Aperture 1.5 demo download needed

I need to re-install Aperture 1.5 but I have lost my disk. I have a note of my license key so I was wanting to simply download the demo version and re enter my license. Unfortunately the only downloads available appear to be upgrades that are dependent upon the original application being present. Does anyone have any idea where I could get the demo version from?

My company demo download for portal release 2

I'm wondering if there is a "my company" demo download available for Oracle 9i AS Portal release 2 (9.0.2.1.14a). All i could get is of version 3.0.9 and it does'nt seem to work with our current portal release. It created the schema & some tables but failed to import the database objects(appimp.csh,contimp.csh & pageimp.csh are missing in the /wwu directory of our installation). I'm not sure if its our installation fault or anything.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone can share their knowledge on this. Thanks & Regards,

I installed latest Aperture updates, and then downloaded photos and built slidewhow. Went to burn in iDVD and it won't read new slideshow. Any Ideas?

Without know how you exported the slideshow from Aperture and how you are using iDVD and what errors or messages you are getting then no, haven't a clue.

If you have not set up iCloud backup or backed up using iTunes, all data on the phone was lost once it entered recovery mode.
Your only option is to restore it and start new.

Aperture = iPhoto + Bridge Photo Downloader + Photoshop?

I am considering to use Aperture to streamline my workflow but I wonder about its file management capability. Let me explain the details:
I love iPhoto to browse, find and preview photos. It provides the most intuitive, easy and fast way for that. The interface is also nice. The photo-editing capability is negligible for me as I use Photoshop for this.
But I really hate the way it manages imported photos as Rolls and keep everything hidden under the 'Package'. So instead, I use Adobe's Bridge Photo Downloader from Photoshop to download photos from my cameras/iPhone and I set it to organize the files into folders: year/year-month/date-time of the photos taken. Then I'd import them to iPhoto - but without copying the originals. So basically I create a Reference Library for my iPhoto. I then tag/assigning Keywords the photos accordingly (I have plenty of keywords assigned). I sometimes create Events or Albums too - especially great for showing photos on my computer to friends and family.
Photoshop is set as the external app to edit photos so from iPhoto I can open the file in Photoshop (which I have been using for all my photo editing needs including RAW).
From what I gathered so far, Aperture seems to be a more efficient alternative to process RAW photos, and I've been wanting to find an alternative to the iPhoto-Bridge-Photoshop method above. Basically I need a Photo App that can do all the following:
1. Import original photos from cameras/iPhone and then automatically organize them chronologically (in folders of year/year-month/date-time of the photo taken) a la Bridge's Photo Downloader
2. Tag/Keywords, create Events and Albums, and to Preview photos quickly a la iPhoto
3. Edit RAW files without harming the original files a la Photoshop
I wonder whether Aperture is suitable for the usage I described above?

You can rename files on each import. However, saving files is not Aperture's job. If you put the files wherever you want, and then import them into Aperture as referenced images, they stay where they are.
Alternately, and this would be much more tedious, you could import them all into Aperture as managed photos, and then use Aperture to "relocate masters" to somewhere else. That's sort of like two steps where one (my first paragraph) would suffice.
If you want to organize photos by year, that is the job of Aperture. However, that is the job of Aperture *within the confines of Aperture*. Aperture is built primary to help you organize your photos within its database. You can make smart albums to show you every photo from 2010, for instance. That smart album is meaningless in Finder because it is not a primary function of Aperture to help you organize outside of Aperture. Basically, if you want to use Aperture to make directory structures for Finder, you aren't using Aperture in the most effective way.
When I edit a RAW file in Photoshop, Photoshop keeps the new setting within the RAW file itself without creating new file and I can go back and make further changes or revert back to original state - all in the file itself.
Are you sure about that? I thought Photoshop used the sidecar XMP files for that sort of thing. I'm no expert, but there's generally no provision in the file formats (including RAW files) for "this is how you undo something." I don't use Photoshop like that, but it sounds fishy that Photoshop will choose to write new data to a RAW file, as RAW files are proprietary and will never be produced by anything but a camera. It sounds doubly fishy that it will also write *undo data* to a RAW file. Again, I'm no expert at Photoshop, but I am an expert at software engineering, and it sounds pretty strange and error-prone.

Aperture will not make a new copy of a master (RAW or not) unless you explicitly duplicate it (and that is not what you are asking about). Aperture, being a Digital Asset Manager, will never modify your masters. (Except if you change the date/time and choose to modify the master.) This is unlike photo editors like Photoshop, which may manipulate their input files and save those changes to the same files. Aperture makes a version, which is a recipe for changing the appearance of your master.

Aperture crash - where to download full version

I transfered my Aperture from a different computer and now it is not working at all anymore. When I log in my apple account it shows the serial number of my Aperture but no download available.
Where can I download a full Version of Aperture 2.1.1.

simple apps are easy to transfer
Pro apps are very complex and is NOT recommended to transfer as there are files all over the place and using multiple framework systems
also most of the apps (FCS or Logic) ARE HUGE! multiple DVDs
Aperture is good in that there is a downloadable trial that is fully upgradeable to a full version as long as you have a full serial number
don't know why you can't download the software but it is there at http://www.apple.com/aperture/trial/
just put in your full version serial
also there is no need to install the older version (v1) to be able to upgrade to (V2) as apple is making full version installers for upgrade versions which makes it easy to upgrade a new system (Ya Apple)

Aperture 3 Help says it needs Javascript

I've just downloaded the A3 trial onto my MBPro with Leopard 10.5.8. I pulled down the help menu and it says the Help needs to have Javascript enabled.
Where do I enable it? It is enabled in Safari.

I know someone already mentioned the online version, but it would be helpful to know if the people having this problem are able to use the one online. I'm not having any problems with Help so I can't test it.

I do recall there was an ISE 1.1 download link available some time ago, but I can't find an ISE 1.2 page anywhere. I'd like to test things out before I open a conversation with a sales-based partner.

Aperture Gallery Full Resolution Download

Does anyone know how to set Aperture to create a web gallery with links to the full-resolution photo?

When you create a web page in Aperture, or a smart web page, you can specify a preset for the detail image - you can edit and set this to a very high resolution. This way a high resolution image can be downloaded.
Also, you can simply add an URL to the download file in any of the text fields.

I need to export a subset of data from an essbase database ; I'm using essbase 9.2.1 .
I'm reading that the @JEXPORT function, or @JExtendedExportTo function will work for this need.
Does anyone know where this can be downloaded? I'm having trouble finding it on the Oracle/Hyperion dev sites.

Aperture issue on iMovie download?

I have already got latest version of Aperture installed. Have just downloaded iMovie and it appears to have started a complete reinstall of Aperture. If I let it run will it overwrite my existing install and mean I lose all my images etc? Or is this normal?

I shot 3 videos on my iPhone 4. I simply want to edit them together in iMovie for iPhone. After I exported them (in 720P) it showed up in the camera roll as a small square picture surrounded by lots of black space.
In fact, after transferring them to my computer I noticed comparing to the original that top and bottom of video was cut off!
Anybody have a clue why that is happening?
Doesn't seem to matter which resolution export I pick. They are all reduced in size and cut off.
