Aperture trial says expired

I just downloaded the Aperture trial, installed it with the key that apple emailed me. After launching the program it says my trial period has expired. Wow that was quick. Not even one day?
Can anyone help. Like to try this program to see if it is worth the upgrade.

Call 1-800-SOS-APPL and Apple's customer service will no doubt work it out for you.
I strongly recommend that Aperture users work through the tutorial CD Apple Pro Training Series: Aperture 2 (Apple Pro Training Series) by Ben Long, Richard Harrington, and Orlando Luna (Paperback - May 8, 2008), $33 at Amazon.com. Without working the tutorial many folks fail to experience the real power of this new killer-app software category.
Note that the value is in the tutorial, not in using the book as a manual. The time spent learning modern digital image capture workflow via the tutorial is invaluable.
Good luck! Have minimum 2 GB RAM on board before trialing Aperture.

  • My trial says expired and it hasn't started

my photoshop trial stared today, downloaded it, says its expired when i try open it

    Hi Emilywaters91,
If the trial version indicates as being expired then it has expired. There is no way to extend the trial.
You can find more details at Adobe trial software expired early -http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/trial-software-expired-early .html.

  • Installing Aperture after trial has expired--effect on project in progress during Aperture trial

My Aperture trial version expired before I finished a photo book. I want to buy the full version now from the App Store.
What do I have to do to make sure my project will still be there where I left off when I get Aperture from the App Store?
Where does my project exist now that my trial has expired? Is it still on my computer and just inaccessible, or is it in the cloud somewhere?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Your projects are part of your Aperture Library (or Aperture Libraries, if you created several); by default the Aperture Library will be stored in the "Pictures" folder in your home folder and called "Aperture Library.aplibrary".
Be sure you have a working backup of this library. It contains all your projects, books, albums,..
To be able to buy Aperture from the App Store you will need to deinstall the Aperture Application from your Applications Folder (move the Aperture.app to the Trash), but keep the Aperture Library. Then you will be able to purchase the Application.

Is it giving you any option to sign in or license this software. If yes click on sign in/License this software to proceed further and activate it. If it is perpetual license activate by entering your serial key and signing in and if it is a subscription then just sign in with your Adobe it an dit will get activated.

I have bought the whole CC and it says my trial has expired. But when i go to license the software, it asks for a serial number and i dont have one. Please help.

Sign out from Creative Cloud and sign in again using email ID using which you had purcahsed subscription:

    1) Right click on the Finder icon on dock and select "Go-To Folder" option.
    2) You will get a text box, type-in below mentioned command and then hit 'Return' key.
    /etc
    3) It will open the etc folder, please look for file named "hosts" and copy the same to Desktop screen.it
4)Double click on Hosts file , it will open it with TextEdit, If present Delete Adobe entries present inside Hosts file like 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com.......etc
5)Copy and paste the Hosts file back to "Etc" folder.

Make sure to select "Replace" option when prompted.

  • Why does my welcome screen say my trial is expired?

i purchased pse 12 and intalled over pse10.. everything was fine.  then i tried to back up my catalog, and the backup stopped at 33%  now the welcome screen says that my trial has expired...  why and how can I fix this and back up my catalog?

can you access the software setup screen.  if so, enter your serial number there.
if not, do you see a download button, if yes, click it and see if you're offered the software setup screen.
if not, do you see any option with the expired trial screen appears?
if all else fails, uninstall it, restart your computer and then reinstall it, but this option should not be exercised unless you have no way to access the software setup screen where you can activate your software again.

Hi, my trial version of Lightroom 5 has recently expired and I have now fully bought it. I have uploaded the CD onto my Mac, but when I open the Lightroom application again, it still says the trial has expired. Does anybody know how I can update it so I can finally use it again? I really appreciate any help!! Thank you!

Joanne please remove your current installation of Photoshop Lightroom using the uninstallers located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
You will then want to download Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1 from Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh.  The update contains the entire application.  Photoshop Lightroom can not be installed through the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application and still be licensed with a serial number.

  • I use a macbook pro. Several months ago I signed up for the Photoshop/lightroom offer and the payments are taken from my bank but I am unable to locate the product. I just get a message saying that my trial is expired. I am really desperate.

  • I have purchased Photoshop Elements 12 but it is now saying my trial has expired?

Exactly 1 year ago I did in fact purchase Photoshop Elements 12 but now when I try to open it, it says that my "trial has expired." This was NOT a trial version, it is a purchased version. How do I access the product I bought now?

  • Photoshop CS6 Trial wont launch (says expired on fresh account)

I'm on a new MBP Retina running OSX 10.8.
I registered new account for Creative Cloud and downloaded Adobe Application Manager to install both Photoshop CS6 and After Effects trials. Only After Effects works, Photoshop says my trial has expired. I tried flushing dns and uninstalling to get rid of any traces of old accounts on my system that may be conflicting.
    What else should I do?

It also only updates to 13.0.2
