Aperture Error in Opening

I am runniing Aperture 3.2.3 and Lion 10.7.4  All software are up to date.  Aperture has been working fine until just a few days ago and I got the error messabe below.  Any Ideas
"Check with the developer to make sure Aperture works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any available updates for the application and Mac OS X."
Processor  2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Memory  3 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC
Graphics  ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB
Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53)

None of the above resolved the problems, Same error occurs.  And I deleated Aperture from My purchases like apple support suggested then it would reappear, it did not.  Crash report is as follows

Looking at the crash dump you posted it appears as if one of the apllication libraries got messed up.
    This entry from the dump:
    Dyld Error Message:
    Library not loaded: /Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework/Versions/B/PluginManager
      Referenced from: /Applications/Aperture.app/Contents/MacOS/Aperture
Reason: no suitable image found.  Did find:
If you have a TM backup of the OS volume you could get the PluginManager file out and just copy that  but probably the easiest and quickest thing to do would be to reinstall Lion.

  • HT3805 My Aperture 3 just crashed, i.e., it would not open and showed an error message -1712.  I sent the current version to trash and reinstalled from my A3 disk, but after installing again it still says "Aperture can not open -1712."

My Aperture 3 just crashed...by that I mean it would not open and showed the message: "Aperture 3 cannot open.  -1712."  I have the latest A3 version and had been using it continually for 3 years.  This was the first crash.  And it will not open as often as I tried.
I am using a 13" Macbook Pro with OSX 10.8.5.
I tried sending the A3 application to trash, and reinstalling from my A3 disk.  Install message said "installation successful."  But A3 would still not open and gave same message with -1712.
Any suggestions what I should do or try?
    Thanks

Perhaps your Aperture library was damaged, when Aperture crashed. What where you doing, right before the crash happened?
    - If you installed new software - programs, plug-ins, preferences panels, check, if they are compatible.
    - If you imported new images, you may have imported corrupted files, that crash Aperture.
Can Aperture launch correctly, when you try to open a new Aperture library?
Hold down the options-key, when you launch Aperture and select to create a new library. Import a few images. Does that work?
If Aperture will launch on a new Library, try to repair your current library. Hold down the key-combination option-command ⌥⌘  firmly while double-clicking the Aperture library to open in First Aid Mode. Hold the keys down, until the panel appears, and then try  the First Aid Options in turn.
I have the latest A3 version
Is it Aperture 3.4.5? The latest Aperture 3.5.1 will not work with Mt. Lion.

  • IPhoto and Aperture won't open

    Dear all,
Since a couple of days I've got a huge problem with iPhoto.
Last weak it worked without any issues, but when I installed iDVD to help a friend to create a dvd..I guess iPhoto somehow crashed.
I've tried to reinstall iPhoto but I constantly get the same error.
I get this message while opening iPhoto:
But I've already got the latest updates installed:
Then I tried to install the latest Aperture, because I wanted to try to import the iPhoto library to Aperture in order to save my nicely organised 50 gigabytes (medatada, places, faces, albums e.d.) of photo's.
    But unfortunatly:
I know I can right click the library and copy the masters folder when I choose show package contents, but then I loose all my medadata and clean organisation that I've worked on for a really long time... it's a 50GB library, that's a lot of pictures and I the system and folder structure that the master folder has is very very poor.
Is there any iPhoto guru that can help me with this problem?
    Would be greatly appriciated.

    1. What exact version of iPhoto do you have? If you've just re-installed from disk then
    Go to
    http://support.apple.com/downloads/
Find and download the 9.1 updater. Run it. Then Run Software update again.
    2. You know that there's no need to import the library to Aperture now, just open it with Aperture.
    Regards
    TD

    Help please.

I'm re-installing from a cd.  I have upgraded since Aperture 1.0!!  When I use the install from Aperture 3.0, it won't open my library (because it has been updated to a newer version of Aperture).  So, I tried to open Aperture with the sample library on the disc.  No go.  States I don't have permissions.
I updated the re-installed version of Aperture 3.0 to the current 3.2.3.  I still CANNOT open Aperture.  I seem to be getting the same error message.
I have fixed permissions and all.  My Mac is up to date.  I don't know what else to do.
I have a MacBook Air and Aperture works great on it.  Problem is my huge library is difficult to transfer or duplicate since it is so large.  I think I will just take out my hard drive from my Mac Pro and put it in a desktop enclosure.
I can't even open Aperture from my Vault.

  • Aperture will not open-  HELP!!!

Can anyone help me?  Aperture will not open and I'm worried that I will loose over 35000 photos.  When I try to open Aperture this is the message I get:
There was an error opening the database for the library “/Users/philcammarata/Pictures/Aperture Library.aplibrary”.
Does anyone have any suggestions or am I just screwed?
Looking forward to hearing from someone.
    Phil

OK good, version 2 on Mountain Lion would be dicey.
Do you have backups of the library? If you don;t now would be a good time to make one.
The first step is to run the Aperture library first aid procedures. Hold down the option (alt) and command keys while starting Aperture. This will open the first aid window. Now select and run Library Repair.
Once it is done post back the results.
    Good luck

  • Aperture won't open anymore.

This is going to be a long one. I don't know what I did wrong.
I have a trial version of aperture. I don't know if that means that it will cease to work after a period of time or what. I'm not proud to say that I downloaded it from a torrent site. Okay, shoot me! Maybe it's okay because it was a trial version.
So here is what is going on. Yesterday the CF card from my camera wouldn't load into my computer, and I put it back into the camera and there was nothing on it. Very strange as when I was taking the shots I could see them on my LCD on the camera.
So for all intents and purposes it is empty. I downloaded Untrasher to try and recover the pics on the card. In the download process of the Untrasher, I had to put a copy of it onto an external hard drive. Which I did. And again I'm not sure of any of this because I don't know what I'm doing.
Untrasher recovered some pics on the CF card, but they were ones that had been purposely deleted when aperture asked if I wanted to delete and eject the card from previous download. So Untrasher works pretty good as it recorvered some old stuff. It didn't however recover the stuff I wanted.
So now it is taking up 16 gigs on my external drive. Maybe it is not taking up that space because it is a copy and there is nothing on there, but I JUST DON'T KNOW, AS I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING. I'm not yelling, just emphasizing.
Now I cannot put the "Digicam .dmg" which is what is on my external drive, in the trash. I get an error message saying an error occurred and I can't continue. Error # 1407. What ever that is.
And now Aperture won't open either. I just get the spinning beach ball. I found the original download folder for aperture and re-installed it and the new one won't open either. Have these expired? Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
And how can I put this Digicam .dmg in the trash and get rid of it. It just won't go.
    Thank you for any help.

There's a good chance that the version of Aperture you downloaded isn't legit.  Same thing for the Digicam clone .dmg you downloaded.  These could be filled with programs that could damage your HD and files.
Fist things first - since you're running Snow Leopard, the App Store version of Aperture won't work as it will only work on either Lion or Mountain Lion.  You'll need to decide if you want to upgrade to ML first.  You're alternative is to BUY the retail version of Aperture from someplace like Amazon.
My gut level feeling is that the software you downloaded may have damaged your OS.  My personal recommendation would be to do a clean install of Snow Leopard (after you manually copy all of your data to an external drive that doesn't have any of the crap you downloaded on it).
If you need a good data rescue program, Data Rescue 3 is probably the best.  Yes, it's expensive, but it's saved my butt multiple times (even recovering data from a WinDoze drive).
One more thing...quit downloading stuff from torrent sites!  Buy it legit!

  • Aperture won't open... at all.

i have had an issue with my dear aperture... i bought it from the App store about a month ago... it was working perfectly, until i installed Final Cut Express. Hi,
I have just encountered the same problem after installing FCE4 on my MacBook when Aperture3 was already installed. After much searching I have found that this appears to be a know issue and Apple have posted an article in the Knowledge Base (TS3528).
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3528
I'd purchased Aperture 3 through the App Store, had already tried reinstalling Aperture with no joy. I found applying the OSX 10.6.7 combo update did the trick. Update is available using this link:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1361
    Good luck!

  • Error while opening a report in FRstudio client machine.

Hi,I'm getting below error while opening a report in FRstudio client machine. please help me if any of you resolved this issue earlier.

    thanks

I've seen umarshalling error when there is a difference between the client and server version. Is there a patch applied? I would recommend to uninstall the existing one and install if from Workspace. (this will ensure that you've the correct client version)

  • Error while opening a Data base view

Iam getting error while opening  a database view saying view is not maintained at the database level.
    what i should do

If the object is not "Active" in SE11, then activate it.
If the object is "Active" in SE11, then go to SE14, and enter the name of the view and click "Edit".  On the next screen, I would assume that it says something like,  "Does NOT exist in the database".  If that is the case, you could probably click the "Create Database View" button near the bottom of the screen.  This will then create the view at the DB level.  You should always have to do this, sometimes things have problems when creating the object in SE11, and you have to do the SE14.

    Hi,
According to your description, Please check the RAM allocated to your SQL server. MOSS server needs 2GB RAM
to preform well. SQL requires 2GB RAM for optimum performance.
Messages like this are mainly due to lack of RAM Allocation.

  • Error 500--Internal Server Error while opening a taskflow  in inline popup

    Hi,
I am getting "Error 500--Internal Server Error" while opening a bounded taskflow as a popup from another bounded taskflow containing page fragments. The popup taskflow contains jspx pages. Hi Frank,
Thanks for the reply. I am using it as an inline popup. I am trying to create command links dynamically in an iterator. When a link is clicked a popup window opens. The text of the link is passed to the popup window by creating a variable in the session scope ( I even tried request scope) by an action listener in the backing bean.
I tried to create another simple application with a static command button which passes its text to popup window through a session scope variable. It worked fine. I am not sure why the same procedure is not working in my original application. Can you give me a hint what could possibly go wrong according the exception stack trace ?
    Thanks,
    KK
