APO SPP: No Historical Forecast visible in transaction /SAPAPO/SPPFCSTTRACK

Hello
I am trying to view historical forecast data via transaction /SAPAPO/SPPFCSTTRACK in APO SPP. However i get the message "No hist. fcst time series can be determined".
The forecast strategy is correctly assigned to the product & the standard deviation period is populated as 12 months.
The forecast periodicity is months.
When I execute the forecast using planning service manager or interactively, it correctly calculates the forecast in future as well as ex post forecast in the past. I believe the historical forecast is calculated immediately with the forecast run.
Can anyone help to identify if some setting is missed or any specific planning service is required to be executed to enable historical forecasting. Thanks in advance

Hi,
If the transaction /SAPAPO/SPPFCSTTRACK does not provide any information regarding Historical Forecast data (while you have already performed the forecast for the certain location product) then you probably haven't created a new forecast with a different model. For example, if you created the first forecast with Moving Average then you need to change the Forecast Strategy to an another one (or run Automatic Model Selection which should also select a different strategy). In case when the new Forecast Strategy differs to the previous one, then the appropriate trigger (SPP_FCSTMODEL_CHANGE) will be created for recalculation of the Historical Forecast. Of course, if the trigger is created, you also need to run a PSM service for the recalculation which should be configured for the location product you need to process.
(You can find more information regarding this [here|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/43/300e47bd9e2227e10000000a422035/frameset.htm].)

  • Unable to see demand history in APO SPP via transaction /SAPAPO/SPPMDH

    Hello
We are trying to view aggregated sales history data in APO SPP via transaction /SAPAPO/SPPMDH
We have loaded sales order data from flat file into DSO 9ARAWDAT & infocube 9ADEMAND. We can see the data in the cubes & also via the standard queries attached to 9ADEMAND cube.
Also we are able to adjust sales order item level data via transaction /SAPAPO/SPPMRD: Adjust Raw Data .
However we are unable to see any data when we try to adjust aggregated demand history via transaction /SAPAPO/SPPMDH.
The replenishment indicator is stocked & the forecast periodicity is maintained as well.
Could you please let us know if anything is missing? Thanks in advance

    Hello,
Check this stuff (from help.sap.com) we had a quite similar issue, until we've fixed it:
For the demand categories we defined to be in your system, you have transferred the DataSources 9ADEM_CAT and 9ADEM_CAT_TXT as well as InfoSources 9ADEM_CAT and 9ADEM_CAT_TXT to the Business intelligence system (BI system) in SAP SCM and activated them. You have transferred the following InfoPackages for these InfoSources:
    ●      Load Master Data from APO
    ●      Load Texts for Demand Categories from APO
    Note
Each time you change the relevant for forecast indicator of a demand category, you have to reactivate the master data of characteristic 9ADEM_CAT.

  • Can't See Historical Forecast in SPP

    Hi
We have loaded the sales order data using a flat file.We were able to load the data into the cube 9ADEMAND (but not into the ODS 9ARAWDAT).
We are also able to see the demand data in the forecasting planning book and even forecast is also getting generated.
The problems  which  we are facing are
    1. Standard Deviation of Demand, MAD etc are all 0.
    2. Not able to see Historical Forecast ( tcode /SAPAPO/SPPFCSTTARK) . The error message says " No historical forecast time series can be determined".
Can anybody tell us what could be the problem ?
    Thanks in Advance

We are having a similar issue, could you provide the configuration done to the planning profile for recalculation of historical forecast?

  • Recalculation of historical forecast is taking very long- SAP SPP

    Hi,
We are running re calculation of historical forecast for 1500 parts for 4 locations for 24 months. It took some 90 hrs and is still running.
Should it take this long. Can anyone help on this?

which Forecast strategy are you using ? 90 hrs is way too long for 1500 parts. I would suggest you stop the job and check the log on whether it is one part that is causing the problem. Does the log show that the Forecast has completed for any part at all ? How long does it take to run one part in background ?

  • Historical Workorder Visibility for Equipment

Hello - I have a question related to historical workorder visibility for equipment.  The scenario below should explain what I'm looking for.  Hope you can either tell me how to do it or explain why it can't be done!
We want to be able to see, within the workorder, the history of orders for each piece of equipment.  With the 'primary' piece of equipment (that piece of equipment entered on the initial screen when creating a workorder or listed in the Header tab of the workorder), this is not a problem and we see all historical orders associated with that piece of equipment.  HOWEVER, for the 'secondary' pieces of equipment, those that are listed on the objects tab in the workorder, we cannot see any history.  These pieces of equipment are listed in the workorder as needing maintenance, also.  What are we doing wrong or what configuration do we need to set so that the workorder history can be viewed within THAT workorder for each piece of equipment listed?  Is it possible?  Maybe it's not possible for the "secondary" pieces of equipment.  That's what I need to know.
    Thanks for your responses!
    Susan

    Hi Susan,
You say that the order list for the ref.object (primary piece of equip.) can be seen in the work order. This is through the object info and from there branching to Display PM orders transaction, right? If so, then the order list for the equipment in the object list also can be viewed. Double clicking on the equipment will take you to the equip.master and in that screen, under Environment click on orders then the system will navigate to the Display PM orders transaction again.
Please correct me if I got you wrong.
    Thanks
    Ravi

  • BADI / User Exit for APO Order transaction /SAPAPO/SNPTLB

    Hi Experts,
We have a proxy interface and currently we are using FUNCTION EXIT_SAPMSNPUSER_006 for the APO Order transaction: /SAPAPO/SNPTLB.
This exist is triggering before the Order is being saved in APO and at times it is throwing an error 'Order key already exists in live cache' in the APO system.
Is there any other BADI or User exit available to Save the order in APO before the interface gets processed?, if so, plese guide me.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hello Lakshmi,
I am having the same issue with the message "Order key already exists in live cache" in our system.
We are using the user-exit EXIT_SAPMSNPUSER_005 for UoM conversion.  But we are not making any explicit proxy calls
to /SAPAPO/SNPTLB.  Does the system automatically call this transaction with this user-exit?
Did you get a resolution for the issue.  I would really appreciate if you can let me know how you have addressed this.
    Thanks,

  • Missing Button for Favorites in APO Transactions SAPAPO/AMON1

    Can anyone help here
I am missing the Favorites button in transaction SAPAPO/AMON1 - Alert Monitor Display. I need to know what object
controls this so I can create a new role and assign access as needed to selected Admin staff who will assign user access to required Favorites for
    general users
My login is fine but normal user logins the button is not available which is normal although I need to know what authorisation control this
    Thanks

I do not think this is Security Related at all.
Some Software Components (probably the GUI) are not installed on your machine Properly.  Please reinstall the FULL SAPGUI.  If this does not help also see if any SAP SCM-APO Patches are Incorrectly Installed.  In this case you have to check with the Basis Person on the team and together if you cannot figure please raise an OSS to SAP.
Hope this is helpfull in terms of a 'direction' to go for.

  • Replicated sales order not visible in transaction history

    Hi,
I am working on configuring business roles. The sales order gets replicated to ECC. The ECC sales order is visible in document flow in SAP GUI in transaction CRMD_ORDER. However the same ECC sales order number is not visible in transaction history Assignment block in Web UI. I tried even standard salespro role, still not able to view ECC sales order. Would you please help me the steps to be followed to make replicated sales orders visible in Web UI.
    Appreciate your help.
    With regards,
    Ravi

    Hi, Ravi
You have to set allowed transaction types for fact sheet.

  • Use of APO transaction /sapapo/tsobj

I have a question about the use of APO transaction /sapapo/tsobj - for the transport of planning areas and planning books.
As far as I can see, this transaction can be used to first transport planning areas, and <u>then</u> transport planning books.
Can one also use the transaction to transport planning areas <u>and</u> books <u>in one go?</u>
    Thanks,
    Bob Austin, Atos Origin

    absolutely
you can transport planning areas, planning objects, planning books, data views, selection ids and mass processing jobs as well in one shot.

  • COM routine error code descriptions in SAP APO - transaction /SAPAPO/OM10

I had recently encountered a  COM error in SCM APO and wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what the error code actually meant.
If you ever have this issue, you can use transaction /SAPAPO/OM10 to resolve any COM routine error message.
You can also check the message class /SAPAPO/OM_TS and possibly some other /SAPAPO/OM* message classes as well. This is where the error message descriptions are coming from.
    Hope this helps.

    Hello Gabor,
-> As you know, you could use the transaction /n/sapapo/om10 to Display Meaning of COM Return Code.
-> In case you got a COM error in SCM APO => to avoid a spending a lot of time trying to figure out what the error code actually meant, please, open the OSS message to the component BC-DB-LCA to get the liveCache application support from SAP on this issue.
Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina

    Hi,
Transaction /sapapo/snpylb is a transaction for Transport Load builder.
It does an optimised load build.
It is used to create transport loads once the deployment is carried out.
Once the load is created and you hit save, the user exit EXIT_SAPMSNPUSER_006 gets called.
When one creates the load, APO assigns an internal no to the id.
We had used this user exit to generate a custom no once the user hits save.
Hope you find this information useful!

  • Transaction /SAPAPO/BOP in APO

    Hi All,
I need to simulate the transaction / SAPAPO / BOP in an RFC. I created a shdb to do the batch input, but some screens are dynamically generated is not possible to realize the batch input in all environments, because the name of the screens change according to the environment.
How can I do to simulate this operation, anyone know? Someone knows some BAPI which does it?
    Regards.

    Hi Alexander,
That is what I have there:
BSG         Log.sys ;    R/3 Flag   Rel.   Queue Type Error Handl.                                  Role
APO_PRD P00400     Y              ECC5 Inbound      Queues Strict (Terminate at Errors) Not Specified
APO_PRD P10400                       3.50 Outbound      Queues Strict (Terminate at Errors) Not Specified
APO_PRD P20400                       41 Inbound           Queues Strict (Terminate at Errors) Not Specified
APO_PRD P22400                       700 Inbound         Queues Strict (Terminate at Errors) Not Specified
Do you have an idea if the R/3 flag should be Y or X. Does it matter?
