Never mind. Supoprt got back to and said that it's not supported. It looks like I'll have to wait for the next release of OEM before I can effectively monitor 10.2 with Grid Control..

I don't know how to "could you please check if you configured the directory for the static contents ("images") correctly"
because the Installation Guide of Oracle about Install Apex in standalone mode do not tell me to configure images any more. Blank Page due to component configuration

I was trying to create a component config for a SAP standard Webdynpro component. I did not save anything but after a short while when I execure the appication, it just shows a blank page. Whatever, I tried after that did not get me the display. I created a new 'Z' applicaion to that and now I can see the display when I run the new application. It still shows a blank page if I execute SAP standard application.
Did anyone experience anyhting like that? How can I get back the original display for the standard application?

Hp 3510 prints only blank pages from i-pad, but works fine with xp configured lap top. why? help!

i have an hp3510 wireless printer that worked fine with both my i-pad and on my laptop when 1st installed. now it will only print blank pages with the i-pad although it still works fine when using my xp configured laptop. can anyone tell me how to correct the i-pad problem so that i can print wirelessly using that device?

I would start by powering down the Apple device, make sure that you hold the power button down, and slide the bar on the screen to "Off". If you have more that 1 iOS device that you use with the printer (like another iPad or an iPhone) power them down at the same time. Then turn them all back on and try to print to the printer.
If still having a problem, I would then power down the printer, router, and Apple device.
1. Unplug the router, (most do not have an on/off button)
2. power down printer and Apple device
3. Wait about 20-30 seconds
4. Plug router back in and wait for it to be fully operational and all the light on it back as they were before unplugging it.
5.Power printer and apple device back on (check to settings of iPad to make sure that it is still on the same network as printer and that "Ask to join other networks" is ON).
6. Reattempt to print

The report engine add a blank page at the end of report

I have configured a group with the option "New page after" checked. The problem of that seems the engine add a new blank page at final of report. Exists some way for avoid that? Perhaps is possible add a formula for don´t allow that when is in the last page?

When i try to open a tab a Yahoo search page comes-up, i just want a blank page.

Crystal report viewer are displaying blank page after deploying in web server

Dear friends,
                   i have designed crystal report (in VS2010 & CRRuntime_64bit_13_0_6 installed in web server) it's working fine in local machine even web server also but in http://localhost, if i change from localhost to my domain name or local IP address(like http://192.168.1.71) then it's getting blank page.
but same report if i open in pdf format it's working fine.
I have tried the following one. But this is not working for me.
Copy the entire Crystal Report Support folder
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\aspnet_client\system_web\4_0_30319\crystalreportviewers13
in web.config, the below code also added.

Server errors result in blank pages with security enabled

I have been working to security-enable my ADF 11 application using JDeveloper 11.1.1.0.0. Users, roles and grants all appear to be working as expected. However, I have discovered that server errors no longer appear once I put security in place.
For example, take a simple JSPX page with one button, and attach an actionListener to the button. In the actionListener, throw an exception. When no ADF security is in place, this results in a 500 server error page, and the exception stack trace (or part of it) is written to the Weblogic console inside JDeveloper. Once ADF security is in place, the behavior changes. The result is a blank page (absolutely no content). Even worse, the exception stack trace is no longer written to the Weblogic console.
I have tried to work around this by setting an <error-page> in web.xml, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I do know that my <error-page> configuration works in general, because I have a "not authorized" error page set up to catch the ADF AuthorizationException, and that is displayed properly. I have also seen the error page invoked for errors that happen earlier in the rendering process (for instance, if I forget to set a default page in my bounded task flow).
I don't have any idea where to start on this. Google hasn't been much help, possibly I don't know what I'm looking for.
Anyone have any suggestions?

We have found a solution to this problem, which we are going to go with until something better pops up.
In the main unbounded task flow (adfc-config), we added a method call marked as the error-handler. In the method call, we log the exception, something like this:
    public void handleException() {
        Exception e = ControllerContextImpl.getInstance().getCurrentViewPort().getExceptionData();
        e.printStackTrace(System.err);
    }Then, the method call forwards to a JSP to display the error:
<af:inputText label="Error" value="#{controllerContext.currentViewPort.exceptionData.message}"/>That gets us the equivalent of the old behavior.
I still find it kind of strange that errors aren't displayed once security is enabled, but at least there is a workaround.

Opening a pdf in safari just gives me a blank page

hi all,
when i try to open a pdf in safari it just opens a blank page. from the docs its supposed to open the pdf inline as part of safari but this doesn't work for me
is there a setting i need to adjust to make this happen?
i'm running safari 2.0.3 on tiger 10.4.5 with a 6month old powerbook.

corrects things in Safari that the stand alone does not.
Did you repair premissions before and after the up-date?
Did you turn off your firewall?
Safari: PDFs now open directly in Safari instead of in Preview
When using the latest version of Safari with Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger," PDF links that you click will now open directly in the Safari window for your viewing convenience. Before Tiger, PDFs would open in Preview.
If you still prefer Preview, simply Control-click the PDF link (or right click on a two-button mouse) and choose Download Linked File from the shortcut menu. Once the file is on your desktop, double-click it to open in Preview.
Notes:
In addition to Control-clicking the link and selecting Download Linked File as described above, you also have the choice of using Option-click on the link to shortcut the process even further.
If you do open a PDF in a Safari window, you can Control-click on the PDF itself and choose Open with Preview.
Due to certain server configurations, some PDFs will still download to your desktop instead of opening in a Safari window.
If you use a third-party PDF plug-in for Safari, it will block Safari's built-in PDF support.

Blank page on backing bean exception

When there is exception in the backing bean, a blank page is displayed. I was expecting response with status code 500. When I debug the http response the status code is 200. I have configured the webapp to display error page on status code 500. Since it is not returning status code 500, this page is not displayed.
In web.xml

Blank page after installing htmldb 1.6

I have installed htmldb 1.6 with a 9.2.0.5 database on SuSE Enterprise 9, but can't seem to get it working.
I get a blank page when going to http://localhost:7785/pls/htmldb. When going to ps://localhost:7788/pls/htmldb/htmldb_login, I get an error in my browser: "The connection to localhost:7788 has terminated unexpectedly. Some data may have been transferred."
I had to do a few things to get this far (eg: no errors on install of htmldb, but 100+ packages were invalid and I had to compile them all). I had to add the following comments in my Apache/conf/httpd.conf file:

So the configuration file for JServ may not be correct, is that it? Which one?
I turned up logging on the jserv, and got the following, but I don't know that this is related (the secret key is disabled, I think)...:

Thanks, I was not aware of that. I removed the reference to the Jserv config file in the httpd.conf file, restarted Apache, and still get the same error. And every time I try to go to either htmldb or htmldb_login page, I still get a blank page, and the error_log for Apache shows:

Adobe Reader 9.3.4 intermittently prints or prints blank pages

We are encountering a problem with workstations in our environment where users can occasionally print PDF files successfully but often (more than 50% of the time) nothing prints or 10-20 blank pages print. On the workstation, no error messages appear on screen at any time and no errors related to this issue appear in the Event Log. In the System Tray, the print icon appears and disappears normally. If I watch the print queue, the job passes and appears like it printed successfully and the queue clears. We've also run into a few instances where only a half page prints or half of a page prints (when printing as image) but is shrunken and centered on page.
The users have multiple configurations regarding printers. All have at least one Xerox printer installed and various combinations or HP, Brother and Canon printers for use while off network. The users experience this issue when printing from their workstations to any of these printers. We have tried PS, PCL6 and Universal print drivers for each of the printer to no effect. We have uninstalled Adobe Reader and reinstalled multiple times. We tested using a base 9.0.0, 9.3.3 and after update to 9.3.4 and the same problem existed. We did clear out the folders and any stray registry entries between uninstall/reinstall. We also cleared off all print drivers and reinstalled only one driver just to test and still experienced the problem.
We have tried the "print as image" suggestion and received the same results. We've tried setting the printing preference (Print/Advanced) to Send For Each Page to no effect. We've disabled all advanced features in the print drivers -- same issue.
All of our workstations are on Windows XP SP3. On the machines we're actively troubleshooting this problem on, we have confirmed Windows Updates have been applied through the August 2010 patches. Our environment is fairly vanilla -- WinXP SP3, Office 2003, HP workstations. Problem occurs when printing PDFs from email attachments, from web pages or when saved locally. The problem also occurs on workstations at unrelated business units so it isn't a case where one batch of bad images/installs rolled out. We use direct (IP) printing and not network print servers/queues.
If anyone can provide any assistance, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Print jobs come out as blank pages with Windows 7, Bonjour & Canon iP4700

Hi there,
I have a Macbook Pro with OSX 10.6.1 and have a Canon iP4700 inkjet printer connected to this via USB and this works fine.
I've shared the printer from the Mac so that I can print to it from a Dell laptop on the same home network which is running Windows 7 RC.
I've installed the Canon print driver (I used the one for Vista as it was the closest match) on the Windows 7 laptop, then I installed Bonjour. I used the 'Add a printer' shortcut icon on the desktop and it saw the Canon printer and I added it.
I thought all was working well, except whenever I try and print to the printer form the Windows 7 laptop, it just prints a blank page instead of the text I have on the page.
Has anyone got any advice for getting this working properly?

I had the same problem, however I am running XP. Also, I was using a separate program to manage my wireless connection on my PC called 'Wireless Configuration Utility'. I simply disabled this utility and used the Wireless Network Connection utility that came with Windows and the problem was solved.

Blank page shown when Jive Forum is started

Hi,
we got a blank page when the Forum is started.
Configuration of iViews is fine. Problem only occurs when forum is called when using browsers that have more security restrictions.
Strange enough the SDN forum works fine in those case, but not our own forum.
Are there ways to solve this?
Why is this blocked? Do we need java run time? Or do we have to allow scripting in the browser?

Now I've read the threads about this problem in the forum but no luck so far... I just think it's strange that one app. works and a copy of it doesn't... I've also tried to make a new b2b-app. from scratch and still no luck...
Can anybody help me out?
