Is there API or an interface available in 11.5.10 that will allow a return line/RMA to be received? The documentation for the receiving interface says that returns or receiving against RMAs is not supported.

Need API or interface table for manufacturer & mfr part

We are developing integration that would push data to following base tables.
1.     mtl_item_categories
2.     mtl_manufacturers
3.     mtl_mfg_part_numbers
We could find interface table for category but nothing for manufacturers and manufacturer part.
Let me know any API or open interface table that can be used in Apps 11.5.9 and above. Thanks in advance.

API or interface table to create releases for a blanket purchase agreement

I need to know if Oracle provides a standard API or interface table to create releases for a blanket purchase agreement.
I tried using the release_num field in PO_HEADERS_INTERFACE, PO_LINES_INTERFACE. But this is not working.
I'm able to create the blanket purchase agreement using the open interfaces, but not the releases.

Hi Alister,
You can't create a release of a BPA through API, there is no such APIs provided by oracle.
Where as you can create a BPA by using API. You need to dump/poplulate data in PO_headers_interface & PO_Lines_intreface table.. Then use Purchasing Documents Open Interface API to create a BPA.

We have a requirement to migrate the data from legacy system to Oracle Apps.
We are given with a data file containing sourcing rules and assignment set information which needs to be assigned to assignment sets.
Are there any APIs or interface tables to assign the sourcing rule to Assignment set?

Error when writing to interface table for HR

We recently did a client copy from Production to our User Testing client. User was trying to enter time via transaction CAT2 but received the following message when attempting to save the timesheet:
"Error when writing to interface table for HR"
Does anyone have advice on how to resolve this issue?

We tried to add many records to HR via a job but it result with en error message LR036 (Error when writing to interface table for HR)

Documentation on Interface tables for lease management

Hi i found out the following interface tables for lease management
but couldn't find any documentation or information of the mandatory columns to be populated in these tables
is there any documentation provided in R12 for the following tables?

etrm is more generic..
i would like to know the validations that are performed on the columns
the concurrent programs which does the import of data from these tables to base tables
something which oracle provides for interface tables in their user guides or implementation guide. (Example for GL_INTERFACE the column level validations are given in GL user guide).
i couldnt find such document for lease management.

Interface and Base tables for Receiving Transaction Processor Program

Hi Everyone,
My requirement is to move data from staging table to rcv interface tables and then run Receiving transaction processor program. How will in know what interface tables i need to insert data into? and after I run the concurrent program what are the base tables that i need to check to confirm?

RCV_HEADERS_INTERFACE
RCV_TRANSACTIONS_INTERFACE
If you have serial numbers or lot numbers for the receipts, then you need to insert into
RCV_SERIALS_INTERFACE
RCV_LOTS_INTERFACE
Once the transactions are processed, you will see records in
RCV_SHIPMENT_HEADERS
RCV_SHIPMENT_LINES

CRM Open Interface Tables for Integrating with CRM

HI all, We are evaluating integration with CRM from Telco Billing system. The TRMs of CRM talk about using some published open Interface table in CRM. I could not find any TRM or User manual where I can get this info.

When converting customers in R12.1, is it best to use TCA APIs or the ra_customer interface tables and customer import import

There was not interface / api for Uom conversions in 11.5.10.2.

Open Interface Table for iExpense Template

Where can I find the table name of the Open Interface for uploading master records of GL, AR, AP, FA? I can only find the name to upload journal entries and AR, AP Invoice. Can someone advise me where can I find the open interface tables list for master records?
In particular, I would like to upload the Expense Item Template for Internet Expense of AP. I want to update the items by SQL Loader. (not the entries or transactions but master records of existing item code in the Expense template)

R12 Interface table for loading data from 3rd part payroll system

Hi All,
Can anyone help me to have a lists and detailed technical information of available interface table on Oracle R12 for importing/loading data from third party payroll system. And what should be the best way of importing the data? It should be load first to AP then to GL or load it directly to GL?

Can you please let us know your business requirements of this integration, i.e what business want to acheive out of this integration.
It depends on what your business requirements are wether to send only accounting information from payroll system to your Oracle GL ( then you can integrate Payroll system to Oracle GL directly, by sending the accounting information from your payroll) or if your requirement is to create payroll related invoices in AP and then do payments in oracle AP and then pass accounting information to GL ( then integrate your payroll to AP)

Any interface table for Importing Item catalog data

Item catalog data needs to be moved from oracle 11.0.3 instance to Oracle 11i Instance.

I have given the requirement below.
When data need to be Migrated from one instance to another,one of the method followed is to collect data from old instance and put the data into staging table of new instance.After validation data from staging table will be transfered to the Interface table.After this a standard program is run to populate in the base table.
For item catalog is there any such interface table available? or is there any way to populate the base table in 11i instance?
