APO Table to identify where cells are fixed

Hello,
In DP I'm looking for a means of identifying which cells against which CVCs have been fixed. Is there a table I can look at which references these fixed cells (in the same way as notes are stored)? Any alternative methods of identifying fixed cells in a report would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Nick De Blasio

Hi Somnath,
That is great idea, thanks for replying to my question. I've been looking on SAP help for the macro function that you describe and assume that it is 'MARKED_FIXED_COLS'? However when I go into Macro workbench this function/operator is not available from the drop down and I receive a syntax error if I try to generate the macro with the function manually entered.
I have confirmed that I'm looking at the correct online help for my system i.e. SCM 4.1. Any advice otherwise I consider this a bug and will raise a customer message?
Many thanks for your time,
Nick

You should be able to do so. I don't understand why you are getting this error.
Are you sure you release the table metadata object before acting on the field

    Hi,
Unfortunately I already tried all kinds of re-installs (the full list is in my original message). The only one remaining is the reinstall of Windows 8 itself, which I would really like to avoid.
What I find really strange is the time it takes for the above error message to appear. It's like one hour or even more (never measured exactly, I left the computer running).
What kind of a timeout is that? I would expect that, if ports are really used by some other application, I get the message in less than a minute (seconds, actually). To me this looks like the emulator itself for some reason believes there's a problem with
some port while in reality there isn't.
I'll eventually contact Microsoft Support, thanks for the suggestion.

  • How can I insert a new table whose cells are linked to Cell Styles?

How can I define a Table Style so that cells in new tables are automatically linked to my Cell Styles? (Not sure if "linked" is exactly the appropriate word....I'm going for "connected in such a way that when the Style is changed, the character/paragraph/cell/table/object updates to reflect the change.")
I thought the whole point of using Cell Styles in Table Styles would be so the cells can be automatically linked to the desired Cell Styles when the table is created -- but that isn't happening for me. I don't know if I'm just confused or if this is a bug:
When I insert a new table of a Table Style I have defined, it seems all cells in the new table are simply linked to Cell Style [None], with overrides for each cell that are consistent with the applicable Cell Style as it was defined when the table was inserted. So although the appearance of each cell is consistent with the Cell Style I defined for for that region of the table, the cells don't update if I later make changes to the Cell Styles I defined.
(If, after inserting a new table, I manually select each cell and apply the desired Cell Style, then the cells do (of course) update when I change the Cell Styles.)
Is it possible to have cells be actually linked to Cell Styles when a new table is inserted, instead of cells being simply linked to style [None] with overrides?
(I'm using the up-do-date 2014 release of InDesign CC, in case that's relevant.)

When I open an old pages doc with new pages 5.0 - objects, specifically pictures, in table cells are removed. Is there a way I can stop this?

    nigel32,
Gavin is right.  You are bound to lose images in tables of docs made in previous versions.  If you wish to continue using Pages 5.0 to edit docs from previous versions, you can try re-inserting your images using the following method:
    1.  Click on the cell you want to insert to.
    2.  Select CELL on the right contextual menu.
    4.  Click on FILL and select IMAGE FILL.
    5.  Click CHOOSE then select the image you need from Finder.
    6.  Tweak the appearance using the SCALE slider or drop down menu.

You could also try table DD01T. In se 16,put in the description thats needed, you will get to know the respective data elements.
Then you can use DD03L to find the respective table. This would work if the data element is not generic.

  • Get only the rows where there are no matches in the tables

To include in the results of a join with no matching rows, you can use a full outer join. In MS SQL Server provides the FULL OUTER JOIN operator, which allows you to include all rows from both tables, regardless of the presence or absence of values.
You can add a WHERE clause in a FULL OUTER JOIN to get only the rows where there are no matches in the tables. The following query returns only those products for which there are no matches in the sales order.
    SELECT p1.Name, p2.SalesOrderID
    FROM  TAB1 p1
    FULL OUTER JOIN TAB2 p2
    ON p1.ProductID = p2.ProductID
    WHERE p1.ProductID IS NULL
    ORDER BY p.Name ;
FULL OUTER JOIN is not supported in ABAP.  How can you solve this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Serena

Similar problems can often be solved by using subqueries, please have a look here and try applying it.

  • APO Tables relationship for shipment and Sales order

    Hello Every1,
Does any1 know APO tables for link between Sales document and Shippment created in APO
for sales & Delivery document I get the table /SAPAPO/VS_SDSHP
Now I want to link the Order Number from Connected OLTP System & Order Item from table /SAPAPO/VS_SDSHP to the shipmet
    Shipment tables are
    /SAPAPO/VS_SHPA
    /SAPAPO/VS_LCMAP
Still I am not able to link these tables through any of fields.
Actual requirement is to create Report which maps Sales order from ERP to the shipments in APO.
Kindly let me know if any1 know how to identify relationship between these tables,.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Narendra.

    Hi Narendra,
I did not find any tables where these linkage is stored.I guess it is stored in live-cache not in any table/view.However, you can try to read the "Order Number from Connected OLTP System" using function module /sapapo/om_order_get_data (pass ORDER GUID from table /SAPAPO/VS_SDSHP ) using which you will get the linkage in output/input parameter table if it is pegged with any shipment no.you have to create SIMSESSION ID using FM /sapapo/rrp_simsession_create and pass this to above mentioned FM.
    hope this helps.

It might be helpful to search this forum and google for PL/SQL (variables, stored procs, etc) naming standards. There are quite a few out there and you can choose one that works for you.
As an example, a lot of standards adopt naming prefixes, ie v_ for VARCHAR variable, n_ for NUMBER variable, pv_ for paramater VARCHAR, etc.

  • Table UI element - dynamic cell editor change on runtime

    Hello,
I have standard table UI element defined on one of the views as part of it's layout, two columns only - KEY and VALUE. Both defined as text cell editor by default. Content of the table is dynamic and different combination of keys and values are presented depending on the app context.
Recently the need arised to (depending on the key value) change the cell editor type for single rows only, dynamically from text to link to action - and to register a triggable event for that with some logic behind (to open new window when link is clicked).
Is it possible at all to have a column in Table UI element with different editor types set dynamically on runtime for different rows? Some cells then wolud still be presented as text, some would have a link to action in them.
If possible can I ask for any hints on how to achieve that?
I imagine that first I have to get somehow a reference to the UI element created when the view is triggered first time, then after I recieve values from backend but prior (or after?) binding it to the table context I would like to evaulate the keys and change cell editors accordingly. Then for changed editors (link to action) I would like to register triggable events (on action) which would call some custom methods for further processing. Please advice.
    Best regards,
    Marcin

    Hi,
You can use the cell variants to display different cell editors in different rows.
First in your table column where you want to display different cell editors insert two cell variants
and fill the VARIANT KEY for each cell variant and insert textview under one cell variant and input field
under another cell variant, and bind the text to be displayed to these cell editors, now take an extra
attribute of type string in your node and bind it to the table column property SELECTED CELL VARIANT.
Now depending on your requirement change this attribute to any of the VARIANT KEY defined for cell variants.
    loop at itab into wa.
          if 'YOUR CONDITION'.
wa-cellvar = 'VAR1'.                 "cellvar is the attribute which is bound to SELECTED CELL VARIANT
            else.                                          " of table column
              wa-cellvar = 'VAR2'.                 " VAR1 and VAr2 are the variant keys of cellvariants
              endif.
              modify itab from wa.
          endloop.
    Hope this solves your problem.

  • Merging and un-merging Tables (not talking about cells in a table).

    Hello,
New to Mac-world and iWork 09. If I've two separate tables on a sheet and wanted to merge these two tables, also, if I've a table and would want to separate it into two or three etc. tables, can anyone help me doing this step by step, please?
    Thanks in-advance.

    D,
    Here's a step-by-step.
    *Merging 2 tables.*
Here we shall assume for simplicity that there are no Footer Rows to deal with, at least not in the table that is going away.
First, make room in your receiving table, the one that you are going to end up with. (This isn't mandatory, but it helps with the visualization of what you will have when you are done.) To expand a table, click once inside it to activate it and then you will see three large dimpled gray handles; one in the lower right hand corner can be dragged to add both columns and rows at once, one at the lower left corner can be dragged to add rows and one in the upper right corner to add columns.
Now you have room to add your second table to your first.
Moving your second table's content into the first table is a four-step process.
    1. Select all the cells in the second table that you wish to move.
    2. Edit > Mark for Move
    3. Select the cell in the first table where you want the upper left cell of the second table to go.
    4. Edit > Move
Now you can clean up by deleting whatever is left of the second table that you didn't need to move.
*Separating one table into two or more tables.*
Lots of ways to do this, but here's my favorite.
    1. In the Sheets Pane, click on the name of the table that you wish to split.
    2. Edit > Copy , Edit > Paste , Select all cells in the new table, Delete them to clear the table.
Now you have a new table the same size as your original. Make as many copies of this new blank table as you are going to need. This would be a good time to rename the new tables in the Sheets Pane. Again, it's not mandatory that the new tables be the same size as the original, but that's a convenient place to begin.
    3. Select a block of cells in the original table that you wish to split off.
    4. Edit > Mark for Move
    5. Select cell A1 in a blank table.
    6. Edit > Move.
Repeat steps 3 to 6 as many times as needed.
Now you need to clean up the blank rows and columns, both in your decimated original table and in your oversized new tables. The easiest way if you don't have any rogue cell content is to activate a table, grab the big handle in the lower right corner and drag up and left until you can't go any further.
If you have any rogue cells, cells with perhaps accidental content away from your intended work, your table sizing handle will stop working when it runs against them. Any cell with content will block the table size reduction effort and if you want to shrink the table further you will have to either deal with the cells first or delete the rows and columns using other controls.
    Regards,
    Jerry
