First, to prevent this from happening again, turn off "In App purchases" in the Restrictions settings on your iPad. You may also want to turn off the ability to install apps, to prevent purchases in case the child gets hold of your iTunes Store account information, and set the password to be required immediately. They're usually pretty lenient in the case of inadvertent purchases by children. No guarantees, though, just as if your child was in a store and ate a bunch of food (in other words, something that can't just be returned).

Can't update credit card details for recurring pay...

I'm trying to update my grandma's Skype credit card details to the new credit card details (same numbers just new expiry date) for her recurring payments on Skype. I follow all the prompts but the final step requires Mastercard to verify the card with an online bank account which she doesn't have and has no intention of getting which means there is no way to update her credit card details for the recurring payments. How do we solve this problem? Thanks

It looks like the payment details are being rejected. Please check this with your card issuer before trying to update them again. The phone number for Australia is 1800 614 863.

someone on this forum that has more brains than the online chat support do?
I have been trying for 4 days to get someone to find out why the change credit card details URL link is missing from my manage account area. I keep getting told the same thing over and over again...below is an example of the most recent conversation i had this morning...this is absolutely flaming useless...i should have ended the conversation before he got past the first line...

My younger brother had the same problem. You have to go into settings, app store, details and then change your credit card details to none. If there is no none option, you will have to use a different apple id.

It's in the article. You must first sign-out your current account, then go to App store to purchase a Free App. It will ask you to either Sign in or create a new AppleID. That's when you start creating a new AppleaID and NONE will be available as a payment option.

Only when BC tries to bill the card and can not. Admin will be locked out and when they try to go to the admin the form requesting payment appears and they can add their new details in there.

When you change the credit card details (and possibly your name and address) then you will be charged a small temporary holding charge to check that card details are valid and that the card is active - it should disappear off your account within a few days (though with the weekend coming up it might take an extra day or two)

I just paid for in-app credit and purchase failed so i tried 8 more times. then i finally put in my credit card details to my account, just charged me 9 dollars but didnt get the credit in the game?
