Aperture compatibility with Lion 10.7.5

Hello,
Recently upgraded to OS 10.7.5.  Currently running Aperture 2.1.4.  What is the newest version of Aperture compatible with this OS and where can I find it?
Thanks, Eric

1. Aperture 3.4.5.
2. Buy an Aperture 3 package from a source such as Amazon or eBay, install it, and click here.

  • Aperture Compatibility with G4 MDD

For information, Apple has posted an "Aperture Compatibility Checker" application download on the Aperture web pages (under Tech Specs then bottom left corner). It takes a few tries to get this to download. I ran the application and it came back and said my dual 1 ghz MDD upgraded with an ATI 9800 graphics board was NOT compatible. Minimum capability was 1.25 G4. This is a disappointment of course, but saved me $500. I do have a 1.25 G4 Powerbook, though I don't want to use up all my hard drive space with RAW image files.

I posted a question elsewhere about this topic as well. I just upgraded my graphics card to an ATI 9800 Pro precisely so I could run Aperture. Since the system requirement indicate you can run Aperture on a G4 Powerbook with a 1.25 gig processor I figured I'd be fine with a dual 1.25 Power Mac configuration. But, I ran Aperture Checker and it said I could not install the program. This makes so little practical sense I am scratching my head in bewilderment. I'm assuming Aperture will not install at all on my system. So, unless I hear otherwise, I am going to cancel my order. What a drag.

    Hi,
I would check their USB Ports to see if they are working (try another port or another device in that same port)
You could check in System Profiler/Information in Lion.

  • Mid-volume scanner compatibility with Lion?

I haven't been able to find a compatible mid-volume (30-60pp/m) scanner for my MacBook Pro running with Lion. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • Final Cut Pro 3.0 compatibility with Lion

I have a two Apple machines on which I am running OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard.
    1)     27" iMac 2.8Ghz Quad-core Intel Core i7 / 16GB DDR3 PC3-8500 (non-ECC) Memory / Hitachi 2TB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200rpm.
    2)     17" MacBook Pro 3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7 / 8GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM Memory / 750GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200 rpm.
I use the above machines to run Apple and Adobe Professional Applications and Third Party Plug-ins:
    a)     Final Cut Studio Version 3.0
    b)     Logic Studio
    c)     Logic Express 9
    d)     Aperture 3
    e)     Adobe Creative Suite 4 Master Collection
    f)      FileMaker Pro 10
All the aforementioned applications run with no problem on the aforementioned Mac configurations. I wish to migrate to OS X 10.7 Lion. I have been told by many that my configuration will not run my primary application Final Cut Studio version 3 and there will be a myriad of compatibility issues with the four added professional applications I run on my hardware.
My question is; I want  to upgrade Snow Leopard and move to Lion via the App Store.  Will I be able to run Final Cut Studio Version 3.0 and the applications identified above without issue on Lion or will my all my applications be completely incompatable and not run?

  • Is Adobe CS4 compatable with Lion?

Before I install Lion, I would like to find out what software is compatable, especially CS4 (photoshop illustrator InDesign, etc)

There is a link on the Adobe site that says something about 'they are working closely with apple' blah blah blah.  Are you using 10.7.2?  or 10.7?  I'd like to upgrade to a new MBPro but need to know if my software is going to work on it.  Anyone know if the .2 update has fixed the problems with CS4?  Thanks.

  • Office for Mac X compatibility with Lion

    Hi guys,
My company is equipped with Office for Mac X (came out in 2002, fairly obsolete I know), and we're trying to know whether we'll be able to use the software on the new OS Lion (until now, we've been able to use it no matter what new OS we have been using)
    Any clues?
    Thanks

Ask Mircosoft seeing as how they are the ones that produce it?
IMHO the chances are probably slim at best.
I always love companies that are so cheap as to not upgrade their software until forced to do it. Then they whine and moan about the expense and difficulty to do it a decade ot so to late.

  • Office Mac Compatibility With Lion

I'm trying to decide iWork vs Office for school and I have decided I need Office so the file will look the same for someone else. I was wondering if Office supported autosave and other lion features.
Also I was wondering if anyone thinks iWork will work for me.

Office for Mac does not yet support Autosaave & Versions,
iWork will work but get used to saving then exporting the document to a format compatible with MS Office.
Open Office will also open and save MS Office documents and is free.

  • HP B210 compatibility with lion?

I recently upgraded from Snow Leopard OS X v10.6 to Lion OS X v10.7.  In duing so, my scanner applicaiton/driver on my HP B210e printer quit working.   I can still print, but can no longer scan documents to my MAC.  When I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall the HP driver, it returned an error reporting the software was not compatible wiht OSXv10.7.  What is the fix?  I see HP still hasn't updated their driver on line for OS X v10.7 either.  Am I to believe that in order to use my scanner, I'll have to go back to Snow Leopard or use a

As you will see from this article, HP has provided Apple with the printer and scanner driver for this model for Lion and Snow Leopard so that it is available via Software Update. Therefore, instead of using the software that was provided with the AIO or downloaded from HP for 10.6 or earlier, you may need to remove the printer from Print & Scan and trash the HP folder located in /Library/Printers. Also, if you navigate to /Library/Receipts and see a HP package here, trash this also. With the printer and supporting files removed, restart the Mac and then open Print & Scan to add the printer/scanner again. This time the supporting printer and scanner driver should be downloaded from Apple and installed.

  • Aperture compatibility with Fuji S9600

Hi all, I have a FujiFilm S9600. Try as I might I cannot get Aperture to recognise RAW photos I have taken with the camera. The S9600 is the replacement for the S9100, and to be honest I thought the RAW format would be the same as the S3 Pro camera which is supported by Aperture. At the moment I am using the bundled software, making some alterations and then saving the photo as a TIFF and importing it into Aperture. As you can imagine this is rather more longwinded than I had hoped for.
Can anyone help me with this? I would be very grateful.

Hey Dreagor welcome to the forum
    all Raw formats are different
they may have the same file name from the same manufacture (Canon= CR2 Nikon= NEF stuff like that) but between cameras they will be different information
