WLANCTRL-01
AP 'TT-AP-17B' disassociated from Controller '172.20.42.12'. - Controller Name: TT-12-WLANCTRL-01
I have environment with AP 1131,WLC 4402 version 6.0.188, WCS version 6.0.170.0
Can you help me to explain the issue

1142 Kept on Downloading Image from WLC CT2504
Dear All,
i'm a newbie of cisco wireless product, this my first time use.
on the WLC i've set DHCP address pool, everything seems fine after ap download image -> reboot -> hit "Enter" to start blar blar blar... however, after a few second the WLC will initial upgrade image again and again. it's like a non-stop process.
can anyone advise me where to start? attached is the start up message, as you can see, i captured it after the ap successfully boot up, and WLC initial another cycle of image upgrade.
btw, my network is flat, WLC & AP all in the same network.

I had backed up my I-tunes files to an external hard drive but after my computer crashed and I restored it when I try to reload from the hard drive the message comes up ""I-tunes files cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of I-tunes". Help Please

Lost all photos on my iPhoto and get the ERROR WRITING TO DISK when trying to reload from Time Machine. iPhoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem writing to the volume containing your iPHOTO LIBRARY . Looking for solution.
Problems such as yours are sometimes caused by files that should belong to you but are locked or have wrong permissions. This procedure will check for such files. It makes no changes and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem.
First, empty the Trash, if possible.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it, then copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

Acrobat Pro 9 for mac won't launch, reloaded from disk when hard drive needed to be replace. It's in applications folder but there is an X on the Acrobat Reinstall icon. What should I do.

What version of Mac OS are you using?
Adobe does not recommend migrating the software from one disk to the other.
Please run the setup file for Acrobat and reinstall the software. You might want to delete the existing version of Acrobat installed before reinstalling it.

I have just updated to 10.7.3 and safari always reloads previous pages I have been on every time on open it, my home page is set to google yet it always reloads from the history, how do I stop this
There is a setting in the System Preferences for this as well that may be causing it. Go to System Preferences>General>Restore windows when quitting and reopening apps - at the bottom of the window under Number of Recent items. Remove the checkmark from that setting.
Also - if you close all of your windows when you are done with Safari - it should open to your home page. -

RAFHa! thanks certified. the DW experts are pointing at Motion or Episode. I have confirmed that the file won't loop right out of Episode, so that leaves DW off the hook, i think. But what to do?
Perhaps my workflow is flawed. I don't want to use Aftereffects to create web animations anymore. I want to use Motion. But this is a showstopper. .swfs are supposed to loop by default, so I can't imagine what's wrong. thanks for anymore advice.

My customer who has one WLC4402,36 AP1130.Some of APs miss from WLC sometimes but I can ping those APs at this time.I can not find any messages from WLC(version 4.2.61).Any suggestions?
That's all well and good if the controller can be pinged. What is usually the case here is that there is no route to the management interface of the controller or the ap manager interface as well. Check to see if there are IP address conflicts with those two interfaces. Next, make sure that you have not exceeded the total number of APs per physical interface. If you have add a LAG group or a second ap management interface. Verify security certificates are on the APs and that the date and time on the controller is accurate. Lastly, make sure you have no PoE issues or CDP. You're beating a dea horse here guys.

How to remove AP object from WLC 8500 ? I had dismantle one AP so it is now no longer associated with WLC, I want to remove AP info from WLC. But unable to find any command for the same.

Thanks for your answer.. But it's not fulfill my question. I want to remove some of AP entries which is not currently associated with WLC.
Below are steps which I understood when new AP joins to controller in my case.
1) We are configuring AP with static IP and capwap protocol thru console login of AP.
2) We are connecting AP to WLC thru netwok.
3) When A joins to controller, It will be visible at Monitor section > Access Point Summary
4) It will start from AP.macaddress
5) Now remotely we are applying AP name, HIgh availability and assign to appropriate AP group.
Now My query is when AP joins to controller, somewhere there should be entry in database that this mac address of AP is joined to controller along with AP configuration.
I want to delete some of AP databases which are disassociates from controller due to media failure between AP and WLC/AP no longer available.
Is there any command to remove AP entries from Controller ? or any other procedure ?

Several days of edited photos disappeared after a force quit of iphoto, events are there but empty but when I try to reload from sd card it shows adited duplicates, but I can't find them on the mac. I have originals but would prefer not to have to edit again.

I have a WLC 4402 with about 45 1010 APs installetion
WLC code version 4.1.185.0 and APs randomly disassociate from WLC - it happens usually one-two times a day
with an errors:
AP's Interface:1(802.11b) Operation State Up: Base Radio MAC:00:0b:85:xx:xx:xx Cause=Unknown
AP's Interface:1(802.11b) Operation State Down: Base Radio MAC:00:0b:85:xx:xx:xx Cause=Max Retrasmission
I've tried the suggested solutions putting a static ARP entry and moving AP's to different VLAN but nothing works unless the AP's physically rebooted.
I think the problem begin just after upgrading to 4.0.217.0
please note when AP's disassociates from WLC its still reachable via ping

Please adviceLayer 2 mode uses a different non-routable method of AP to WLC connection. By moving to layer 3 you enabled IP on the access points. This is why you were able to reassociate. Layer 2 should only be used when all the APs and the controller are on the same network segment. Bear in mind, Layer 3 is your friend. It will allow latency based applications to work much better and more reliable. Layer 2 is really only used to prepare the APs for some specific configurations that require a quick, clean connection to a controller.

1. Install an external TFTP tool such as tftpd32 tool from http://tftpd32.jounin.net/
2. Assign IP address in the range 10.0.0.2 - .254 ( Ex : 10.0.0.2) to the tftp server (your laptop or pc).
3. Download the IOS to lwapp image onto the tftp's root directory. Use http://www.cisco.com
The filename that you need to rename will show up when you are consoled into the AP
4. Rename ap3g1-rcvk9w8-tar.124-23c.JA3.tar to ap3g1-rcvk9w8-tar.default
5. Make sure you set the IP address on the BVI interface of the AP if not set. Set it in the 10.0.0.x range. Default is 10.0.0.1.
6. Connect the Ethernet port on AP to your TFTP Server ( Laptop ) DISABLE YOUR FIREWALL
7. Hold the mode button and power off the AP.
8. Power back the AP while continually holding the mode button for 20
seconds. -
I have an ipod classic 120gb...
Somehow I have managed to get mutiple duplicates.....
I had a computer crash... and I restore several songs from the cloud, and from my computer backup from an external drive...
and also, from past purchases on itunes...... some songs I had loaded from my own cd collection....and songs had overlapped......
I knew I had duplicates before the crash and never took care of it.... but now of course there are more...
I have taken care of the duplicates in itunes, by deleting them one by one..... I made the mistake of checking boxes then highlighting and doing a mass delete... thinking it would only delete my check boxes.... and loss a lot of music... so had to restore backups again....
so.......
Ipod......... how do I delete duplicates from the ipod, without loosing music from my ipod... I have lost music that is still there I believe on the Ipod that is not on my itunes... but I am not sure...and I can not find a search duplicates in itunes for Ipod.... can anyone help me on this... is there a way to do it, without going through 8 days of music line by line??
