Apex 4.1,how create two branches inside the GRID
Hello,
I'm using Apex 4.1, as per the functionality, I need to use interactive report to "SEARCH records", the same will be shown in the GRID. GRID should look like as below,

However there is one requirement, as the last column should have two different branch pages, under Column 5,as below,

Hi,
As I got, you want to link two column into two different pages:
edit your page
edit the report region
at the top of the page, click report attribute
click edit on the column that you would like to add a link to.
go to Column Link
and fill the data that you would like ...

The task that you are trying to perform is not possible via Adobe Reader, You would require Adobe Acrobat to extract the pages from Multi-Page PDF and save it accordingly.

How can I make some pages in a PDF display in single-page view and others in two-page (facing) view?

Exactly as it says on the tin. I am looking to save a PDF magazine/book layout in such a way so that when opened, only the front and back covers open to the viewer in single-page mode, and the rest of the pages in two-page facing mode, without re-printing the in-between pages in booklet format and re-inserting them into a new PDF (with the front and back covers left separate and untouched, and included as single portrait-orientation pages). This is so that individual pages can still be printed (on a physical printer, not a "virtual" one like a PDF driver), as-is without having the page next to it included, or the printouts always requiring landscape orientation (resulting with two "pages" from the PDF showing up on one sheet of paper).
So when the PDF is opened, I want just the front and back cover to be auto-viewed by themselves, and the content (the "meat" of the document) viewed side-by-side, as though one were actually reading a "book" -- but without actually re-doing the content pages to be "fused" side-by-side. Thus creating the "illusion" that they are, in fact, in booklet form. Is this possible, to have different page-display settings for different pages/page ranges in a single PDF? If so, how is this done? If not, what would be my best course of action otherwise to achieve this "virtual" book layout, while still retaining the "physical" structure of the document and allowing individual pages to be printed by themselves rather than "fused" together?

Do I understand correctly that you'd like to extract two pages from a PDF, and then send them via email?
To extract pages from a PDF, you need to use Acrobat. If you don't have Acrobat, you can try it for free for 30 days. Please see http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
I'm not sure what you mean by "enlarge" it. When your recipient views the PDF, they can enlarge the view (zoom in on the PDF) by choosing options from the View menu in Acrobat or Reader.

Branching to a page from a SELECT LIST

Simple question again ! I have a SELECT LIST, and have set up a static LOV with a couple of report names. If a report name is clicked from the list, I want to go to a particular page. I am assuming I need to put a RETURN VALUE in the static LOV, but can't find the syntax to put a branch to a new page in there. Can anyone help ? thanks

You have two report pages - we'll say that they are on Page 11 and Page 12. You want the users to select a report from a select list on Page 10.
So - You have an item on a page called "P10_REPORT" that is a "Select List with Submit". The LOV of this field is a static LOV with a source of "STATIC:Report1;11,Report2;12".
You then have an unconditional branch for Page 10. The Branch Action Page value would then be set to #P10_REPORT#. You do not need to explicitly set the page number - you can use #FIELDNAME# substitutions. Therefore, when the user selects a report, the value of P10_REPORT will be either 11 or 12. The action of selecting the report will submit the page and #P10_REPORT# will be translated to the value in the LOV for the report that the user has picked. This is then used as the page to branch to.

I just purchased this product (acrobat online)
and it is not allowing me to do the things it promised, e.g. saving portions of one pdf to another, combining pages or entire docuements to create, even typing into a document (editing)! I am so frustrated - can someone please help!?

But I jut paid $89.00 for the adobe pack - if I subscribe to Acrobat Plus, will that be credited?

Thank you for your subscription. If you are Acrobat Plus subscriber then you can extract the pages from the PDF file using Tools> Pages> Extract pages.
You can find "Tools" at right top once you open your PDF file in Acroat.
If you are subscriber to PDF Pack then please download Acrobat XI Plus from www.adobe.com.
PDF Pack service offers "Convert to PDF", "Export from PDF"(to Word/PowerPoint/Excel/RTF formats so that you can edit the exported files) and "Combine Files" (combine your files into a single PDF file).
Please let me know if you have any quesitons.

I have two pdf docs that I converted to Word Docs using Acrobat Pro. How do I extract one page from the first doc and insert it into the second doc? When I "select all" it grabs the entire document. I need to take pages out, put other pages in, and edit some of the text.

Try triple-clicking in the text that you want to select--it can sometimes be tricky to select text in a converted document. If that doesn't work, it could be that the PDF document was created from a scanned document, and OCR wasn't enabled when you converted the document. (However, OCR is enabled by default when you convert via the ExportPDF website.)
If you're unable to select text by triple-clicking, let us know. I would be happy to take a closer look at your files.

You will need to find a tutorial for a drop down or cascading menu. What you should try is to Google "AS2 drop down menu tutorial" and "AS2 cascading menu tutorial". You may not find exactly what you are describing, but will hopefully find something you can figure out how to adapt to meet your goals.

Calling Apex page from Oracle Forms

I haven't managed to find a similar thread anywhere.
I would like to call an apex page from a form. The page is in an app that requires authetication.
I can able to open the page by using web.show_document but that only takes me to the login page.
How can I overpass the authentication by passing somehow the username and password?
Is there any similar or easier way to do what I am after?

You could try the BRANCH_TO_PAGE_ACCEPT URL functionality. There are a few threads on this subject - for example: Re: authentication with credentials from another domain? I haven't used this myself, but if you do a search on the forum for this, you may find other threads that can help.

I’ve wanted to do the following for the last seven years but I don’t even know whattools to use, what direction to go.
Page1 contains an accordion, each panel has different design logos, Page2 also contains an accordion, each panel has different product items. Each of the logos in Page1 is available for each of the products in Page2. If price depends only on the product in Page2 regardless of which design logo that goes with the product. Now I’ve created two pages(Page1 for design and Page2 for product). I would like to have a shopping cartthat would allow the ordering of a product with a particular design.
How do I select a design on Page1 AND a product on Page2 and display the two selected items side by side in Page3? Allow for the ordering of the item with a shopping cart or by email would be great.
If there were 100 designs and if there were 100 products, the permutation would be 10,000. Each time a design is added or each time a product is added, there would be 100 new permutations. If a product has 5 different color, adding a just one new product would create 500 additional permutations. Since the price depends only on the product and not the design, what would be an efficient way to do this?

You are best off using a database to store the products. The information from your database can be transformed in XML format ready to be used by the SpryXMLDataSet
Actually, I have answered your questions in a general fashion only to show that it can be done. The questions however are of such a nature that it goes beyond the scope of this forum, even though most of it can be done using the Spry Framework. There are ready made products both commercial and free of charge, the latter that comes to mind is eCommerce while Webassist eCart falls into the first category. Google the subject to find out more.
