Aperture only showing a few pictures when selected in Desktop Preferences

Hi,
I'm trying to set a desktop background using my Aperture Library but when I select it in Preferences, only like 12 of my 1000+ images show up. I then click the triangle to expand and go down into individual projects and some don't have anything in them even though they contain hundreds!
Does anyone know how to fix this or reset Desktop Preferences?

It's ok I managed to fix it. Tried unchecking that camera preview box but that didn't help either so I googled how to rebuild the library.
For the benefit of anyone else with this problem -
Hold Option+Cmd while starting Aperture
Tried both fixing permissions and repairing the database but the third option was the solution - rebuilt the database and everything appeared normally in Desktop Prefs again.
Just remember to backup Vault before doing this.

When I email the file it only shows a few paragraphs, but when I go to open it both on my ipad and iphone it crashes the app.
Everything is up to date.

I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
I am running Yosemitie on a iMac.

1, iOS only works on iPhone, iPads or iPods. These drives were probably made with an operating system that preceeded OS X such as OS 7, OS 8 or OS9.
2, No, the data on the Zip Drives is formatted for the Mac.
3, If your reformat them then all of the data is wiped
4, The problem would be that the PC can not read the files as formatted on the zip drive by the Mac
5, There are services that might be able to migrate the data for you but I seriously doubt that Staples or Office Max can do it for you. The services that migrate data charge big bucks so be prepared to pay for it.

When I have watched the tutorials, they are showing a long list of effects in the action box. (with a side space bar) I do not. When I have clicked on the little arrow at top, and clicked "Load Actions", a box comes up, but it is blank,saying "no items match your search". I'm lost! If someone could help, it would be much appreciated! I would like to start using this.

Exactly what did you do and how did you do it? this ay be the cause of your issue but without details we can n=ony guess

Ok - this usually has a simple solution - do you still have a copy of the library that has this problem?

This makes no sense at all - all of your previous statements indicate that you do have an iPhoto library but have some problems with it
By default your iPHoto library is located in your Pictures folder and is named iPhtoo library - if tha tis not the case the you have moved or renamed it and only you know what you did until you tell us the details

Why will my 4S only show up in iTunes when it is connected to the laptop through USB? Even though I have ticked the box for the wifi sync and had no problems with it being plugged into the wall and still showed up in iTunes up until a few days ago. Help please !

Connect your iPhone to your computer and click on it, you should see an option under options for 'sync with this phone over wi-fi' unclick it and it should stop connecting over wifi.

After restoring to factory settings/new iPod you will then have to restore from backup
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Thank you for the information. I did what you said but it is still not working. My apple box works with my wifi so I think the wife was disconnected and I can't figure out where to go to set up the wifi pass word for the apple box. Any hits would be appreciated if not my next step is to ship back the box to apple.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.

I am encountering the same problem. I tested the binding VO in the Business Component Browser, it's fetching the correct result set.

Hi, my new Ipod 4 with IOs6 only shows a few parts of all contend of my mediathek by network access (musicapp).
With remote all is shown, IPhone 4 (IOS5) can see all the Music and works perfectly on th same Itunes PC.
Is this an issue of IOs6?

I have this problem too and the only thing that seems to help is to re-import the CD into iTunes. It corrected the problem. I only seem to have the problem with CDs that I imported into iTunes mysel--not purchased music. Make sure that you click replace so that you don't have the same CD twice in your library.

Are you searching for file names or content? If it's the latter dDownload and run Find Any File to search for the same file names.
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages. If there are files with those file names on the hard drive FAF will find them.
In any case reindex the HD for Spotlight according to this Apple document: Spotlight: How to re-index folders or volumes - Apple Support

I signed on to iCloud, but it only shows the icons for Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Notes, Reminders, Find Phone, Numbers, Pages and Keynotes. Where's everything else ?
I want to delete photos that are on my iphone, by doing so from the computer, not my phone.

What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

Syncing your device with itunes will then enable you to remove whatever photos you wish to remove from your device deleting them with the computer and not the iphone.
