AP Report - discounts taken / lost report

Hi Gurus
I searched in the forum but couldnt find any, So I am posting a question.
Is there a standard report to show discounts taken and discounts lost report for AP?
Or is there any other report in which by changing the parameters and selections I can acheive this.

We are also looking for Lost Discount Report for Vendor. We couldn't find any Standard Reports to show the Discounts taken/Lost Discount. I think it can be achieved through Customized Program.

Closed Won/Closed Lost report

Hi,
I need to run 2 reports. One on when an opporunity was changed to closed lost and one when an opportunity was changed to closed won.
Does anyone know a way of doing this?

There are 6 reporting webinars I suggest you do which will help you get started. To open the report click on the report tab then Design anaylses, this will pop up a second window and on the left are the historical reports and includes the sales stage history report mentioned.

Exceptional Discount in invoice Report

Hi,
Under purchasing reports under Main menu,we are having 'exceptional discount in invoices ' report.What is the significance of that? .Because there it will show only the A/R Invoice report.Why it is given in Purchasing?

Hi Sekar,
It is not a big deal to me. If you select Main Menu - Report, you will find Sales & Purchase is under one menu item. You may create your own Exceptional Discount in Purchase Invoice report based on system report. It would be a simple report.

If you set up the Find My iPhone service prior to your iPhone going missing, then there is a chance that can be tracked and locked, though it depends on a number of factors: the iPhone is turned on, connected to either the 3G or a WiFi network, or has not had the Find My iPhone service disabled or the iPhone been completely restored. Log into icloud.com and go to the Find My iPhone section. If you did not set up Find My iPhone, check with your cell carrier. Some carriers offer their own tracking service, though you usually have to sign up when you still have the phone and have to pay for the service.
If your carrier does not offer such a service and you did not set up Find My iPhone, then there is no way to track the unit nor lock it, though if you set a screenlock passcode, it would be locked already. Notify the police and your cell carrier, and change any passwords for any online accounts you may have used from your iPhone (the iTunes Store, for instance).

Just in case....go to icloud.com/#find and see if your phone shows up.
If it doesn't, there is nothing you can do to prevent someone else from using it if they know the passcode. That means it's time to start changing any and all passwords you have for websites & apps.

Verizon G1100 Gateway Router on FIOS reporting "Eth1: Carrier Lost"

Recently I swapped out our ActionTec router for a new G1100 Gateway Router to get a strong wireless signal in the house. I should mention here that I've worked in IT for over 30 years initially as a programmer and then later as a system integrator.
Since I switched routers, we've been having problems related to losing our FIOS WAN connection roughly every two to four days. On the front of the router, there are two lights and the top one turns red which indicates a lost WAN connection. When I log into the router, up in the top left corner, the WAN status shows Disconnected.
Networking inside the house appears to be normal. We have network file shares between computers in the house the work fine and I can log into different computers using Remote Desktop.
Naturally, the first suspect is inside wiring. Our house is wired with CAT5. Even though these connections have been working fine with FIOS for over ten years, Verizon Support asked that we disconnect all of the hardwired connections. We did that and ran with only wireless network connections, but the WAN disconnect continued to occur.
Support asked me to do a hard reset on the router. Did that and the problem continued to occur.
Support has shipped us two new routers. No change.
I am tempted to put back the old ActionTec router and see if the problem reoccurs, but I have not done that yet.
It is hard for me to believe that we've received several bad, new Gateway Routers. I don't think that the router is the problem.
All of the router logs look normal except for one, repeated entry in the WAN DHCP log. It reports "Eth1: carrier lost." Sometimes this entry appears when we lose connectivity and sometimes is doesn't. New neighbors moved in next door around the same time that I switched routers and they changed the service to the house from Comcast to FIOS.
I only have one question that I hope someone in the community can comment on.
Is finding the entry "Eth1: carrier lost" in the WAN DHCP log something that might happen two or three times a day under normal conditions or is this an unusual condition?

Report works in Crystal Reports, but not when scheduled in Crystal Server

Hi,
I have a pretty simple report designed in Crystal Reports 2008. Basically it shows a list of call notes (memo field) from customer activities in our CRM system. The report works fine in Crystal reports, but when run or scheduled in Crystal Server 2008 the output is always blank. Furthermore, the page format etc. is "lost" in crystal server, so that the output is PDF of a quadratic blank sheet (not my standard A4 format)... Exporting to other formats - excel, Word etc. all gives the same result.
I have tried to strip out various formulas, formatting etc from the report, but nothing helps. Which leads me to thinking that the real problem is that the report contains a memo field? Anyone else had this problem?

Hi Claus,
I've had issues between what Crystal does and what the Report Server does. To resolve this, we found out Crystal Reports 2008 latest service pack has some things that will fix Server 2008 and they aren't in the latest Server update.
We updated Crystal Reports 2008 on our machines. Installed the latest update for Crystal Server and then installed Crystal 2008 on the Report Server and installed the Crystal Reports 2008 update. A lot of our compatibility issues went away after that.

This is only a simple sales receipt application that uses dgv and textboxes to push its data to dataset to the crystal report, a simple one but there are instances that it is very slow.
But I'm having trouble implementing this using SSRS, since I'm only new to this one, wherein I created the report using report wizard, with two button options inside the form for print preview or direct print selection. Actually, it is very easy to implement
with print preview because it uses reportviewer. My problem is that how can I print the report directly without using a reportviewer?

After some further studies with ReportViewer controls and with the use of this tutorial @ : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms252091.aspx, which helps me a lot on how to print a report without using a report viewer, I found out what is missing

Tax Report and Tax Reconcilation Report

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between Tax Report and Tax Reconcilation Report?
What is Tax Reconcilation Report supposed to do?

From the Help Files this is what I have
Tax Report
In this report, you can display documents and manual journal entries that include tax amounts, sorted by tax code.
The tax report includes the following documents:
A/R and A/P invoices and credit memos
Stock transfer documents The stock transfer transactions are displayed only in order to report the transactions in the report due to the fact that the tax percentage is 0.
Manual journal entries
Incoming payments and payments to vendors that are not based on invoices
Incoming payments and payment to vendors that include cash discounts
Tax Reconciliation Report
This report enables you to track the taxes amounts that were posted in sales and purchasing documents and in manual transactions.
The report displays the G/L accounts involved in these transactions and calculates the tax amounts that should have been paid, based on the tax codes defined for each transaction.
The report covers the following transactions:
A/P and A/R invoices
A/P and A/R credit memos
Manual journal entries
A/P and A/R down payment invoices
Incoming and outgoing payments

Migrating to Oracle Reports 6i from Oracle Report 9i

Hi all,
We re-compiled original Forms & Reports 6i source code with Oracle 9i Forms & Reports.
Forms are working really nice with almost no change at all with Oracle 9ias Forms services and Oracle 8i as db. The Oracle 9ias server is W2k. Will be upgrading to oracle 9i db in a short time.
The only change we applied to forms source code was the function to call reports. We are using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT() instead of RUN_PRODUCT.
i.e. the URl is formed in all reports as
http://ip_address:port/reports/rwservlet?DESTYPE=cache&DESFORMAT=PDF&userid=user/passwd@dbname&report=f:\web\formas\ametas\REP_DET_METAS_DPTO.REP&estrategia_par='08'&centro_par=249&depto_par=27100&anio_par=2003&TRIMESTRE_PAR=1
At the beginning we used directly the 6i reports but they were running inconsistently, after several calls to reports they got stock and we did need to reboot report services.
Then as a suggestion we re-build only two reports in reports 9i for testing. But same result when running in combination with 6i reports. Combination means, sometimes called 6i reports someothers reports in 9i.
The reports run fine several times but inconsistently. What I mean is that they can be running normaly many times and suddenly the reports server sends this message
REP-50002:Server is shutting down
DBA reported this issue to our local support but they said configuration is ok.
In other tests and only running 9i reports it seems not getting stock never, at least we run two 9i reports more than 40 times. So the problem seems to be when we run 9i reports in combination with 6i reports. We are planning to migrate all our reports but this mean to rebuild all reports again.
Is someone facing this kind of problem?
Or is this the only solution? Losting men/machine hours rebuilding the reports.
Any suggestion for my DBA to check in configuration?

Reuse Crystal report Viewer For different reports - unload cache

So I am migrating from crystal reports basic to crystal reports 2008. I have hit a stumbling block. Rather than have a new page and report viewer for each report I decided it would be easier to have one report viewer and send to it in session variables the report I wish to run and appropriate parameters. This seemed to work fine in CR basic.
Now I have upgraded the viewer works fine for the first report I run however it then caches this report and doesn't seem to clear it down, if the new report has different parameters I will get a parameter error. If I run a report requiring the same parameters I will get the original report not an updated one.
I believe I need to leave the CrystalReportSource cache on in order to page the report (correct me if I am wrong)
I have taken a few snippets of code, is this possibly running too late in page life cycle have I missed something or is there a way to force a cache clear:

I experimented with various bits in the page unload as you can see I have commented a bit out at present as it was throwing an exception. The SetParametersValue while handy (will clean the code up a bit) didn't make any difference I am still getting the same issue.
