Aperture library's have stopped showing in iTunes?

I was trying to set-up a share with iTunes to display the images on my large LCD using my Apple TV. But for some reason the new smart albums I am setting up are no longer showing up in my iTunes Photo Sharing Preferences. I have restarted both apps, restarted my MacBook and tried creating more smart albums and none of them are showing. I have done this multiple times before, now all of the sudden it is not working. The only think that has changed recently on my MacBook is the iPhoto update. Here is a screenshot:

My photos have stopped showing up on my pc from my iPhone. They do still show up on my iPad. I have signed out of iCloud on my pc and then signed in, but that didn't help. Very puzzling. Any help?

The iCloud backup only backs up your camera roll photos, not photo stream photos. Also, photos only remain in photo stream for 30 days. After that they are removed from your photo stream, but will remain on your devices that already have them. If all your photo stream photos are older than 30 days, that would explain why they don't stream to your iPhone 5 even though they are on your iPad.
To get them on your phone, you can use an app like PhotoSync, which will wirelessly transfer photos from any album (including photo stream) between your devices. Alternatively, you can save the photo stream photos to the camera roll on your iPad (by opening the My Photo Stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos to select them, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll), then import them to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), put them in a folder, then select the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync them to your phone.

You could try doing a reset, which is holding down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds, see if you can force it to reboot. However if your iPad won't stay on then you may not be able to do that.
It may be the battery. It may have reached the end of its life. I'd make an appointment at your local apple store and have them check it out

I have bought an (admittedly used) iPod classic 80GB on New Year's this year.For the better part of this month it was working beautifully.I was lucky that I got it.But just a week ago,it started bugging out.It would mount on iTunes and I would drag and drop music and videos on it but could only do it one at a time or it froze.This continued on for a couple days then finally yesterday it won't show on itunes at all.I tried resetting it,changing usb ports but it still wouldn't show except on plugged devices on ''Computer'' and on Finder (I have been trying to make it show on my macbook as well with no luck either)
I ever resorted to trying to remove completely and reinstall iTunes.still won't show and unfortunately for some reason whenever I try to reinstall it now on my windows 7 it says something about it ''missing a key'' and stopping the installation.
Can anyone offer me any solutions?I am growing pretty desperate here as the last time i managed to do a ''drag and drop'' to put my videos and music in it,any movie I dropped into the iPod,even though it shows on the device,it won't play at all -.-
PS.The ipod had been updated and formatted on my windows 7 if that helps any....

I am still having the problem. I have noticed a pattern to the seemingly random freezes.
The iPod is stopping to Sync at almost predictable points during the sync. The first stoppage occurs around the 1.9GB part of the sync. This has not always been the same file but it is always around the same place.
When I sync in small chunks the freeze occurs at almost the same place every time. As soon as it freezes, iTunes is toast and the entire computer needs to be restarted.
Anyways, the freeze happens around every 2GB's of data transferred. It does not have to be in one chunk, it is almost like it is happening on the iPod. Like the iPod is kicking itself out of the sync at certain points along it's hard drive or something. Once it freezes and I restart the computer, I can transfer another 2 GB before it freezes again... then restart, repeat. Finally I was able to load up the 14.8 GB I had in my iTunes. Several hours later... not sure if I should take the iPod back or not. If it is the iPod and that fixes the problem great... but if it is my machine, I get another 3-4 hours syncing and restarting my computer. Wheeee!

Your episode of 7 June appears in the Store, which is quick. However it's not possible to subscribe to the feed; iTunes brings up an error saying it can't connect for an unknown reason. The feed works in FireFox and appears to be OK.
There is no obvious reason for this. We've occasionally seen feed which could be read in iTunes but not in the Store, but not the other way round.
It doesn't appear to be anything to do with the content of the feed. I can only suggest that you ask Podbean to try subscribing and see whether they get the same error, and if so to look at their server logs.

My Aperture library(s) won't show up in System Preferences

I recently installed Aperture and started importing all my pictures into it. I would pick my desktop wallpaper through the Aperture library in the Desktop & Screen Saver preference pane. I started up my Mac today and the Aperture Library showed up as an odd folder that looked similar to this:

I hit the minus button and removed the folder thinking it would reload itself however I was clearly wrong. I can't seem to find a way to get Aperture back into the side pane of the wallpaper selections. My Aperture libraries won't show up, even ones I create. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried rebuilding the libraries, repairing permissions via Disk Utility and Aperture itself.

Okay so exporing images to a new library and then making sure share the previews with ilife preference was enabled seemed to bring back the functionality.

Can you re-factor an Aperture library to have smaller directories?

Is there a way to re-factor an Aperture library bundle so none of its internal directories have more than 32000 entries?
(I'm asking because my Aperture library weighs in at 44GB+ (and that's using referenced images) and so I want to move it to my RAID server. Unfortunately, my RAID server's filesystem, built on ext3, imposes a limit of 32000 entries per directory. One of the sub-directories in my .aplibrary file has 46000+ entries, so the RAID server can't hold the library.)

If your library is on external volume, select the icon of your external Disk on your Desktop or in the "Computer" window in the Finder.
Select "File > Get Info" from the main menu bar or press cmd-I.
Click the padlock icon in the lower right corner of the Info-panel and authorize.
Disclose the "Sharing & Permissions" brick and enable the "Ignore Ownershp" flag.
Also select the library in the Finder and again select "File > Get Info" from the main menu bar. In the "Sharing and Permissions" brick add "Read & Write" privileges for yourself, and give yourself "Read&Write" access, if you do not have it.

Aperture library corrupted - have photos on iPad; how to get them back on my Mac?

My Aperture library became corrupted after a Time Machine restore. For some reason, half the photos are missing and videos are all scrambled.
I still have my complete Aperture library on my new iPad (in iPhoto for iOS). Does anyone know if there is a way to get the photos off my iPad and back onto my Mac so I can restore my complete library? I will never rely on a Time Capsule for Aperture backups again, learned my lesson!

have you tried the usual trouble shooting after restoring your Aperture Library from Time Machine? If you invested a lot of work into your Aperture library I would try first to fix this, before giving up on it.
If your Aperture Library is referenced you probably need to reconnect the missing masters (select the images with missing masters and select File->locate referenced file).
If your Library is managed, the "Aperture Library First Aid Tools "(repairing permissions and repairing/rebuilding the library) may help, see Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3805
Transfer from the iPad (sorry, I do not have an iPad available right now to try it, only an iPod): Do you have Photo Stream enabled? You can transfer via PhotoStream or use the sync cable - Aperture can see the iPad as a camera and import like from a camera, see: Re: Importing photos on iPad to Aperture

You should be syncing your contacts with an app on your computer or cloud service (iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, etc), and not relying on a backup. If you haven't been doing this, start now and then restore your old backup. You will then be able to sync the new contacts back into the phone. However, you will lose all messages, etc newer thant the backup.

Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

How do I get my songs to music library and apps to show in Itunes

Yesterday I had to do a complete fresh install of iTune 10.3.1.55 on my windows 7 64bit machine. Previsouly to performing the fresh install I had my complete music library and iphone apps located on my network storage device drive as follows:

In the itunes perferences, advance tab I have my itunes music folder the same as it was before the clean install

What do I have to do now in order that all my music libaray and iphone apps display again in iTunes.
Additionally how do I get my old playlist display back in the PLAYLIST on itunes.
Once I get them back into itunes will I be able to syn back to my iphone as I had to reset my iphone 3GS back to the default factory setting and need to reinstall my iphone apps and playlists back on the iphone.

I am tryingto create a second itunes library as I need these completly separate. I have looked up how to do this on my PC and holding shift and iTunes does not give me the option to choose library or create new library. Can you tell me where I can get to do this?

In my EMail account my Action Bar have stopped showing

When I log in to my account the Action Bar Buttons, for example: Reply, Forward, etc are not showing on any page and when I go to my Display Settings to add the Buttons once again they are not shown, so I cannot reply to my Email's.
