APEX_MAIL.SEND and Bulk Emails

I am planning to use APEX_MAIL.SEND_MAIL to send out 5000 - 10000 emails within our company with our Apex application that we have developed. Does anyone know if the APEX_MAIL can handle the load? Are there any suggestions to handle this?

Are you going to put in your to parameter the 5000-10000 emails? I expect that might be a problem as it's a varchar2.
But you can loop and send the mails. I've never done such big mail blasts, but for ex. in DG Tournament I did around 500 without a problem. You'll see your mail queue will start to grow and it will be pushed every 10 minutes. I'm not sure if the queue can become full, otherwise you can push your queue manually every so often. So I expect it to work, apex_mail isn't doing anything fancy...
But try it and tell us if it worked ;-)

Exchange 2007 - User's mailbox disappeared in EMC but they can still send and receive email

We have a user that was complaining about not being in the address book anymore. After I did a little rooting around in management console I noticed that their mailbox was no longer listed under Recipient Configuration -> Mailbox, but what's weirder
is I can do a search and find her listed in the results - at which point I can right-click her name and do everything I normally can with no problem. Listing all of the mailboxes with PS shows her still there too. As far as I know, she is the only user
having this problem.
She can send and receive email just fine, but like I said, she is no longer in the global address list so other users have trouble sending her stuff. At her computer, I tried repairing her email (under account settings) but the process would fail when
searching for her settings. I don't know if this is a stupid thing to add, but I did run Clean-MailboxDatabase on our first storage group to see if her mailbox had been deleted or disconnected or whatnot but nothing is currently showing up in Recipient
Configuration -> Disconnected Mailbox.
Some info on our setup:
Exchange 2007 on Windows Server 2003r2
AD is on Windows Server 2008r2
Her computer is running Outlook 2010
I did restart our Exchange server 2 days ago to update VMWare tools, but no Windows updates were installed. She couldn't tell me exactly when this problem started, but it was more-than-likely in the last couple of days as she was recently married and
I had to change her name in AD and Exchange - so everything was confirmed 100% functioning 2-3 weeks ago.
I'm at a lost for what the issue could be, but then again Exchange isn't exactly my forte, so any help would be much appreciated.

First things first - is her mailbox hidden from address lists? Run
Get-Mailbox <alias> | Fl HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled to find out. It probably isn't, but we need to clear this, just in case.
Now, assuming it is not hidden, have you searched for both her maiden and married names in your directory? Often, when the name on a mailbox is changed, the display name is not - and vice versa. Also, has her email address also changed?
If so, has a secondary proxy address been added to reflect her maiden name? I'd do this, just to be sure things aren't lost that should be delivered to her.
I can't think of anything else obvious right now. After you've checked these things, get back to us with their results.

in Exchange server.

For a mail server to work correctly you need few records in your external DNS. Most important is MX..
All entries to be done at DNS registrar
1.Create an A record mail.domain.com(common name) which points to your external IP of exchange.
2.You should add MX mail.domain.com
3.Then point the IP(added in step1) to exchange server. Which you have to do in router/firewall.
4. Create an A record autodiscover.domain.com both internal and external which points to IP of exchnge
5. Finally create a SPF/TXT record.
To send email you need to create a send connector

Unable to send and receive email for external domain

Hi,
I just installed Exchange Server on my 2K8 domain controller. I have set up the send connector and made necessary changes to the receive connector as well. I have updated the DNS records as well on my domain registrar. I can access OWA from outside my companies
network and is able to send and receive emails for my domain but unable to send or receive emails to any other domain. I have checked the delivery report and it says that the message has been queued on the server.
I also did nslookup. Results mentioned below:

According to your description, I notice that you installed Exchange server on a DC.
It is not recommended to install Exchange server on a DC. I suggest install Exchange server on a member server. More details to see:

About your issue, cannot send and receive externally, I suggest make sure the DNS can be resolved first.
Then, check whether Outlook Anywhere has been enabled. If not, please enable it on both Exchange server and Outlook client side.
Last, try to configure both Send Connector and Receive Connector.
More detailed error message will be helpful for the further troubleshooting.

Send and recieving emails

Are there some VI's that give the posibility to send and reciev emails?

The internet toolkit has vi's that allow you to send email pragmatically. It does not include vi's to receive emails. I did, however, find some utilities on NI's site that allows you to receive mail in the POP protocol. Both work well.

I think it's trying to open it in a gMail eMail & is losing your gMail password that it needs log into gMail, but not 100% positive.
Have you tried Right clicking or Control+click on the eMail link & choose Copy? Works on some, not others.

Mail (5.3) OS X 10.7.5 mail program crashing when opening an email with attachment. Any suggestions out there? I can open the mail program...send and receive emails...click on emails without attachments with no problem.

I am having a problem successfully opening an email containing attachment. I can open the mail program...send and receive emails...and view emails that do not contain attachments. But whenever I click on an email containing an attachment, I get the spinning beach ball for a few seconds and then the entire program closes. Any suggestions before I make a one hour trip to the Apple store for help?

I don't think an interactive portion of a PDF is an obscure problem (lots of designers I know use rollable PDF files for emailing 3D models) and while I understand that it's in a legacy program, there is no guarantee if I purchase Acrobat X, that the same problem won't exist. It's no an issue in Reader 10 but then again, it wasn't an issue in Reader 9 either. Since Adobe doesn't give trial versions for Mac (stupid), I have no way of checking this. The problem doesn't annoy me as much as being an Adobe product user who upgraded only to not have functionality and not have a way to have it resolved.

there is another question in Exchange 2013, when i tired to the send and receive email by using POP3, the outlook always popup a windows ,the error message is "ERR Logon Failure, Unknown user name or password ". I can fully confirm that the username
and password is correct.
The Exchange confguration as below,
POP3 : 995 SSL
SMTP : 587 TLS

My send and receive email works fine over wi-fi in the US but when I am in Europe I can only receive emails. My iPad tells me that the emails i have typed have been sent (the whooshing sound) yet they are never received. Anyone have any ideas please?

In the US, my iPad 2 sends and recieves email over wi-fi without problems, yet when I am in Europe, I can receive emails over wi-fi without issue, yet the emails that I send (get the whooshing sound) never arrive.
I have input a valid local smtp address yet that still get no results.
Has anyone had the same issue and found a workable solution please?

Who is your email provider?
If you use an independent email provider (not tied to any specific ISP) such as GMail or iCloud, you'll have no problems sending email from any location or network, without having to change any outgoing SMTP servers to local ones.
