AP reports in WLC by groups

Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to get an availability report of an AP's group through the WCS, not for all the APs of the group, but for the group.

Did you use Monitor mode AP?
Also If client and AP are using 802.11w then containment will not work as in that case the management frames are protected.
To dig further you can try the setup where you have one monitor mode Ap to launch deauth attach. One sniffer mode Ap to see whats going on in Air. and a hotspot which you already have for containing.

Hello,
I am wondering if it is possible to create reports in NCS and have them filtered according to AP Groups created on a WLC.
I am wanting to generate reports based on the AP's in certain AP Groups.
If it's not possible by using the WLC AP Groups, is there another method to create a criteria/filter in NCS based on a group of AP's

Can not view/export a report which has 2 group by field when no data found

Recently I developed a report, which contains 2 group by fields. it runs successfully when the report displays some data.
but when there is no data, i cann't view/export this report.
It shows nothing by html format and shows "this file cannot be opened because it has no pages" message by pdf format.
even there is no records for this report, i still want to see the template file and show some basic information.
please help me.

I've found that, just like I used to do in Oracle Reports, if you put in a COUNT column to count your returning rows, you can put 'No Data Found' when there's no data. That way, your report will return and not error out.
For .pdfs, this is the code I use; COUNT with code of <?if:count(field_name)=0?>.
In the .rtf..
COUNT
No Data Found
END COUNT
Put this in the .rtf before your data should appear or else it won't work.

Line item actuals report for Profit center group

I am looking for a Line Item Actuals report for a Profit Center Group on the lines of KSB 1 report for Cost center /groups.
I tried report "KE5Z but only profit centers can be selected, not profit center groups.
Any help on this

Try out the following report
S_ALR_87013326 - Profit Center Group: Plan/Actual/Variance
Call up Actual line items, here we go you would get the profit center group reports in similar lines as KSB1.

Report links by user group

hi, is it possible to set the "report links" per user group
for example, the report links are Download, Refresh for user group Sales.
the report links are Download, Refresh and Modify for user group Sales Admin.
Just wanna know whether this can be done.

If "Sales" doesn't have the Answers privilege, then the "Modfiy" link won't be rendered even if specified for the request. So you can just keep it in and all users having access to Answers will see it. Read-only users (i.e. no Answers) won't.

How to set different default interactive reports for different user groups?

I'm probably overlooking an obvious solution, but how do I set different default interactive report for different user groups?
For the same interactive report, I want one set of users to see a default where the default filter is based on column X. However, another group of users doesn't have authorization to see that column so I need to set the default filter to something else for them.

You can set a filter on a report in a URL - would that help? I think with apex 4.x you can also link to a saved default report or alternative report...

Inventory reports with external material group

Dear Friends,
In my office in material master record material group & external material groups are maintained. I am looking for a inventory report which shall displays the stock available in paricular plant & other report of stock lying at vendor both should display the material group & external material group. Please help.

There is no Inventory report with external material group field in SAP so consult Abaper to develop the customized report.

Consumption report Date to date ,Group & itemwise

Hi,
Use MB5B report for the same, it will give you qty & values for overall receipts and issues for certain period or else refer report MC.2

Query version of a report 'Compliance 3 - Update Group (per update)'

Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to create a query where I can view number of missing updates based on
my baseline. This will be similar to an existing report 'Compliance 3 - Update Group (per update)' and when I select a collection, I would expect it to show me the results similar to the report itself.
Example:

I'm not totally following what you're asking but why not create a new software update group (no deployments necessary) containing the same updates as in your baseline? This type of update group is informally called a compliance group. That way,
you just run the report you've called out against this compliance group.

This is purely for reporting purposes as we currently have a problem with Reporting Services. I thought I could create a query which will list the updates we have compiles in software update group and show how many servers require that update within limited
collection I will select on the query.

Report S_ALR_87013336 - Profit Center Group: Balance Sheet

Hello All
As an output of this report (S_ALR_87013336 - Profit Center Group: Balance Sheet ) I expect :-
1. B/S recon accounts which has received PC assignment from 1KEK.
2. Other B/S accounts (Inventory etc) which received PC assignment while normal goods movement FI posting.
I am getting the part 1 but not part 2 . I have tried running it with specific account number for Inventory as well but it doesnt come up. Please help
Also it is showing in the output even the Expense account linked to PC . Not sure if there is check in the report itself to only pick B/S accounts. I know this can be worked around by creating Account Groups but want to know the nature of this report.

Nice question and honestly i crossed that as well before, BSEG has separate number of entries for Company code for different profit centre.
So I have many profit centres on which posting has happened.
Is it some thing to do with we being on ECC platform and not used NEW GL ? Does SAP reports on this field only when NEW GL is activated ?
Because not just this report but other GL line item report (S_ALR_87012282 - G/L Line Items, List for Printing ) also shows same balance with / without profit centre.
What I am planning to do is to copy FSV to PCA account group using KE5B and then run all 1KE* transaction + use PCA report for example (S_ALR_87013326: Profit Center Group: Plan/Actual/Variance) ?Hope it will work , your opinion on this.

you must have only 1 query which extracts all your data:
A,q1,10
A,q2,20
A,q3,30
B,q1,40
B,q3,50
C,q2,60
C,q3,70
Open report builder and create a new report from wizard.
Select the first option accordingly with your requirements and go next.
Type a name for your report in the title field then select "Matrix" as layout and go next.
Select SQL Query and go next.
Type your query.
Select the data you want on the rows (i.e. A, B, C...) and click on the ">" button in the Matrix Row Fields section, then go next.
Select the data you want on the columns (i.e. q1, q2, q3...) and click on the ">" button in the Matrix Column Fields section, then go next.
Select the data you want on the cells(i.e. 10,20,30...) and click on the "Sum >" button in the Matrix Cell Fields section, then go next.
Add some totals, if you need them.
Go next and finish.
Now you have a report with the following layout:
         Q1           Q2            Q3       TOT
A        10           20            30        60
B        40                         50        90
C                     60            70       130
TOT      50           80           150       280Bye

How to see the consolidate report of Gl banlance (Group chart of account)

Dear All ,
We have 10 company code ,Each company code we assigned same chart of account.But Consolidate and reporting purpose we created Group chart of account.
Because when i saw the gl account balance ,it showing 10 company code line item for this reason we created Group chart of account created and assigned all gl account in operating chart of account.and group chart of account assigned in operating chart of account.
But now i am not able to see the consolidate report of all company code totals.
Can you guide me where i can see the consolidate report.of all company code trail balance and balance sheet.
