AP Workflow reporting

Does anyone know of a standard report that shows AP document number and value and in who's workflow inbox they are currently sat please?

Well, it looks this way: invoice is parked as PO document via workflow and send for approval - for different reasons (price difference, no GR, any PO found etc). Accountant while parking enters comment - to inform approver about the issue.
Sometimes the invoices bounces back already coded and ready for posting, sometimes is rejected - then we have 2nd comment as the reason for rejection. When finally invoice is ready for posting and is posted - these all comments (for parking, for posting) are disappearing. They are not saved in workflow overview history.
The posting might be done manually via workflow, automatically, or via tcode to post parked doc. But in anyway - comments are not saved. I am sure its possible to review invoice workflow history (if appicable) and see the issues identified for that invoice (audit purposes for instance). But I dont know how to check what should be set up for the workflow to have all these comments saved in workflow overview history (not long text, not WF log).
When i.e. you enter WF overview history you see name and action (park, reject etc) - when was clicking on that line it was seen below the screen the comment.

    I am not sure any std. workflow report exists that will show the list of users for a particular workflow template
    But using table- SWWWIHEAD get the workitem id using corresponding task (WI_RH_TASK) and with WI_TYPE (Dialog), then give the WI id to table- SWWUSERWI to get the users.
    P.S: If you need to get the actual agent of a task then use WI_AAGENT of SWWWIHEAD.

  • Custom Workflow - Reports

    Hi,
    How do we define a custom workflow to generate a report? The report is to get all the users and there attributes from LDAP. I do understand a form also has to be associated with the WF. I have no clue how to head start with custom reporting,
    Please update me or also if possible provide some sample custom workflow , forms , rule for custom workflow reports.

    want to see the workflow stages, action points and who processed steps.

    Hi Sandesh,
    You should have sufficient rights to view the workflow history. Usually Admin or Workflow Admin.
    You can check this in Data manager --> Workflows Tab --> and right click on the workflow job that you want to see and select "Show History" from the context menu.
    In this you can see details of the workflow steps.

  • Generate or modify a workflow report to show Document ID

    How can I modify or generate a workflow report that shows the Document ID? The 2 standard workflow reports (Activity Duration Report and Cancellation and Error Report) do not show the Document ID.

    According to your description, my understanding is that you want to add Document ID into workflow report.
    By default, there are only 2 standard workflow reports. Per my knowledge, there is not an OOB way to generate another workflow report based on Document ID. As a workaround, you can add a ‘Log to History List’ action to the workflow, and log the Document
    ID. Or, you can look up the Document ID into Email, then send email.

  • Is workflow reporting available in SharePoint 2013?

    Is there any reporting around workflows for SharePoint 2013? It appears (based on various posts) that there was a link called "View Workflow Reports" available in 2010 but that it was removed for 2013. My customer would like to see statistics
    on active workflows, timestamps of approvals, status, phases, number of workflows in process vs. completed, time between steps, etc. Is any of this available in 2013? Thanks.

    If you want to view the history of a workflow, you can type the URL:
    http://team-site-address/Lists/Workflow%20history/AllItems.aspx (please modify the URL to your site address) in the browser and check all the history of the workflow.

  • Workflow report/log?

    is it possible to PRINT OUT, save, export.. a report/log of workflow with signatures and changes on document as shown in signature panel .. i mean in the end of workflow?
    ..to attach it to printed version, for example.

    GOS->workflow->workflow overview should show the workflow log showing the status of the workflow until now (workitem name/start data & time/end date &time/decision/status/user name).
    Table swwwihead has the fields wi_cd (creation date) wi_aed (end date) and wi_aagent (actual agent)
    Table sww_wi2obj has the link to the object.
    Table swwloghist has the workitem history.
    You could use the way suggested by Karri, since the decision is hard to read directly. But for workflow reports,I usually use BW see Workflow reporting in BW – extractor improvements

  • Control Workflow Report output using Structural Authorization

    Is it possible to control output of Workflow Reports using Structural Authorizatins. E.g. Workflow Admins having access to tcode SWi2_FREQ will be able to see project wide data, but i want to restrict the workflow admins at department level from seeing workflow data for other departments. is that possible using Structural authorizations or any other mechanism?
    My understanding is that Structural authorizations pretty much control PA/PD, and not other modules. I did a quick test,
    1) Created a org structure
    2) Created employees, users, and set up structural authorizations
    Now when users are granted authorization to PA20, they are restricted to what they should be seeing, but when they are granted authorization for workflow admin reports, structural authorization don't seem to work, they are able to see data for workflow triggered for other departments as well. Is that the standard behavior or i am missing something. I don't have enough experience with Structural auth.
    I will appreciate any guidance on this matter.

    Arghadip, please explain how this will prevent someone from Norway from looking at the workflow log of a workflow for an employee belonging to the Danish part of the organisation.

    To explain a bit more in detail: how does this prevent me (Norwegian) from going into SWI1, SWIA or any other transaction, and looking at data from other parts of the organisation. I don't think it will work.
    I think the only way to achieve this is to either modify SAP's standard code and include some structural authorisation checks - or take the standard transactions out from every user role and create your own wrappers or program copies which basically does the same as the modification would have to do.

  • Workflow Reports Error

    Whenever I click on any of the workflow reports such as the Activity Duration Report or the Cancellation & Error Report, I receive the following error message.
    Report contains no data.   at Microsoft.Office.RecordsManagement.Reporting.Report.Generate(Hashtable query)

    Hi Experts,
      How to extract an sap workflow reports in BW.
      My Scenario is :  I have a task in WF. i want to extract the status of the task(by giving from date - To date or by giving user name) as a report in BW.
    Can anyone help me or provide me some inputs to solve this problem.

    Check in me2n , dynamic selection the field Release indicator. select the value which is not equal to release indicator assign to last approval. and also u can have field Relase stratgy and relase group for selection.

  • Workflow report required

    Dear
    I have one problem in ESS.Actually my client wants a report related to the leaves applied through ESS. In that report  they want the leave request date, start date and end date of the leaves applied and the type of the leave, with the employee name and number who initiates the workflow. Is their any standard report from which we can take the data?
    In which standard table all these entries stored?

    This is already avaliable under Show overview of leave in Working Time->Leave request. You can also get these details from PTARQ (transaction), display documents . Also the tables are PTREQ_HEADER , PTREQ_ATTABSDATA,PTREQ_ITEMS

  • Workflow report by parked document number / Company code / Year

    Hi,
    I need to develop an new ALV report to find out the status of the parked document.
    The selection criteria will be as below:
    1. parked document number
    2. Company code
    3. Fiscal year
    The out put of the report should have the below details.
    1. Document Parked by
    2. Status (Error/in process/processed)
    3. Approver name1
    4. Approver Name2 and all the approver names.
    5. Error Message (If any).
    I am not able to figure out the link between the parked document number and the workflow.

    I got all the work item id for this table (SWW_WI2OBJ) but how can i differentiate them. For example which work item id is to find out managers and which one to find out the status and so on....
    and how can i find out list of all the approvers for a particular parked document number.
