Apex Datepicker showing incorrect time

Hello,
In an Apex application, the datepicker component is showing a default sysdate as (sysdate+1 hr. eg: DB value is 10:30 and datepicker shows as 11:30). I assume this is because of day light saving issue. Could some one help me if there's any configuration that can be done to get the exact sysdate value in the datepicker?
Ram.

Check the Globalization attributes of application and server time.. ..sysdate should be server time - check the timezone on server side.

widget world clock shows incorrect time.. how can i fix this?

There are two possibilities: (1) your computer's time is wrong. Open System Preferences, select the Date & Time tab, and either set the time manually or select a time server. If you choose the time server click on the Time Zone tab and choose your correct time zone. (2) click on the i on the World Clock widget and select a city near you (that's in the same time zone as yours.)

  • Logviewer 1.14 showing incorrect times, and other issues.

Couple of issues with running LogViewer, wondering if anyone can help.
First, and seems to be the most frustrating, is that the LogViewer screen is showing incorrect times for the events. I am in Mountain Time zone in the US, which is GMT-7. When looking at the log from a web browser, my router is displaying the correct time. The text file that LogViewer saves on the local computer shows the same correct time. The LogViewer screen, however, shows a time 7 hours into the future. IE, if I type out the log from a DOS window, the last event will say something like "Mar 28 1:15:05 2008", but that same event number will be listed on the logviewer screen as "Mar 28 8:15:05" Any ideas on what may be wrong and how to correct it?
Second, all events seem to be grouped exactly 3 minutes apart. I realize this is probably an effect of the router sending the information every three minutes. Anyone know of a way of changing that period?
Hm, just noticed a third, but very minor issue. The text file written has the wrong day of week on it. It's listing Mar 28 2008 as a Wednesday...
Thanks in advance for any advice.
OK, the tech info. I am running LogViewer 1.14 on a Windows XP machine, contacting an WRT55AG with firmware 1.20. The connection is through a Cat 5 cable, not through the wireless.

  • It shows incorrect time in time zone iphone 4s!! If i select 'set automatically' the london time show is wrong, how do i correct this?

It shows incorrect time in time zone on my iphone 4s!! If i select 'set automatically' the London time, is wrong, how do i correct this?

I recently got the same problem and noticed that it only started after I'd downloaded a particular app which used the location feature.  It was the free version of the Weather Channel that started it off and, since I've deleted it, I've not had the problem of being in Singapore or China since!
I expect there will be other apps that cause the same issues - probably a bad piece of code being used to pick up the location function.  It might be worth trying to turn individual apps off that feature in location services to pinpoint which other apps may causing your problem.
    Hope this helps!

  • IPhone 5c keeps showing incorrect times.

My Iphone 5c shows an incorrect time, i tried a few things including resetting the phone. I have changed the time manually but after an hour or so the time just randomly changes. This is very frustrating and makes the phone useless to use as an alarm clock. I am sure it has to be a software issues but have tried syncing and like i said i have even done a hard reset but all to no avail!...Please help..is driving me mad.

    How far is it off?
    Always the same amount off?
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:

  • CUIC Reports Show Incorrect Time

We have a single node UCCX 9.0.2 environment that we recently switched over from HRC to CUIC (co-resident) for reporting.
While running some test reports I noticed that the times listed in the reports are off by several hours (see screenshots).  I have checked the time zone setting everywhere I can think of, and it's also happening to anyone that runs the report rather than just one person.  I have the time zone set to America/Chicago for each user (although I've also tried CST and US/Central).  The UCCX server is set to Central Standard Time and it gets it's time from an NTP server.  Checking NTP status on the server shows that the server's time is dead on.
I feel like this is the type of thing that an incorrect setting would cause, but I can't think of any other way that this could be set wrong.
I did find a bug (https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCur41928) relating to time zone issues that is known to affect our version, but from what I can tell it doesn't apply to us.  We're already set to the time zone that the workaround would have us set.  I was going to apply the workaround anyway just to see if it made a difference, but I'll have to re-host our license if I do that.

    Hi,
The user should not have any timezone set. It should be set as blank. Also under the Datasources, check the UCCX Datasource and Edit. Ensure that the timezone is GMT.
Basically CUIC should not have any timezone set. It will pull the information from the CCX timezone which is CST in your case. In the event of any timezone settings on CUIC, you will have issues.
The options are for standalone CUIC so leave it at default.

  • Battery shows incorrect time and no notification on low battery

    Hi everyone,
I have just purchased a new battery, of course its not an original one. The problem is that my battery meter shows the percentage incorrectly. Like it says 42% remaining, but suddenly my laptop got in to hibernation (as i set the action to perform upon low battery level reaches). Now what can be the issue? As the battery new and its working fine, i mean its giving me backup of 2+ hours. Oh, and my laptop is DV6-2157wm with Windows 7 Home Editions (64-bit).
Waiting for your kind suggestions and tips.
    Take care,
    Regards
    Fahad Ali

    Please have a look here.
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Battery-meter-frequently-asked-questions
Why does the time remaining on the battery meter change drastically sometimes?
Battery life depends primarily on two things: what you do on the mobile PC while it's running on battery power, and the power plan settings that control the computer's use of power. The mobile PC's power consumption varies constantly, depending on your particular activity and how long you spend on that activity. For instance, watching a DVD consumes considerably more battery power than reading and writing e-mail. For these reasons, the battery meter often lags in reporting the charge and the estimated time remaining.
hence battery meter is never so accurate. older the battery, chances are more of sudden drop.

  • When setting the split-days to "every 15 minutes," the week and comparison views show incorrect time ranges for the day

When I change the "split-days" interval time, under Options > Settings, to
15, or every 15 minutes, the week and comparison views don't show the correct
    time range for the day.
    <P>
For example, if I click View to display the calendar and then click Week to get
a weekly view, the time range displayed is from 6:00 a.m.
to 4:00 p.m. If I click Comparison to get a
comparison view, the time range displayed is from 12 p.m.
    to 6:45 p.m.
    <P>
In this example, should both of these views show the same time range, from
    9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.?
No, the two views will not necessarily show the same time range. The time
range for the comparison view will start at the beginning prefs time only
if you have something scheduled (on any day of the week) starting at that
time. For example, on one of the days during your week of comparison, if you
create an event that starts at 9:00 a.m. and then open the comparison view, the
time range displayed will start with 9:00 a.m.
    <P>
Additionally, view times will expand past the configured settings if events
span past the time range. That is, if you have an event that spans from
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the event will be reflected in the view, even though
your time range may be set to go only to 6:00 p.m.

    Umm yes.
The settings are stored in ''prefs.js'', so you could swap various copies of this file in and out.
However, the system will load ''prefs.js'', then, if present, ''user.js'' , so you can set up just your changes in ''user.js'' .
The sort of line you need to look for is like this:
    <code>user_pref("mail.server.server14.check_time", 10);</code>
You'll need to do some research to identify which of your accounts is which.
Search for the account's email address:
    <code>user_pref("mail.identity.id10.useremail", "xenos&#64;example.com");</code>
Use the id number to locate the account number:
    <code>user_pref("mail.account.account29.identities", "id10");</code>
Use the account number to find the server number:
    <code>user_pref("mail.account.account29.server", "server14");</code>
Finally, you can then use the server number find the account's time setting:
    <code>user_pref("mail.server.server14.check_time", 10);</code>
This last entry may not exist, if you have never changed the setting from the default 10 minutes.
Do be careful with your typing and copy/pasting; if the file fails the syntax parser it will silently fail.
And make sure Thunderbird is shut down when you do the swap. If it's open, it may overwrite changes, and in any case, it only reads the settings file when it starts up.

  • IPhone 5 Showing incorrect Time. Unable to send text messages.

Ok here's my problem. My time on my iPhone is incorrect. I check my settings it's on automatic and it is set to my Hawaii time zone. I am unable to send text messages because I believe the time is not the same as the server. When I try to send a text it says Go to Date &amp; time settings. This happens at least once a day. My time would be incorrect for 10 mins then go back to correct time. This happens on LTE and on WiFi. I also have rebooted the iPhone. One last thing. I check my battery usage. It's says 4,294,967,278 days on Standby. I guess the time is messing up my stats. Anyone have the same problem? Please help. If not I hope new ios update fix this.

My house is in an area that is covered by 3G.  But I work in an area that is 4G-LTE.  (Actually, my house is right on the border of these coverages because I notice it switching from 3G to LTE periodically.)
Anyway, what I notice is that when I switch from the LTE to 3G network, my iPhone 5 clock gets corrupted.  It's 2h22m off.  Weird.  It doesn't do it right away, but after I'm home for awhile, I'll notice that the clock has been changed.  I know this corruption causes errors in my iMessage app because I've gotten an error message about it.  It may cause errors in others.
Once I leave my house and go back into stable LTE coverage, I can do one of the following to correct the clock (because it won't autocorrect):
    - turn the phone off and then back on
    - go to Settings => General => Date&Time and switch "Set Automatically" off and then back on
These fixes will also work if I stay in 3G coverage.
This has happened every day since I got the phone so I know it's a real bug.  I'm sending a support request to Apple today.  Otherwise, however, I love my iPhone 5 and LTE speed makes all the difference.

  • Login Window clock shows incorrect time, clock time fixes itself after log in...

    Good Evening,
This morning I turned on my MacBook Pro and while I was typing my password to log in, I noticed that the time in the login window clock had a wrong setting. The time displayed was 4 hours delayed in relation to my time zone. However, after logging into my user account I looked and the menu bar and when the clock got displayed, the correct time of my time zone appeared.
I don't know what could have caused this issue. The only thing I know is that yesterday evening, I was using my MacBook Pro with Windows 7 via Bootcamp and used it for a prolonged time (about 5 hours), and then shutdown the computer and did not touch the computer until this morning. Could these issues be related? I know OS X and Windows measure their times differently because the former OS calculates time in relation to UTC and the latter OS calculates the time using the actual zone you have specified in the time settings.
Other than that the issue has not manifested itself again since this morning but I haven't booted into Windows just yet.
    Thanks for your time!

Make sure the time and date are correct.
Open System Preferences > Date & Time then select the Date & Time tab.
Select:   Set date and time automatically
Then select the Time Zone tab.
Select:  Set time zone automatically using current location
If that doesn't help, open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
    ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systemuiserver.plist
Click Go then move the coml.apple.systemuiserver.plist file to the Trash.

  • S4 Chooses incorrect time zone when set to automatic

My S4, and my son's, are choosing the incorrect time zone when the phones are set to choose automatically.
The phones were working and my son noticed his was off earlier in the week and mine seems to have developed the same issue sometime last evening.
They are both choosing Central Time and should be choosing Mountain Time.
Location services are enabled on both (GPS & Verizon as well as Google Wi-Fi)
I've launched my phone in Safe Mode and the issue still occurs
On my son's we chose to set time zone manually which works, but it reset itself to automatic later and returned to being incorrect.
    Thanks for any help.

On my phone I believe it was the day I posted here (April 14th) on his a couple days prior to that.
Both had 'fixed' themselves until his changed back a couple days ago
No new apps, latest update applied to both phones (after his was already showing incorrect time).
Also of note, 3 other S4's in the household that do not have the issue(...yet?)
As mine is currently working I don't suppose there's a need for me to run in safe mode, but I will pass the instructions on to him
