AP541n - SNMP Uptime Incorrect, Contact and Location Information Unchanged

I have two AP541N's (running the latest firmware - v2.0.0) which I recently started monitoring via SNMP.  Everything appeared fine until I rebooted the devices and noticed that the uptime was coming back as 200+ days.  At no point in time have I been able to update the contact or location information.
If I perform a manual snmpwalk, I get the following:
SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0 = STRING: Linux Cisco Small Business (none) 2.6.21.5 #1 Tue Feb 22 15:50:58 EST 2011 mips64
SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9.1.1135
DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (2465680884) 285 days, 9:06:48.84
SNMPv2-MIB::sysContact.0 = STRING: Unknown
SNMPv2-MIB::sysName.0 = STRING: (none)
SNMPv2-MIB::sysLocation.0 = STRING: Unknown
How can I go about resolving these issues?
Thanks,
-Ed

Hey Stephanie-
No worries about overlooking the post, and I'm glad you found humor in my previous reply...
Thanks for checking into the matter.  I definitely would love the issue fixed, but I can wait until the official release.  Not that I don't trust beta's, but I don't trust beta's ... and the issue is more of a cosmetic one, than a performance hinderance.
Thanks Again,
-Ed

  • All of my contacts and calendar information has disappeared. How do I get it back?

    All of my contacts and calendar information has disappeared. This is not the first time this has happened, and when it happened in the past I just turned on my contacts in the iCloud in "settings." This didn't work this time and I was curious if anyone can help me restore the missing info. and/or tell me why they randomly disappear every now and then.

    It's hard to say what would cause that but I doubt you are doing anything wrong.  They only way you could intentionally make you contacts or calendars disappear is if you either turn off iCloud syinc for contacts and calendars in Settings>iCloud or signed out of your account.
    If it continues to happen, you might want to completely sign out of your account, then sign back in.  To do this, you would want to start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.  Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide your password and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your data will still be in iCloud), then sign back in.

    Where were you storing your contacts?  In the cloud?  In outlook?  Synch them back from wherever they were being stored.

  • HT201269 Transfer contacts and BBm information from My blackberry to new Iphone 5S. How can we do it?

    Hi,
    Ned to transfer my contacts and BBM contacts from Bold 5 to new Iphone 5S. Please advise.

  • I have an Iphone4 and 3gs using the same apple id and same itunes account. is it possible for them to not share photos,contacts,and other information. I'm afraid to sync one and lose the info the other phone has

    I have two iphone users sharing one apple id and itunes account. Can I snc both phones to the itunes account without sharing each others info i.e. photos, music, contacts? I am afradi to sync one and lose the information the other one has.

    A solution would be to use Apple's iCloud to sync instead of iTunes. This requires the latest operating system, iOS 5. Now backups will be done to the cloud, and you can choose what gets synced across your devices by turning them off in iCloud settings (i.e. turn off Calendars, Photos, etc.).

  • Lost Contact and Backup Information on iPhone and Mac Computer

    I recently had a serious computer crash (not sure how, because Mac has ALWAYS performed exceptionally), but I had to totally re-install the OS system on my computer, of course losing ALL the old data... HOWEVER, I was able to save or back up all my old data to an external hard drive, but now I can not find the iPhone data anywhere on my external drive. Is the iPhone data saved in a "hidden file"somewhere??? And even if I can find the file, how can I extract the data, and get it back on my iPhone??? And to complicate this dilemma even more, I used my Macbook Pro 17" notebook computer to service or activate/update both MY iPhone as well as my wifes iPhone. It is my wife's data that is missing or lost.. Please help me... Lost without contacts...
    Thanks,
    Lester

    Yes, I "initially used "Time Machine", however, I believe one of the reasons my computer crashed in the first place was because I got a virus or worm, and after several days of trying to restore my computer using the Time Machine option, it would never completely restore properly.. I realize this might sound crazy, but I believe whatever effected my hard drive, may have effected time machine also.. I can't be sure... But to answer your question specifically, I went into my time machine, and I transferred the complete "user" folder to another clean external hard drive... And the funny thing is, since you told me where to look for the mobileSync files, I can find them on the new external drive, but nowhere to be found on the time machine.. I hope that answers a few question...
    Please don't give up on me yet... I am desperately trying.. *humble smile*
    Thanks
    Lester

  • How do I transfer my contacts and other information from my 4S to my 5S when I receive it?

    In the past, I've always purchased my iPhone upgrades from the store (either Apple or AT&T) but I think I'm finally savvy enough to do all this on my own.
    I searched the knowledge base but I couldn't find anything that addressed this particular issue, and AT&T is even less helpful.
    I'm guessing I would do this in iTunes, but how does it work? Are there any surprises I need to be ready for?
    Thanks, all!

  • Hiding private contact and other private information

    I have used a Palm PDA for years and depend on its ability to hide private contacts and private information while having those not marked private visible.  (To view the private information one must enter a password.)
    I am trying to migrate from using both the Palm PDA and Blackberry to using the Blackberry 8830 World Edition exclusively.  Is this feature available on the Blackberry?  That is to have certain information visible only after a password is entered?   If not, is there a third party program available which performs that function?
    Thanks for your assistance.

    The native OS will use the password to lock the entire device.
    Yes, black pangolin appears to be the same as safebox. I don't know know about about Safebox or BlackPangolin to recommend it. I have not used it, and I have read show less than favorable reviews of it.

  • Contacts and calendar from SIM card to memory stick

    Is is possible to transfer my contacts and calendar information from my 3G SIM card onto a memory stick that I can then put on my HD? This information only lives on my phone right now and all the troubleshooting tips are not working. I've been told I have to re-enter all my contact information manually before anything can be done about my not syncing problem. I am trying to avoid the manual labor.

    Unfortunately, I don't either. If you delete the MobileMe account from the iPhone, I believe you'll erase all of the contact info on the iPhone. If it's not in MobileMe either...well, that's not good!
    One possibility for the contacts data (but not the calendar data). Contacts are backed up when you sync the iPhone (not to your Address Book via sync with MobileMe active, but in the iPhone backup made by iTunes before a sync). There's 3rd party app, MobileSyncBroswer, which can export the contact info from the iPhone's backup file on your hard drive. You'd need to buy a license to actually export the contact data, the free version lets you see part of the contact info so you can make sure it's there.

  • How do you sync Yahoo contacts and iCal calendar to the Touch

    Help results say "If you have an iPod, iPod nano, or iPod mini, you can sync it with Address Book contacts and iCal information on your computer" but we have the Touch. It also says "When the iPod icon appears in iTunes, select it and then click the Contacts tab", but no Contacts tab appears when I select the iPod on the left in iTunes.

    The tab you're looking for is called "Info". You should see it just after "Photos".

  • Moving contacts and calendar entries from Outlook 2007 to iphone

    Don't know what happended - after installing newest update today - I do not have any contacts or calendar information on my iphone. I have had no problems for the last two months - now nothing. How can I get my contacts and calendar information back to my iphone from outlook 2007?

    In my case, I am sure that everything is set up properly. My calendar is still synching just fine, but I have NO contacts on my iPhone any longer. They are still in Outlook but just will not synch to my iPhone.
    I have tried resetting the sync history, restoring the iPhone back to scratch, creating a new Outlook profile, and even trying to synch my Outlook contacts from a different user account on my PC. None of these things have worked. I was synching just fine until the update but not anymore, and I am starting to get really angry....

  • Contacts and Caendar won't sync - how to turn off "over the air" syncing?

    I have an 2nd gen 8GB Touch, a Macbook and use iTunes 8.0.1. I do not have Wi-Fi at home. I also have a dot-Mac (or Mobile Me, I guess) account.
    When I first got the Touch, I opted in the iTunes Info section to sync both calendar and contacts, and everything came over fine. However, all of that somehow disappeared, and no amount of re-syncing will help. Now, my Info tab indicates that my contacts and calendars are being synced with my iPod over the air - I do not have the option of checking any boxes there. I have tried every permutation of settings in the iPod, but this doesn't change anything. I also cannot find any helpful help screens anywhere (including on this forum, where I have already searched).
    Could someone please advise me how I can regain the checkboxes so my contacts and calendar information syncs when I connect to the Macbook and use iTunes to sync everything else (photos, music and movies all work fine).
    TIA
    BobF

    This sounds like a MobileMe problem; or, rather, the solution will be found there. Try this page:
