APEX_ITEM on Interactive Report losing all the data.
Hi!
I'm having some troubles with some apex_items on interactive report.
The problem happens when i save the interactive report with apex_items and a validation in some of the items fail then i lose all the data entered.
I made i test application to you guys see the problem and try to solve it.

A example to test is type on the fields values and then type a start date bigger then the end date this is cause a validation error and you will see all your data entered lost.
I tryed to find something on the web but i could not find nothing if you guys know something to help post it.

I think there is a solution with java or pl/sql.
Try to use the example application and type values in the fields and then type "d" at some date. This will cause a exception and will redirect to a apex erro page, if you click at "ok link", you will come back to the interactive report page and you will see that all your data remains intact.

Everytime I try to update to iOS5 on my iPhone 4 I get an error containing 0xE while it is backing up data from the iPhone before installing the new operating system. I have done everything suggested in Apple support with no success. I still get the error everytime (about 5 minutes into backing up iPhone data). I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first. -

If you have any photo stream photos on your old phone that you want to keep you might want to save them to the camera roll, then import them to your computer (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) before deleting the account. The reason for this is that photo stream photos are only kept in iCloud for 30 days. When you enable photo stream on your new phone you will only receive photo stream photos from the last 30 days as older photos are no longer in iCloud.

As the title says, my previous macbook broke, and now I have a new computer...PC :/ and I can't sync my iphone 4s to the computer properly wihtout losing the data on the iphone. It says i have to wipe my iphone.
Only iTunes content and any photos transferred from the computer that was used for syncing the iPhone.
Transfer your iTunes library from your computer's backup which should include other important data such as documents and photos, etc. -
Can I start a new itunes without losing all the data on my phone and the progress on my apps?
I want to break off of the family account my iDevices have been attached to since 2005. All of my phone's data is in my own personal iCloud on my email, and I created an itunes account on the same email. I know I'll probably lose all of my songs, but can I salvage app progress and text messages? Or does home sharing allow me to not get all the music they have downloaded on my account? I'm really confused by all of this but I know I need to break off the account eventually.
iDevices are designed to sync to only one computer/library.
Attempts to sync to a different computer/library will replace the content that currently exists on the device with content from the new computer.
Bottom line, you WILL lose the content on the device. -
How do i update my iPad without losing all the data?
whenever i want to update my ipad, it tells me that in order to update to ios 5 i must delete all of the data and i dont want to.
If you are still on iOS 4, then the update to iOS 5 should automatically backup your content, wipe the device and install iOS 5.1, and then restore your content from that backup.
To try and limit any potential issues with the update, first copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. You should also backup the device (right-click the iPad 'device' and select 'back up'), and copy off any important documents, files, notes etc (e.g. by email, the file sharing section at the bottom of the Apps tab in iTunes, wifi, whatever the apps that you use support) - the update process should backup and restore the content but it's best to be safe.

How to update with a custom build without losing all the data?
I have a ZTE Open I regularly update with custom builds. Every time I do this, I lose all of my data on the phone, such as contacts, installed apps from the Market store, settings (including wireless and email settings).
Recovering all of this data and settings every time is extremely annoying. Is there a way not to lose them in the process, or to save them and repristining them afterwards?Thanks, Ralph!
I tried the backup_restore_profile.sh tool and apparently it worked great: I backed up my data, flashed my old build on the device (which erased all of my data) and then restored everithing, including installed apps and settings.
I will try this with a new FFOS version (like 2.1) before declaring the problem completely solved.
EDIT: I'm not going to try flashing FFOS 2.1 on the ZTE Open anymore, since I'm now a proud owner of a Flame. The backup_restore_profile.sh tool seemed to work pretty well though, so I will mark the question as solved without further tests. -
I have a new laptop and i have authorized it with my apple ID but I can't sync my iphone with it because it is currently synced to another computer. Every time I try and sync my music it comes up with the message ' are you sure you want to remove existing music, films, tv programmes,books and tones from this iphone and sync with this itunes library' which i DONOT want to do! Also on my laptop none of my apps are there so I would assume i would lose all of those from my Iphone as well!
Please help, looked at other threads and all they suggest is to click on 'transfer purchases' but this is not an option anywhere on itunes..!

How can I sync my iPhone to a new library without losing all the data on the phone?
I recently switched computers as the old one had died but I can't transfer any of my music from the iTunes to the new phone. Is there any way I can backup the phone and then sync it with the new library and somehow restore all my app's etc?

How can I sync my iPhone 4 with a new MacBook Pro without losing all my data and settings?
I used to sync my iPhone 4 with a PC running Windows XP until the hard drive died. Thankfully, I already had a backup of all my iTunes media (Songs, TV Shows, Movies, Podcasts, Apps, etc), so when I bought a new MacBook Pro, transferring my iTunes library was easy.
My problem now is that I want to sync my iPhone 4 with my new MacBook Pro without losing all the data and settings. I have already used iTunes to back it up and transfered my purchases onto the mac. I just need help to sync the iPhone with the Mac without losing app data, emails, contacts, settings.
Everytime I click on the tabs (to sync contacts, apps, music, et al), I get an error message that reads:
"Are you sure you want to sync apps? All existing apps and their data on the iPhone “Ryan's iPhone” will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library."
What do I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My computer is starting to fail so I bought a new one. How do I sync my ipods they are 6 gen to the new computer with out losing all the data that is on the ipod?
Was your iPod previously set up to Manually Manage (where you dragged/dropped the music) or was it set to auto sync (where it started sycning as soon as you plugged it in.)?
If it was set to Manual, you have no worries. Just continue on your way.
If it was set to Auto, you will have to transfer your purchases or redownload them from the iTunes store.
You're either going to have to get the other music back from the websites/CDs you got them from before or find an iPod ripping software program that will do it for you. -

BI publisher report is not showing all the data

I have created a report using BI Publisher in R12. The report is not showing all the records.
I have checked the result XML it is also not having all the data. My query returns 846 rows but my report only has 662 rows.
what might be the issue.please give me some idea to resolve this issue.
