APN Settings automatically changed

After putting the new settings in API it changed after a period to Vodafone settings automatically, this thing happens constantly.
iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular
OS: 5.1.1

Dealing with this for nearly 6 months. Irritating as ****. I tried on the American apple site for anything and nothing even remotely related that I found.
The problem is it is designed for and as a mobile device so the ability to change your APN at will is a must, why I can't understand is it keeps changing for sure but I suspect that our mobile network I think if you travel between an area and it is predominantly another service provider dominated it might try to change to keep linked. I. don't know.

I'm in condominium where I got internet by a line and I need to configure a proxy to allow safari or firefox to work. using safari when I go to preferences (cmd I go to advanced then internet settings and when It brings me to network settings of the ethernet line I have to write the proxy and the port.
I do it and when I close and apply changes and come back to safari still NO WAY
So I came back to see the options (maybe I have made a mistake somewhere and I see that the password of the proxy is NO LONGER THE SAME....
I cannot know what is written coze it's crypted but I know that the pass of my proxy had only six (6) keys while the crypted key that I see are around fifteen (15)
I've tried also to set firefox working with the proxy it doesn't work...
NOTICE that I'm writing to u from the other partition of my mac: windows
by internet explorer (where I've put the same settings I did in safari and firefox) and It works so DON'T tell that the settings are wrong

If I remember correctly, there are small icons in the bottom right of every setting in every service window. Like, say, for AFP - look in the bottom right of the window, click and hold this little icon and drag it to the desktop. This is the settings for that window in that service. Back them up to an external HD, flash drive, etc.
To replace, Apple advised me to set up a clean install of server with NO changes during the set-up. DO NOT set up anything at this time. Then, after the final reboot and blank server are staring you in the face, drag these files back to the window of the service they came from and Presto! You should be back in business.

Service desk settings, automatic email status message change

I'm working at Solution Manager 7.0 SP16. I've configured and working Service Desk scenario and it works. Now I'm trying configure automatic email at status change of messages, but It doesn't work
I'm following spro transaction, and SAP Note 691393. I am configuring Service Desk Specific Scenario Settings -> Automatic Email at status change.
I've checked:
- SCOT is correctly configured and working OK.
- Business partners emails are mantained.
I made the configuration suggested as described SAP Note 691303 SAP Tutor. Following SAP Tutor I go to transaction sppfcadm->select crm_order->botton "define action profile and actions"->Action Profile(left view) and SLFN0001_ADVANCED(right view)->mode change->new entry...   I follow the next slides at SAP Tutor.
At the end, when I check results, I go to the support message (transaction crm_dno_monitor) to edit-> Fast Entry->service process->status->In process and I press button save. So I go to Transaction data->Actions but any about the send mail action
Please could you help me??

The settings that I've defined at the start condition are:
Transaction sppfcadm->select CRM_ORDER->button "Condition Configuration"->button technical names on->select action AI_SDK_STANDARD(double click)->change edit mode->right frame button create and select the new condition "Send an email to the author when status of message changes"->start condition tab->button edit condition->Name: Zsend_email->Condition definition:User status->Operators "="->constant "status profile"->SLFN0001 "Service Desk Status header"->Status E0002 "In process"->boton transfer condition->save button. At the end I have:
&CRM Service Process.User    =
Status&                                  E0002SLFN0001
I create a new support message (help->create support message) -> transaction crm_dno_monitor->open the support message just created->button change->fast entry->service process-> status->In process->button save
In order to test I go to Transaction data->Actions:
I've a line: wth a red circle, Action="send an email to author when status of message has changed" and start condition:
&CRM Service Process.User      =
Status&                                    E0002SLFC0001
Please could you help me?

Service Desk Settings, Automatic Email at status change of messages

Hello experts,
I need your help about this:
I am configuring Service Desk Specific Scenario Settings -> Automatic Email at status change.
I made the configuration suggested as described SAP Note 691303. Also I configured the status profile SLFN0001 in transaction DNO_CUST01, and the Action profile SLFN0001_STANDARD, both for the SLF1 (Service basis message), but still when we change the status of messages, the email is not generated in SCOT, overview of send orders.
I want to clarify that the configuration made for the action of send email was in transsaction SPPFCADM, selected DNO_NOTIF, and push Define Action Profile and Actions, then selected the Action profile SLFN0001_STANDARD for making he ocnfiguration as suggested in note 691303.
SCOT is correctly configured and working OK.
Business partners emails are mantained too.

Have you assign proper partner function to every status in action?
I do not know where can I make this assigment. I am thinking that this may be the cause. Please I kindly ask you to give me orientation about this.
Have you defined condition for defined action?
Yes, the condition was defined thru SPPFCADM. Now, I wonder if this must be configured for CRM_ORDER application as described in note 691303, or for DNO_NOTIF ??
Have you maintained user deatils on identification tab in BP?
Yes, the Business partners and emails adresses were correctly mantained.
The configuration we are talking about and you want to change, is it regarding SLFN (Service Desk Messages) or SLF1 (Basis Service Message)?
I supose that for Service desk messages we must configure SLFN, and not SLF1. Right?
In DNO_CUST01, we have SLF1. We have not made any configuration in DNO_CUST04, it is still as original standard. Please let me know if we are right.
You want to send an aut. email notification when status of SLF1 changes?
We want to send email notifications to the message creator about the status change of service desk messages.

Hi, I have been reading a lot about my problem on this forum and on other BB-forums. I hope someone can help me because the historic forum-answers were quite depressing. . . I bought my new BB Q10 - without a simcard - last week from a well known Dutch webshop. I inserted my Rabo Mobiel simcard that I used in my BB curve. With the BB Curve and this simcard I have been emailing and browsing the internet for 3 years without problems. I can call and text with the BBQ10 but I can't get the internet working. The APN settings were already filled on this BB Q10 - unfortunately not with the APN name from Rabo Mobiel. It says: portalmmm.nl which is probably 'pre-installed' by Blackberry Holland and it is one of the APN names of the KPN provider in Holland. I can change the "portalmmm.nl" into "Rabo" but then I need to set Verification Type to PAP and that is not possible. The Verification field is greyed out and I cannot change it. I tried many ways and even tried to access the escreen:// option (which I couldn't get working) . I made phonecalls to Rabo Mobiel (they say they didn't change anything and no, they use no username and password for APN, only Rabo as account name), to the webshop (no we don't know who installs our Blackberries) and KPN (they gave me the telephone number of Blackberry but I can't get any one on the phone there!). The webshop says: please return your phone. But I know the next BBq10 will probably have the same problem. So can someone - preferably a Blackberry Technician - help me? HT1212 iPad2 3G - MTN - "no service" or "searching" - have restored, have tested 3G in other iPad - working fine. Tried another 3G card, same error. Reset network settings, restarted and hard boot, changed apn settings, reset apn settings ...... Sugges

Tried this 3G card on another iPad - working fine - no problems.

UPDATE #2:
I chatted with Ashley from Apple Support yesterday and she suggested me to restore the phone and set it up AS NEW, NOT restore from backup.
And it worked!
Of course, you have to back up everything, but I have my contacts, notes, and pictures on iCloud. All I did was merge them back to the phone from iCloud Setting.
One downside: you'll lose all text messages. But it's worth it.

I have an unlocked UK iPhone5 on T-Mobile, and can't for the life of me find the APN settings.
There is no 'Settings --> General --> Mobile Data scroll down a little -- Mobile data network' option
& as someone on another thread suggested, there is no option to change settings under the Cellular button either!
Please help!

First are you sure that the phone can use the UK system, the radio frequencies for India and UK might not be the same for the data, I know that BlackBerry is not sending the same model to middle-east/asia or europe as the one for north america

I recently bought a iphone 4 and transfered my straight talk number.
More the less, my iphone is on straight talk.
The only problem is the IOS doesn't allow me to change my APN settings. Anyone able to help? Otherwise I'm going to just call up technical support, I pay for data so I'm determined to get it working!

I'm not sure if this will be of help to anybody.
but I was able to bypass (or trick) AT&T restrictions on APN settings:
by inserting my old net10 T-mobile SIM card, which allows me access to
APN settings. While "inside" the APN settings i SWITCHED from t-mobile to AT&T
SIM card. the APN settings' window remained open and then I was able to change to my desired APN settings.
i want to mention that the only issue I had was sending PICTURE messages.
I had access to the web with Net10's downloaded APN settings:         iapnupdatetfdata.net10.com

My brother used his Verizon Wireless SIM to activate my factory unlocked iphone 5s. Now, I can't access the cellular data network option to change APN settings for my new carrier. Already tried configuration utility and factory resets.

So as the title says, after I got my iPhone 5s from apple, factory unlocked, my brother used his sim card in it for a moment to allow it to be registered and usable on WIFI until I made it to Japan. Now that I have a data SIM card, I have to input specific APN settings, which are located in settings>cellular>cellular data network, however, cellular data network is not available as an option. I have reset the phone multiple times with and without backups and with and without the new sim in the phone. I have also used the configuration utility to try to put the APN settings in the phone. I contacted Apple and they didn't really have an answer as to what i should do. My brother checked his Verizon account and my phone does not show up as one of his devices, so right now I'm stuck with and incredibly expensive iPod. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to remedy this? I am unable to contact Verizon via telephone myself as I have no phone service. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

You only have to clone your mac when using certain cable modem. You don't clone your mac when using dsl.
