Aperture 3; how to delete a plugin?

I want to delete some plug ins for example noise ninja, how do i do that?

If, as would be expected, it has been installed for the use of any User Account, then double-click on your hard drive, then click on Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-ins/Edit and then remove it to the Trash.  I would first make sure Aperture is not running in any User Account.

  • How to delete masters from within Aperture

    Hi all,
I have searched the discussion forums for this one, with no luck.
What I want to do is import say 500 images from a shoot, and review them in Aperture.   I will delete 200-300 of them.  I'd like to look at them in Aperture, and if I don't like the image, delete it.  But I want to delete the underlying image file in the filesystem as well.
I have tried File | Delete Original Image and All Versions followed by emptying the Aperture trash and then emptying the system trash.  Does not work.
I am on Aperture 3.5.1 and OSX 10.9.2.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Brian

It's a common mistake If you set the import pane to copy the originals into the library (which is the Aperture default)  then you wind up with two copies of the original and deleting it from Aperture doesn't delete the original original
As a suggestion start off with managed originals, there is less to deal with while you get use to the rest of Aperture. You can always turn the managed originals into referenced originals down the road by using the Aperture command File->Relocate Originals.

  • Ignore this thread - not sure how to delete it

I solved my problem and I'm not sure how to delete this thread.

I'm just a lowly user of Aperture but when I want to compare an original image to the edited one on my screen, I simply hit the keyboard letter "M" on my keyboard.  This reveals the original photo before editing and hitting M again gives you edited version.  I do this in the VIEWER mode to toggle between the two.
You might also try selecting an image while in SPLIT VIEW mode, holding down the command key and selecting a second image...this puts both (or several if you want) images in the viewer in order to compare.
    Hope this helps a little!

  • How can delete my photos on my iPhone once there downloaded onto my laptop

    ?

You can delete the photos from the iPhone directly after import (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083)- iPhoto on your Mac or Aperture will prompt you, if you want to delete the imported photos from the device. If you missed that opportunity, delete the photos on the iPhone by opening the Camera Roll and tapping the trash icon.

Please follow these directions to delete the Mail "sandbox" folder.
    Back up all data.
Triple-click the line below to select it:
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
    Services ▹ Reveal
from the contextual menu.* A Finder window should open with a folder named "com.apple.mail" selected. If it does, move the selected folder — not just its contents — to the Desktop. Leave the Finder window open for now.
Quit and relaunch Mail, and test. If the problem is resolved, you may have to recreate some of your Mail settings. You can then delete the folder you moved and close the Finder window. If you still have the problem, quit Mail again and put the folder back where it was, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Post your results.
Caution: If you change any of the contents of the sandbox, but leave the folder itself in place, Mail may crash or not launch at all. Deleting the whole sandbox will cause it to be rebuilt automatically.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • How to delete photos transferred from mac to iphone ?

I have searched on Google "how to delete photos transferred from mac to iPhone"
It returned the following result :
    To do so just:
In iTunes select the device icon in the Devices List on the left. ...
Choose Sync photos from, being iPhoto or Aperture on a Mac and Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements on a Windows PC.
Choose Select Albums and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
    Click Apply.
But the problem here is that I have deleted the album which I synced via iTunes on Mac.
Now how can deleted those synced photos from my iPhone ?

No. Hook it up to any computer running iTunes. Make sure that you do not have any of the other tabs set up to sync, so that you do not overlay the info you have on your device for Music, Movies, etc., then go the the Music tab and un-check Sync Music. This should remove all sync'd music from your device. (this is presuming that the Mac you sync with does not have any photos you do want to sync with your device. If it does have any photos you want to sync, then instead of turning off the Music syncing altogether, you can just select what you do want to sync, and the sync will remove all other sync'd albums).

  • I received a message to update plug-ins so tried following directions, only to find out my computer is not compatible with the update. How to delete ?

I have an older iMac operating on Mac OSx 10.4. When I attempted to down-load some plug-in updates, they would not accept it because my computer is to old and doesn't have the necessary capability. When I try to remove the message, nothing works, and every time I boot the computer with Firefox, it keeps reloading. Please tell me how to delete this plug-in reminder. Thank you.

You can inspect and modify some prefs on the about:config page to suppress the plugin reminder.
*set the plugins.hide_infobar_for_missing_plugin pref to true
*set the plugins.hide_infobar_for_outdated_plugin pref to true
*set the plugins.update.url pref to an empty string
