Apache 2.2 and weblogic  integration

Hi ,
We are installing epm 11.1.2.3 and we are using apache 2.2 installed on server1(windows 2008 R2) and foundation services installed on sever2(windows 2008 R2). We have disabled ohs in the server 2 and used apached 2.2 as our web server to proxy the traffic. Our system is SSL enabled.
We are able to open work space from the server 1 and are able to access the reports and everything looks fine as far as the proxy and integration is concerned.
We are having trouble with the epm static content. we tried creating folders on the local system but it is not working so when I go to epm_online_help it gives me garbage. So all the files that are placed in the epm static content folders are not being accessed.
Did anyone work with this system architecture. Please let me know if anyone knows the solution.
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
This is the Java System Web server (now called Oracle Iplanet Web Server) forum so not the best place for Apache issues. That said it looks like there is a problem
with a location wrapper for the epm.  I would check the epm  docs to make sure the configuration is correct or raise a SR into Oracle.

  • Apache httpd.conf and Weblogic server integration.

    Dear friends,
    I am seeing a strange problem in my Apache and weblogic integration work.
    In the Apache httpd.conf file, under mod_weblogic.c module, if i dont turn DebugConfigInfo ON then my system is not working properly. always hitting with http 404 error. can you please explain why this is required and if required is it mandatory to turn it ON ?
    when i read in weblogic docs, its mentioned as to turn it OFF for security reasons. But if i make it as OFF then my website is not working properly.
    Here is the conents of mod_weblogic.c module in my httpd.conf file.
    <IfModule mod_weblogic.c>
    WebLogicHost rlw1csts08.bpweb.bp.com
    WebLogicPort 7001
    DebugConfigInfo On
    #EnforceBasicConstraints OFF
    PathPrepend /csmain-web
    ErrorPage /err/serverErrorWL.xml
    #WLLogFile "| /export/home/wwwst08/apache/bin/rotatelogs /export/home/wwwst08/apache/logs/WL_apache_error.log.%Y%m%d%H%M%S 86400"
    WLLogFile "/export/home/wwwst08/apache/logs/WL_apache_error.log"
    </IfModule>
    Please let me know your inputs. Its very urgent.
    Thanks
    subba.

    I donot have the complete httpd.conf with me right now but you have to follow the following steps:
    1) Compile Apache with ssl module included
    2) Instead of Port 80 change the port to 443 at global level or at virtual directory level
    3) If u want to redirect the traffic on port 80 to port 443 then also include mod_rewrite module while compiliing apache and write a rule to redirect the traffic from port 80 to 443

  • WLST and WebLogic Integration

    Hi all,
    I have installed WebLogic Integration 8.5 bundle. Meaning i have also installed weblogic server 8.1. on Windows XP
    I am now trying to use Weblogic Scripting Tool WLST. But there is no tools on the menu(tools->weblogic scripting tool) this was added in the 9.1 installation...
    How do I configure my installation weblogic server 8.1 with WLI8.5 to run WLST?
    after i run setELSEnv.cmd to set the environment. Then i try java weblogic.WLST and the error is "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: weblogic/WLST"
    Where are the libs, how do i configure WLST to run.
    I also tried starting the WLST from the 9.1 installation, but it cannot connect to 8.1 installation, tough connecting to 9.1 installation is no problem. If i try i get this error: "weblogic.management.ManagementRuntimeException: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: isCachable"
    (I installed weblogic 9.1 and there the WLST was installed during installation and all works just fine. unfortenatly my system must run on 8.1->wli8.5)

  • Reg: 3DNS and weblogic integration

    Hello:
    Can any one tell me
    1)How to integrate 3DNS with weblogic server.
    2)If integration possible then is there documentation on this.
    3)Brief overview of the integration.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Vijay

    Dear Sugandgha,
    Let us look at MM and SD integration with the scenario of a third party order process. This process uses a purchase order (which is sent to your vendor). Also invoice verification is used further along the process to check that the invoice you send to your customer is the same material and quantity as that which the vendor sends to you (but obviously shipped
    directly to your customer).
    The integration areas between SD and MM :-
    1. When you create sales order in SD, all the details of the items are copied from Material master of MM.
    2. MRP and availability check related data is also taken from MM although you control this data in SD also.
    3. While you create inbound/outbound delivery with reference to a sales order,the shipping point determination takes place with the help of the loading group, plant data, shipping conditions etc. This also refers to Material Master.
    4. The material which you are entering in a sales order must be extended to the sales area of your sales order/customer otherwise you cannot transact with this material.
    I hope this will help you,
    Regards,
    Murali.

  • Apache 1.3 and Weblogic 10.3

    Is there a connector for Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3 from Apache 1.3? As it was for 8.1 Weblogic (mod_wl.so)?

    You will need to upgrade to a recent version of apache (2.2). 1.3 is long gone, and 2.0 is deprecated. 2.0 modules are also incompatible with 1.3.

  • How can i do OID and weblogic integration?

    hi,
    i installed weblogic 10.3.0.0 on linux.
    on another server i have an OID.
    i want to integrate this OID with weblogic.
    how can i do?
    in oracle application server. i did it from OC4J administration page. under the security tab. identity management.
    there is a configuration page to define OID.
    thanks for helps.
    Eser

    If OID has a standard LDAP interface, which I believe it does, then configuring an LDAP Authentication Provider is the fundamental way to do this:
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs103/secmanage/atn.html#wp1198953
    In this case I believe you want to use the generic LDAP Authentication provider.
    Good luck and post back if you get this to work.

  • Apache HTTP server and Tomcat integration using mod_jk

    Hi, I'm trying to get Apache version 2 Server running with Tomcat 7 as the Java Servlet container (I'll be using Solr as the webapp next). Followed the instructions in the wiki articles Tomcat and Apache and Tomcat.
    The applications work fine separately. It's only when I modify the httpd.conf files as instructed that I get this error when I restart httpd and tomcat. This problem seems identical to this topic although the user that posted it does't know how he fixed the problem.
    Terminal wrote::: Starting Apache Web Server                                                                        [BUSY]

    The only bit that I didn't follow to the letter is the part where it says to set TOMCAT_JAVA_HOME=/opt/java \. I have it as
    TOMCAT_JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk. No idea why it repeats that the java home is in the /opt directory.
    I installed mod_jk from the AUR version 1.2.37-1.
    Any idea what the problem is?

    download the binary version of TomCat from
    http://jakarta.apache.org/
    and install it. but your need to set the environment variable...pls refer to

    JSP hava some similarity of ASP. ASP is using Personal Web Server.

    I finally found the win32 plugin for apache web server and weblogic connectivity.
    I downloaded the apache win32 broser and copied the .so files in the modules directory.
    I also created an entry in the httpd.conf file like
    LoadModule weblogic_module modules/win32/mod_wl_20.so
    but when I run apache it gives error
    apache: module "mod_weblogic.c" is not compatible with this version of Apache.
    Please contact the vendor for the correct version.
    The installation steps in the weblogic documentation are outdated as they talk
    about AddModule command and apxs bat file. Because as of Apache 2.x series these
    have been removed.
    Please let me know how to make this work I will be very thankfull.

    httpd 2.0.39 , so if apache' version is 2.0.40 will result in this problem

  • Weblogic Integration 9.2 - Domain Configuration SQLAuthenticator

    hi
    <p>
    After downloading, the new vesrion, I started to use the Configuration Wizard to set up a Test Domain.
    <p>
    At the completion of the configuration, the following message is presented:
    <p>
    "This domain is configured to use the SQL authenticator security provider. You must load database tables in the "Run Database Scripts" panel or load the tables manually after completing the wizard using the SQL file located at ..... /security/SQLAuthenticator.sql"
    <p>
    1: This is something new as far as I can tell. At least I've never encountered it and I have installed earler versions of 9.2, ALSB recently
    <p>
    2: when setting up a new domain, neither the server nor pointbase are running. Hence the scripts cant be run from withiin the Config Wizard.
    <p>
    3: Cant start the Admin server for the new domain because the tables are not set up
    <p>
    4: How do I run the .sql script manually? I'm assuming the PB Console but I dont actually know the Pointbase Datbase name that I should connect to for this purpose
    <p>
    5: I can't find any discussion of this in the release notes, upgrade notes etc.
    <p>
    So I'm stuck. This seems a pretty strange way to do things. Any advise would be appreciated.

  • How to configure apache and weblogic in windows 2000

    i am novice,
    i want to configure apache and weblogic in windows 2000
    weblogic version is 6.1
    apache version is 2.0
    how to do?

    George,
    I would take the following 'first steps'
    1)Install Apache20 on your Windows machine following the Apache online documentation
    http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/misc/tutorials.html
    2)Make sure you can 'serve up' static HTML content from your Apache Server
    3)Install Weblogic Server per our online documentation
    http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs61/install/index.html
    4)Also, make sure you can 'serve up' both static and dynamic (e.g., JSP) content
    directly from WLS server
    5)Once you have both of the above 'sanity' checks attempt to configure a simple
    proxy by ppath or mime type via our online documentation
