Aperture 2.0 Inspector (move it to Right hand side?)

I saw somewhere in this discussion group that the inspector can be moved to the right hand side from it's default on left. I cant find it anywhere in the manual. Can someone give me the keyboard short cut to make that move?

view -> inspector -> swap position ...
or shift-i ...

Are they gone completely from the computer, or just no longer in the library? Check your movie media folder.
If your'e in the USA you can download some movies a second time, but not all (studio dependent). You should always back up all media.

I have no bar on the right-hand side to move down the page

that would probably be caused by a Theme, and Extension, or a Style, you can check that ouit quickly by testing in safe mode (one time restart of firefox)

Sorry, but I never use full screen for anything except an occasional web video. These are my Dock settings and the 66 icons on it take up little real estate.

How do I force all Tabs to the right hand side, leaving space on the left?

It feels more intuitive to have the first tab against the right hand side and it's easier to find because it always remains in the same position when, eg, closing other tabs. I use TabMixPlus, but can't find the required option. Many thanks.

You can check out code in the userChrome.css file to see that it doesn't really work well (tabs move around when you hover or click).
Add code to the userChrome.css file below the default @namespace line.

You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:

While importing pictures I cannot change the import settings on the right hand side of the panel. I would like to change the date format.

Apparently I am missing something (stupid). Suggestions are welcome. I'm a novice with Lightroom. Just migrated from Aperture.

I am going to assume that what you meant about changing the date format is that you want to change the way the date is formatted in the renamed file. Is that correct? To do that, you need to tell Lightroom you want to rename your photos during import. On the right hand side panel of the Import dialog is a section on File Renaming. Open that up and you will find a Template drop down box. This is where you can build a file renaming template to fit your needs or you can create a custom one. If you do create your own, make sure to save it as a preset if you want to reuse later. There are all sorts of ways to rename your files with several different date formats to choose from.
Another possibility is the subfolder option for where you are going to store your imported folders. If you chose to Organize By Date, you can also use the Date Format drop down box to choose a date format. This will cause Lightroom to build a folder for each date found in photos you are importing a create a separate folder for each day found. So, if you had three batches of photos from three separate days, three new folders would be built by Lightroom and the photos created on day one would be stored in the day one folder. Same for day two and day three.
Finally, if you don't like the format of the capture date or one of the other dates fields stored in the metadata, you are out of luck. You can change the date but not the format.

Mac book air, laggy usb mouse, on the right hand side usb port!!! :|

Been using my mac book air on my 21.5 inch monitor via the moshi HDMI adapter..
I also use a logitec M235 mouse(just a normal USB wireless Mouse)..fot the last week i been trying to figure out whats wrong with it, since its laggin soo bad, and pretty much unuseable..it has its phases, it runs fine for 5mins and then goes back to the terrible lag, the computer is unusable, the mouse would just skip like half the screen whenever i tried to move it..its not the system thats lagging since my keyboard functions fine, its only the mouse that choppy and lagging
yesterday i swapped the usb port, and then it works fine..
the problem is only on the right had side USB port, can my USB be malfuncitoning, or is it a software issus, I also tried a different mosue, and the result is the same, terrible lag on the Right hand side USb port, and works fine on the Left hand side..
i tried moving the laptop somewhere else thinking it was some interference, still the same!!
what should I do. I also reset the SMC controller, and its still the same..
its just weired, and annoying. and my warranty expires in 3 weeks!!!
Help appriciated!!
model is 2012 macbook air, 8GB ram, i5 processor.. (also i have plenty of free ram and my processor usage is like 10%)

Shifting the Company Logo to the right hand side?

Hi Guys,
There is a requirement to put the Logo of the Company in the header on the Right Hand Side of the Self Service Page. The customer has already modified all the buttons.links etc.The last requirement was to shift the Company Logo to the right hand side.
Also there is a requirement to put the company on the Login Page.
Please suggest a suitable way to achieve this.

There is no standard functionality to move the company logo to right hand side.
But you can do a workaround,
Take a backup of your $COMMON_TOP/html/OA.jsp
add the following code

But you can keep in $OA_MEDIA also, but you give the corresponding path.
goto your $COMMON_TOP/_pages/_oa__html/
remove the cache for OA.jsp, using
rm OA.
YourCompanyLogo.bmp should be an image which will have your company log in the right hand side.
And you can place a empty image for the standard image.

IPod Nano 4th Gen White "scratch" mark on right hand side

There is a white scratch mark, in the right hand side of the screen, you try to wipe it, but it won't go away, it is inside the screen, when watching a movie with a black background, the scratch turns white, when watching a movie with a white background, the mark turns black.

If you are still under warranty, call Apple and take it in for repair. Otherwise, see if a local repair shop can help you. If the blemish is under the screen, there's nothing much you can do about it.

Vertical menu on right-hand side of the screen with submenus to the left

You will have to edit the CSS rules to have a negative offset relative to the parent element. Though, to be honest, it's a terrible idea in terms of usability.

Black or multi-colored strip an right hand side of copies

My C7280 was not used for two weeks. When I returned home, the printer prints a black or multi-colored line about 1/2 inch wide down the right hand side of the copy. I ran the print dead cleaners three times. Any ideas what is wrokng?

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with black lines on your scans or copies. I have had this issue myself on my very own 8600 and I was able to get it resolved. The issue actually stemmed from two locations and with any luck we can get this issue resolved for you. First thing to look at is under the scanner lid. Lift the scanner lid and to the left of the large scanner glass, you will see a small strip of glass. Please take a light glass cleaner and a lint free cloth and clean the small glass area as well as the big glass . On the under side of the lid, you will see a white plastic strip. Please clean this as well. IF you have already done these steps then please move on to the next step.
The printer power cable needs to be connected to a wall outlet and NOT a power Bar/Strip. HP printers already have a built in surge protector and if you have it plugged into a Bar/Strip, the printer will NOT get all the power needed to function properly and it will cause issues with scans or copies and it could even generate false error messages on the printer display screen.
Please try these steps and if they work, Fantastic. But if they don't, please feel free to write me back.

Right hand side of iphone 5s screen, non responsive

Good afternoon,
I recently got my new iphone 5S and have found that the right hand side of the screen is sometimes unresponsive when touched, just 2 x examples is when I am in the Settings menu I battle to move the sliders as well as when playing candy crush.
Could you please confirm the reason for this?
Should I be requesting a replacement phone?
