AP remaining amclount

Hi All,
I need to find the amount remaining on invoice to be paid to the vendor, for a particular account and legal entity.
I tried it from the ap_payment_schedules_all and the ap_invoice_distributions_all tables but the account it shows is different totally.
How do I get the remaining amount on ap invoices from the XLA tables. I am on R 12.1

Hi,
I have reset the controller another time and everything worked out fine. The AP's were joining also via port 1 again.
Nevertheless a strange occurrence, I will upgrade the firmware.

After making return, the open qty remains the same and its not reflecting the return qty.
for e.g.
I have made a Sale Order of 100 qty
I delivered 20
In sales order my Delivered Qty is 20 and Open qty is 80
Now I made a Return of above 20 Qty
But after that the Order is still showing Delivered 20 and Open Qty 80
The Open qty should be 0 at this stage.

Your doubt is genuine .
The Open quantity of SALES ORDER , at item level (row) does not increase by returning the goods.
Once you have delivered the goods it will reduced from the Open quantity .
.You have to create a new Sales Order for further Open quantity

SQL Connections remain open after Crystal Report closes

I am wirting an interface to use the crystal report viewer to print reports, connecting to a Progress Open Edge 10.1B database. From our application we declare the application, report, exportoptions and connectionproperties objects and pass these to the crystal reports viewer. Once the report is printed we release the objects and set their variables for null. However we are finding that the SQL connection to the database is remaining connected and we can only release the connection by manually going in a disconnecting.
I have read in forums that people use .dispose or .close to release the connection, however we do not have access to these methods as we do not use .NET. Are there any methods we can use to disconnect these sql connections?

Moved to the Legacy Application forums. Likely using the RDC as your report engine.
You should still be able to close and dispose of the report objects. They are not specific to .NET.
In VB it would look something like these lines::
    crReport.Close
    Set CrystalActiveXReportViewer1.ReportSource = Nothing
    Set crReport = Nothing
Once the report is closed it should disconnect from the DB. If you close the application does that disconnect?
Have you looked on 4GL's site for info on how to?

Error:Message could not be delivered will remain in Outbox

The error message further states that "The server*** cannot be contacted on port 25" This happens when the computer is sleeping and an alarm is sent from iCal. On my older computer, the mail would open automatically and display the alarm message as soon as I opened the computer. No it opens but gives the above error message. Do I need to change a setting of some kind?

This email account is associated with my ISP.
I have no other problems forward, sending or receiving mail on this account. The only problem remains when iCal sends an alarm and my computer is in"sleep" mode. Then the message stays in my Outbox and won't be delivered.

I have multiple libraries on an external drive. Somehow all the iTunes library files i.e. iTunes Library.itl, xml, itdb, Media folder, etc disappeared! Only the music files remain. Now when I start iTunes w/option it can't find any of the old libraries!

Help! I 'm using an old G4 powerbook, Mac OSX 10.5.8, iTunes ver 10. I have multiple iTunes libraries on an external drive. Everything was fine for a while, then all of the iTunes library files, i.e. iTunes Library.itl, xml, itdb, artwork folder, Media folder, etc mysteriously disappeared! Only the music files remain (thank god) So now when I start iTunes w/option key to choose a library, I can't choose any of them because iTunes won't recognize them. Because all the library stuff is missing. So can I re-create the library files? (I don't care if I lose my ratings)
Or should I create a new empty library on the external drive, then manually move all the music files to the Media folder in the new library?
I tried some stupid ideas like creating a new library just to start iTunes, then going into prefs and advanced, then under iTunes Media folder location, selecting the location of the old library on the external, to see if iTunes would then find all the music which is still there, but no workee.
I'm out of ideas, and I searched the archives.
Help! anyone?

point iTunes media folder location back to the external via preferences > advanced
consolidate my library via file > library > organize library
The ntfs hasn't seem to be causing any problems, but I've always wanted to know.
in order for your Mac to write to NTFS drives, it needs some help by installing e.g. the NTFS 3G driver. apparently that or something similar is installed on your Mac already. preferably, it would be formatted for Mac but then windows machines would need to have e.g. MacDrive installed to recognize the drive.

You might just have to contact Apple and ask them to remove it (losing it). Usually people clear a balance by buying one song and having the exact remainder charged to their credit card, but if you don't have a US credit card you cannot do that.

Since updating Firefox as suggested, when I 'save as' a jpeg, it automatically finds the folder and it's always the wrong folder. How can I disable this feature and go back to the original mode where it remains in the folder I choose until I change it?

For example, I saved a jpeg named 'picasso the guitarist'. I have folders titled A to Z. When I click 'save as' it might open the 'K' folder and I have to manually search the 'P' folder for 'Picasso' and save file. The most irritating thing is, when I 'save as' another jpeg of say 'pieter mother & child' it goes to another folder and does not remain in the 'P' folder, rather it goes to the 'X' folder or some other. This didn't happen before the last upgrade. Can I disable this new 'help' feature that is taking more time than the old version?

Current Firefox versions remember the download directory based upon the URL, so if the URL changes then the default folder may be chosen if there hasn't been selected a download folder before for that server.

I am trying to install Creative Cloud on Mac. I downloaded the CCPackager and created a package. When I try to run the package, it freezes on install (technically it says it's still going while the Time Remaining increases constantly

The time actually ran up to 27hours remaining before I force quit it (it was installing for at least an hour already) I have tried this on iMacs running various versions of OSX including Maverick and Yosemite and they both have this issue. This is CC for Enterprise. The package included Photoshop, Bridge, Illustrator, InDesign, Muse, and After Effects. Here is the installer log:

Set the permissions for Everyone in the folder in which CCPackager created, to "Read/Write" enabled. This is strange since there is only an administrator account on the Mac (and that account already has read/write), but it seems to resolve the issue.

If you do not have any billing issue like transaction of the money, they you need to log out & sign back of the CC desktop app.http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
In case you have activated the CC & all of a sudden it shows trial then you can follow http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/trial--1-launch.html
You can also refer to :CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

Adobe Application Manager stuck at "About 2 seconds remaining"

I've successfully installed Macintosh CS6, the apps launch and run, and I checked for updates.
There were a bunch of updates for CS6 so I ran the udpater.
Everything seemed to go smoothly but the Adobe Application Manager says the following (see pic below):

Currently Updating Adobe Extension Manager CS6 Update...
About 2 seconds remaining (100% complete)
Can I quit or force quit the application manager? It's been stuck for about 20 minutes. I've launched several apps (post update) and they seem to be working.

Deleted Table in SQL and DBML still remained relation !!!!

I've deleted a table from SQL database and also dbml and i created new table instead
Also in Store Procedure the new table is used
I've checked that the old table has completely removed
but when in want to excecute the solution (the SP it tells me that previous relation (Foreignkey )
is still remained ?!!!!!!)

Could you please check the relationship and the underlying records between foreign key table and primary key table? We must insert Data into the parent table which containing the Primary Key, before attempting to insert data into the child table containing
the Foreign Key.

% Remaining SL Field in the APO product master

Hi All,
Any body have used the field % Remaining SL field maintained in the product master. Does CTM or SNP Optimzer does consider this?
What is the significance of the field?
We have distribution center DC1 and plant PL1
We have two minimum shelf life requirements for given product X e.g. Minimum Shelf life guarantee of 30 days for X at PL1 and Inter-company minimum shelf life of 45 days between DC1 and PL1.
How can we design solution for this where for the stock transfer requisitions from DC1 to PL1 we want to use Inter-company minimum shelf life and Minimum Shelf life guarantee for sales order at the PL1. I am just thinking % Remaining SL (where I can define Ingtercompany Shelf life) is the one which helps me meet this inter-company shelf life, but it seems to be not working. May be I am not sure how do define and use it.
Please share your thoughts, experience and ideas on addressing these two minimum shelf life requirements.

Try MAT_SET()
MAT_SET ( field name ; field_value' ; <'product'> ; '<version>' ) sets the value of the specified field in the product master record for the specified product in the specified version. The arguments for product and version are optional. If you do not specify an argument for the product, the system uses the currently planned product. However, it is better for performance reasons to use the function ACT_PRODUCT.
MAT_EXTRA_SET() i think sets the fields in the extras tab

SSO logout not working properly (cookie remains set)

Hi, I've just implemented single sign-on authentication for my APEX 2.2 applications with help of these two howtos:

It quite works smoothly, e.g. for pages that require authentication the user is redirected
("Redirecting to the Login Server for authentication...") to the SSO server (another machine, a part of Oracle Collaboration Suite infrastructure). There on the login screen, the user enters the credentials and after submit (if the credentials are OK) is redirected back to the APEX application as an authenticated user.
When the user clicks "Logout", the application redirects him (her) to the page specified in the "Logout URL" attribute of the SSO authentication scheme and the displayed username changes to "nobody". So far so good.
However, the problem is that the user is in fact not logged out. On a subsequent attempt to get to an authenticated page within the same browser window the application displays for a short while "Redirecting to the Login Server for authentication..." but it doesn't really get the user to the SSO logon screen to enter username and password and instead it redirects him (her) directly to the required page as the previously authenticated user (the user who clicked the "Logout" sign). The only workaround is to close the browser window and start over again as the other user, which is not very convenient nor secure. It seems that despite the seeming logout the cookie remains set and I don't how to force the application to get rid of the cookie upon logout.
Has anybody faced this behaviour and has some assistance for me?

Having that, it took me just 5 minutes to adopt it to my conditions (change machine names & page number), paste it to the SSO authentication scheme's logout URL field and sucessfully test it.

It's happened to me before as well. Try holding both lock(top right) and home buttons simultaneously until u see a slight flash of wight then just reboot it normally. If that doesn't work try restoring your device from itunes
