With Apex you can easily upload a file to the database. Write a stored procedure to write the BLOB to file after the upload.

Turn off your iPad and put it in recovery mode. Try to restore it via iTunes.

Hi Sandesh,
this is simply not supported, not in WebDynpro nor in standard HTML.
A workaround is to upload a ZIP with all files and on server side unpack the ZIP and operate on the single files.

As you know using File upload UI element we can upload only one file at a time. There may be a scenario where user may want to upload any no of files at a time which is not determined at design time. This can be acheived using the ACF UpDownload UI element which requires a security whiltelist to be created

Why is the upload screen not appearing?

Hello All.
I have made another topic post about this topic, however the solution for that is not working. I am using a Macbook Pro running OS X Mavericks. iPhoto recognizes this camera, however on iMovie, an upload screen on iMovie, which is supposed to show up, is not showing up to upload videos. What steps or series of steps should I do in order to make this work?

But it sounds like you're using a "still" camera that also records video

Upoading files file images are too small to see on file upload screen

Upon wanting to send photos or files via email when i come to the file upload screen the images are very small and almost impossible to see.this is affecting both safari and firefox.how can i make the images larger so i can see what files i am actually uploading?

I am not sure I was clear enough. (EDIT Some testing before finally posting this does show some strangeness)
I was suggesting that in the View Options bit you set the Size to what you want (Before using the Upload site) so that when (and If) you change the View in the Pop Up screen to Icon View the icons are big enough. (See note below though)
List and Column views do show very small Icons that cannot be changed in size, hence the need to use the Icon view and possibly a Naming convention that helps if the pics are very similar like the pic I posted (a whole series of iChat Preferences pics) or possibly deciding before Uploading and creating a sub folder of just the ones to be uploaded.
NOTE:- However I also checked if I set the Icon View in the Finder first to 128 X 128 and then used Google Mail to Add an Attachment the Pop up, view as it were, keeps to the size in the pic I posted.
I will also try Quitting Firefox just in case it is holding some old info.
I will also try Safari

Tried Safari and the Icons are a default size it seems.
Zoom Only makes the selection (of Pics) window bigger/full screen, hiding the Browser (Alt Key and Zoom reduces it again).
Also tried setting the View Options at the Desktop Level (Have yet to use it as the Default)

IOS 6 upload just crashed 2 ipods on 2 different computers with 1602 error - anyone know how to recover. Ipods are both locked in upload screen.

I have 2 ipods which are individually synced to 2 different computers using 2 different apple account id's. Both crashed during the IOS 6 update with the same indication and message. error code 1602 and message that there was an unknown error during the update. In both cases, the ipods are stuck in the upload screen even if I power cycle them and niether computer will recognize them any more.

Error 1604
This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.
Error 1600, 1601, 1602
Follow the steps listed above for Error 1604. This error may also be resolved by disabling, deactivating, or uninstalling third-party security, antivirus, and firewall software. See steps in this article for details on troubleshooting security software.
Also try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Upload screen is all I can see?

Upload screen stops, and locks. Can't do anything but shut it down, then white upload screen with Apple icon in middle, starts to show upload progress bar, then, STOPS completely.??? I've restarted it a number of times, all with same results. I think I may have been updating to 10.10.3, but I thought that was already done?

Sorry to hear that you cannot boot up your iMac to see your desktop. To troubleshoot this, take a look at the article below to see about getting it back up. I would also make sure that you have a safe copy of your data so you do not lose anything while trying to sort this out.

If you want to order print, cards etc. to Shutterfly then please follow below steps.
Order photo prints to Shutterfly.
1. Select images in catalog
2. Go to Create --> Photo Prints.
Order Photobook, Greeting cards to Shutterfly:
1. Select images in catalog
2. Go to Create --> Photobook/Greeting Card etc.
3. Select a template and Order

Oracle apex upload images ajax CLOB_CONTENT not filled

I'm working with 4.2.5.00.08 on Oracle 12.1.0.2- 64 on Windows.
What am I doing wrong with this code.
I created a HTML5- dropbox to upload an image
This "always" worked, but now I don't seem to get it working again.
To be exact: the C001 column of the CLOB_CONTENT stays empty.
I have the feeling I'm overlooking something, but I can't put my finger on it.

Problem with uploading screen recording to YouTube

when I record my screen in QT and want to upload the video to youtube by Share->youtube, the uploaded video on youtube has first 3-5 seconds damaged. Why that happen? How can I avoid it?

Screen Customizations for Contract Upload and Attachment Upload Screens

Hello,
We currently have multiple screen customization to the Master Agreement screens using (Object Name: Master Agreement UI ID: contracts.contract.ui.buyside.default Parent Class ID:1004)
My question is about making screen customizations to (Contracts tab -> Upload Document) and Attachments screen (clicking the attachments icon). I cannot seem to make page customization on these screens. I tried (Object Name:Contract Document Transitional Bo UI ID: common.contractdocument.transitional.ui.buyside.default Parent Class ID:2002)
Any suggestions?

Could not find a way to do this

Configuring APEX in oracle 11.1.0.7.0: apex admin screen is blank

I am trying to configure apex in a oracle 11g (11.1.0.7.0) and after running the apxconf script and unlocking the anonymous account, I get blank screen for http://hostname:8080/apex/apex_admin
same behavior for http://hostname:8080/apex
Any ideas on how to get past this?

I installed Oracle 11.1.0.7.0 with APEX 3.2 about a month ago. I have been using Apex successfully to create an application. 3 days ago my pc was rebooted because Windows Media Player had used all the memory.
After the reboot, the Apex logon page is no longer available. I can't access the images folder, the logon page or the admin page I just get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".
I have spent the last 3 days trawling the web for a solution but can't seem to find any answers to a similar problem,
No changes have been made to the pc other than the above, can anybody help me diagnose it?

I have just read above about the shared servers parameter
show parameter shared_server
returns shared_servers integer 1
I can connect to the database via Sqlplus and it continues to function correctly.
I have tried accessing:

http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex
and with /apex_admin
Can anybody give me any more help to diagnose this?

Apex blank screen

I have an existing LAMP server running Ubuntu and Apache. I serve a web site off of it, I have it setup for virtual domains, 2 different domains run off of it.
I installed Oracle 10g Express and APEX 4.1 per the instructions and restarted Apache, actually the whole server. I have Ubuntu 10.04 Linux.
when I go to:
http://local-ip-address:8080/apex/
it goes to this automatically:
http://local-ip-address:8080/apex/f?p=4550:1:2446690683392226
the tab in the web browser says: Application Express Login, but the screen in the web browser is blank, and I see nothing. I tried on a few web browsers and the same thing, what could be wrong, what am I doing wrong ?

I did the exec command and I fixed the images problem, but it still won't load using real ip address or hostname, just the local LAN IP address..
I tried adding the real IP, but then it stops working all together, once I comment it out with the #, it works back again..
with each change I stop and start the listener..
Is my /etc/hosts the problem ?

About how to upload screen photos in a post

I use these forums many times. Sometimes, I would like to upload an screen photo in my post in order to explain better what I´m asking, but I don´t find the way.
Please, can anybody tell me how to do it ?

Create a Screen Shot of the image you wish to post.
Upload the image to an online storage facility, like one of these linked to below.
Flickr
ImageShack
PhotoBucket
Twango
Then use HTML formatting, to insert the URL of the location.
Use this format <img src="Insert URL Here">
Keep the images small, and unobtrusive, when possible.
You can also just post a Link/URL, to the image location, using this format:
<a href="Insert URL Here">Type Title Here</a>

Adding Property MetaData to Upload screen

Hi,
I would like to add some Property Metadata for documents that I upload to the KM.
I have managed to created a new tab with all my properties, but I would like to have some of these properties on the first screen of the upload process, meening, near the name & description of the file - and not inside a different tab.
Any suggestions how to add properties near the name and description of the file.

<b>Creation of Property Metadata:</b>
navigate to: System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management -> Global Services -> Property Metadata.
This would give you all the properties that are linked with content management.
When you check Details of any document, the properties (modified date, created date, etc) all exist in the above mentioned Property Metadata.
If exists, you can use the property.

Assuming that it does exist then how should you add this property such that its visible/accessing in Document details:
Navigate to => System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management -> Global Services -> Property Structures.
The tabs that you see in Document details are all placed in tabs.
If you want your property to be placed in a different one, then create your tab, add your property and add this tab in the all_groups tab.
