Apache is Webserver but too complicated

Hi,
Can any body please provide me some document to understand Apache. Which explains everything about webserver and its relationship with mod_jserve, mod_plsql, JVM and different file it uses. How the parameters in httpd.conf,jserv.conf, jserv.pro, zone.pro(other important file like apps.conf ) like heap memory are used (I know the basic parameter like keepalive, max,minserver...). how to tune webserver.

How certain are you the superdrive ONLY is at fault?
That depends on your skill level, if you grew up tearing things apart and putting them together, its absurd how easy it is.
For some however its too daunting. On a general skill level for the "average" person its about a 3 out of 10 in difficulty.
Can you order same? yes.

I'm working with wls 5.1 as webserver but I want to add a further tier to my
architecture installing apache and letting wls to work as application server
only.
Wich are the main steps to do this?
Wich are the main changes in weblogic.properties?

Help! Lenovo G500 Laptop too complicated for user

Hi,
My son is overwhelmed with his new Laptop and am trying to help but just too many screens & choices for him to get used to! He upgraded from another laptop brand which had a simpler interface and wondering if it's possible to set this up simpler i.e. one screen/desktop. Just a "traditional" type with links for internet, documents, photos, etc?
It's just too complicated with Start, Desktop, sidebar, toolbars, etc.

No - iPhoto probbably is not crowded (it workd up to 250,000 photos) and even if it is that has no effect on the screen display

Try disabling the 'Recognize text' function and then convert the document again.

It depends on how you installed it. You have to shutdown the MySQL service first. If you used the standard, but obsolete Startup Item, you can do that with the Startup Item. If you created a launchd script, you can do it with launchctl. Once MySQL is no longer running, you can delete the Startup Item or launchd script and the rest of MySQL.

Integrating jboss and apache httpd webserver

Hi folks,
I am a new comer in J2EE realm. Prior to this, I have been using Tomcat and Apache httpd and serves me very nicely.
However, I am now required to evaluate the possibilities of using JBoss. Since we are in need of Apache httpd webserver (we are still serving some old cgi-based), how can we integrate JBOSS and Apache? This is to say that when the request is for J2EE, how can we let Apache forwards this request to JBoss for processing? is this possible though?
