Aperture 3: Posting to facebook fan page or group?
Hi all, I could't find an option for this. Is there a way to post galleries in aperture 3 to a facebook fan page instead of to my facebook profile?

The short text status is of a completely different nature than a photo album.
I've also seen this request on other forums for non-Apple products and the answer is always the same: The developers say Facebook does not currently provide a way in their API to communicate with the photo albums on Pages, only on personal Profiles. As far as I can tell, all complaints about this need to go to Facebook.

Does anyone know how to upload photos to a facebook fan page? All I can do is upload to a profile and not a fan page.
There is no iPhoto interface to anthing on Facebook except your photos on your profile page - for anything else export the photo (file men ==> export) and upload using the normal Facebook web upload interface

Can I use iWeb to "beef up" a facebook fan page?
I'm a total novice to publishing web sites but I have used iWeb to create a personal web page which is my only experience. So, my question is... can I use iWeb to put content into a facebook fan page I've created? I have FBML on the page if that helps.
It would be very difficult and definitely not the right program to do it. You would really need a tool that is geared towards generating HTML such as one of these;

Aperture Unauthorized Post to Facebook Timeline
In Aperture I opened the Facebook folder to view what photos were in there. I clicked on a few photos to view them and thought nothing of it. A little while later I'm getting a lot of likes and discovered that a couple of photos were posted to my Facebook timeline. I can't be certain they were the same ones I clicked on but it is at least as likely as not that they were. Am I missing something or is this a bug? I have posted photos to my timeline from Aperture in the past and it plainly indicated that I was making a post. In this case I just viewed the photos in the folder and there was nothing to indicate that they were being posted to my timeline.

Exporting to secondary Facebook fan page
I have a personal Facebook page, and I also administer a fan page. I have the same login information for both (i.e., I am identified by Facebook as the user who administers the fan page). I can upload from iPhoto directly to my personal page, no problem. I can't seem to figure out how to upload to an album in my fan page. Any ideas? Thanks!

I am trying to find newbie- through advanced level tutorials for making fan pages for Facebook. Almost everything I have found is either for FBML, now deprecated, or for somebody's page-making app. I want to learn it myself.

Aperture Stops Posting to Facebook Albums
Hi All:
I have done several searches on this topic, and have yet to see this precise problem. I have several Facebook albums [28]. Aperture sees them all. Up until this week, Aperture had no problem posting additional photos to these albums. But I have the following problem:
1. Aperture 3 fails to add photos to albums [confirmation dialog is active, but no message is returned];
2. Aperture posts to my Wall with no problem;
3. I have deleted the Aperture app from Facebook and reauthenticated it;
4. Neither iPhoto nor iPhoto Exporter is a permitted app on my FB account;
5. I am working with photos from my Aperture library, not my Photo Stream;
6. I have set and re-set the HTTPS settings on FB with no change;
7. I have created new albums on FB from Aperture, but after loading up 1 or 2 photos, Aperture stops loading photos, and refuses to load any more. I can repeat this ad nauseam;
8. I can add photos manually to FB albums, using their web tool, but intertestingly, the file dialog box does not "see" my most recent photo additions to my Aperture library.
This is puzzling. Up until recently, Aperture functioned flawlessly with FB. Not pointing fingers, though my inclination is to blame FB, except for that item #8. Is there potentially something wrong with my APerture library?

Aperture was able to publish new photos to albums, but, and this seems odd, in the FB Add Photos dialog box (in Safari). photos I have added to my library over the last few days do not show up in the dialog box [item #8 above].

TomI don't know a lot about this subject but thought I'd give it a shot to answer. You can use Adobe Encore to create menu systems for your DVD title screen. As far as Flash is concerned I think you can import your animations into Encore's menu system though I'm not exactly sure how. If you want to just make an animation that will be played back without interactivity you would just export your Flash animation as a Quicktime MOV file and import it into After Effects for further editing and finishing. Once you render your mp4 (h.264) from AE you can bring this into Encore to author for your DVD.

These Flash templates always use a conventional text file that you can alter using Wordpad or similar. There are references to variables such as &Name1=YourCompanyName. You are simply supposed to go in and change the value of the company name and save the text file. When you open the associated HTML in a browser the changes are evident. I am not sure how this actually works? The key is that normal folks with no Flash experience are supposed to be able to make a website from a template without using Flash software. I made a change to the above code as follows:

I have experimentsed with this and it accepts the font color and the font size but I never am able to get the actual font to work. It shows up blank when I preview the HTML in a browser. Again, not sure if there is a different font or styles tag that I could be using with the text document? -

Facebook fan page feed not displaying correctly since upgrading to Firefox 17. Code hasn't changed, and it still displays correctly in Internet Explorer. In Firefox 17, the background has gone grey so that the text is no longer visible, and photos of fans are no longer displayed at the bottom. (Issues occur on both my Dell PC/Windows Vista and my MacBook Pro.) Please advise.

I just bought an iphone 5 and am trying to put my facebook page on it, it keeps taking me back to the itune store, and all my passwords are correct, but there is no icon to touch on. SIRI works and posts to my FB page, how do I get the FB page to the phone though?
