How do I report an app for advertising Alcohol to 4 year olds?
Apple have allowed an app to advertise alcoholic brands to 4 year olds - the app is Top Quiz by Top Free Games.
Questions relate to brands including alcoholic brands.There are considerable regulations in place for the promotion of Alcohol to Minors in the UK.

You do have the option to write a review. It will be displayed on the page in the App Store, to help other consumers make informed decisions.
Frankly, I am a little skeptical of your claims. The app does not appear to target young kids. And "questions about brands" in the context of a quiz does not equate to "advertising alcohol," although admittedly I do not know the details of the UK regulations to which you refer. But my opinion does not matter. Feel free to write a review.

Thanksdoesn't have to be plausible, just tell them it was fraudulent and they will refund it, or if you accidentally purchased it, call it accidental. either way they refund it
PS: Apple now has an account security team that can deal with fraud issues so if they are most defenetly fraudulent then call apple at the 1-800 number and tell them the deal -
Yahoo App on Android for 12 Year Old
Just bought 12 year old son shiny new phone and have just installed the yahoo app so that he can read his emails. However, when I enter his details it says he needs to be over 13. Not sure why a 12 year old isn't able to have his emails on phone.
Is there any way around this, I've never keyed any kind of parental lock and can't presently find a way around this. Are there any override options, ie change his date of birth?It's down to American laws. They don't have the same data protection laws as in the EU, but they do have strict limits as to what data companies may gather on under 13's. Since Yahoo is an American company, their response (like many other companies) is to refuse service to anyone under 13.

Actually, I don't know for certain if it's a full fifteen minutes. It might be only five but still enough to cause the problem that you had, especially because the timer refreshes when something is purchased! When you contact the app store, keep that in mind. -
I have two ipads using the same apple id. My 3 year old uses one to play learning games. How do I set them up so my apps arent displayed on her ipad?
When you connect that iPad to iTUnes, go to the summary page and scroll down, there should be a box saying 'automatically update' or something to that effect. De select that.
With automatically update on, what you buy on one goes onto the other. but with that box off you can choose.
On the iPad itself, it's under
Settings
iTUnes and App Stores
and then you can choose what you want automatically updated between the two devices. -
Hi I purchased a game app for my daughter (6 years old ) littlest pet shop and been charged for 2 bills of £20.98 she doesn't know and I don't know how this has happened as it was a free app ?

Alot of free apps offer in app purchases which has probably happened here, things for extra points scores etc etc are offered for prices which is how the app can afford to be free via the charge in other purchases within the game.
These are the sorts on in app purchases in littlest pet shop may have been one of these?
If you are 100% sure that no purchse was made get in touch with apple they should be able to tell you what was purchased and when then you can take it from there?

Your six year old likely purchased in-app purchases. Did you not disable in app purchases?

I just bought my 10 year old autistic daughter an IPOD touch that she needs to take to school with just the music (no apps) on it but she also also has an IPAD mini for home that is fullly loaded with apps. The last time I tried to connect 2 devices to Itunes I ended up loosing my own music library so I am a bit hesitant to start setting up this new IPOD touch with outsome help. Anyone have any ideas on how I set up Itunes to make this work and not loose her IPAD apps and media?

My 3 year old and I downloaded, 'mini pets'. app. Whilst playing he managed to purchase a 'vault of gems' for a staggering £70!!!!
Can we get our money back? I can't believe there was no security or the iTunes password to submit and how is an app upgrade £70 these people are rob dogs.

Apple allows apps to list themselves as "Free" if the initial download is free, even if the app has kid-oriented inducements for costly in-app purchases. The in-app purchases are almost always ridiculous, over-priced game accessories, of which your example of "vault of gems for £70" is right up there. It is way too caveat emptor for my taste, but each consumer can form their own opinion on that.
To Apple's credit, they have a good record of granting refunds providing you explain the extenuating circumstances (purchase by a minor) and only ask once. Contact iTunes Customer Service.
And immediately, you need to place restrictions on the devices. The restrictions are off by default (caveat emptor!), so you need to take action to place them. See this document: iOS: Understanding Restrictions -
I have been using find my iPhone on my iPhone 4s for the past year. I will look at it occasionally to keep track of my 12 year old. All of a sudden I have to log in every time I click on the app. I have always remained logged in in the past.. I upgraded to IOS 8 today thinking that might fix it. It has not.

I have downloaded every update and my battery life is better than any previous iPhone I have ever owned. I see posts from hundreds of people every day, and this is not a commonly reported problem. My 6 year old was playing on an app we have used for ages then last night i recieved numerous emails stating about $600 of in app purchases had been made! i dont know how this happened as my child does not know my apple i.d. password!
You can try contacting iTunes support and see if they give you a refund or credit for some/all of it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchaes, Billing & Redemption.
To stop it happening again you can turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases, and also in Restrictions change Require Password to 'Immediately' - the default is 15 minutes during which it doesn't need to be re-entered. -
My 2 year old has deleted my 'apps store' icon and I cannot figure out how to get it back? Doesn't seem to be available in the on-line apps store, ironically enough
He dragged the icon out of the dock at the bottom and disappeared. That icon is merely a "shortcut" that opens the application when you click on it.
You still have the app. Open your applications folder and look for the App Store app icon. Click and hold down on the App Store icon and drag the icon down into the dock to replace it. That puts the shortcut back into the dock. -
