App disappeared from Purchases list?

Hi, I bought and have been playing GTA: San Andreas since around its release on the Mac. I tried to download the 4GB update yesterday but had some internet issues and it kept cutting out. Eventually the download finished, but when I went to open the game it came up with a message saying: "“Grand Theft Auto San Andreas” is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete “Grand Theft Auto San Andreas” and download it again from the App Store." I assumed my internet connection cutting out every so often had caused something to mess up. I went back to the App Store to re-download the game to find that San Andreas wasn't on my Purchases list.
My question is, how can I get the game back without having to repay? I don't have the recepit Apple sent me but I do have proof I've owned the game because the icon is still on my Launchpad and get that error message.

You can re download without having to re purchase the app but first delete the app from your Mac using this free utility > Download AppCleaner for Mac - Uninstall your apps easily. MacUpdate.com
That will uninstall the app and all the associated files.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

I accidentally deleted the Iphoto from the purchased list of the Mac App Store, and now I can`t find a way to recover it!

Weirdo thing is, even with the App removed from the list, I can still use the iPhoto on my Mac. It is still installed, but I`m affraid not receiving news updates from the Mac App Store.

In the App Store application… go to the Store menu, select View My Account, sign in and there's a link for Hidden Purchases you can click to unhide any hidden purchases.

Apps disappear from purchases

Has anyone had an issue with apps diappearing from purchases. I have an app I use almost everyday called Gym Buddy. I've upgraded to a new phone and this app did not come over in the restore process and it does not appear in my past purchases for some reason.... yet it is still on my old phone.

I couldn't locate Carbon Copy or iSlice at the Mac App Store.
Launch iTunes. Select iTunes Store on the left then click your account name on the right. Then click Purchase History. If they don't show up in Purchase History, post a report with Mac App Store Customer Service

Already purchased apps vanished from "Purchased" list in app store. How do I get them back without buying them again?

I had a problem with my 3GS iphone. At the Genius Bar I was told the phone had to be reinstalled. Since I had backed up the phone I agreed. Afterwards they told me, I should not use the backup but reinstall everything fresh manually. Now I find that several apps that I have used frequently in the past and did pay for are not in my "purchased" list of the App store.
It might have something to do with the fact that the apps I used to use are now optimised for higher iOS. I cannot install iOS7, but the apps that vanished from the list can still be installed. I just dont want to buy everything again.
Does anyone have suggestion how to get back those apps?

You can re download past purchases for free but make sure and use the same Apple ID and password.

Hi. I accidentally deleted my copy of OSX Server from my computer. Went to App Store to re-download it ... but it's not there anymore. I have not upgraded to Yosemite, so no major changes to my mac, and I have double-checked I'm using the correct Apple ID. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks!

I also can't find OS X Server in my previous purchases. The updates pane in App Store shows me OS X Server was updated to version 3.2.2 last week, when I was still running Mavericks, so I know I purchased it at some point!
I upgraded to Yosemite a couple days ago, and now the OS X Server app is disabled, so I presume I have to reinstall it.

Have you deleted anything from your iTunes library ? Have you checked to see if they are still on your computer, but not listed in your iTunes library ?
If not then do they show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for redownloading ? If they don't show there and others do and they are still in your country's store, then check to see if they are hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If they are no longer in your store for redownloading (or you aren't in a country where music videos can be redownloaded) then you will need to copy them back from your backup of your library/downloads.

go to purchased in itunes > then choose music, apps,... > then click X to hide them.
they will be hided from download list and history.
they just can be moved back from account page.

Apps disappeared from "Use Cellular Data For" after iOS 8.0.2

Normally, when you go to Settings->Cellular Data, you can see a list of all apps that use data, and you are able to turn cellular data on or off for each app individually.
I had been using this feature since iOS 7 without problem, until I upgraded to iOS 8.0.2.
Now, only "FaceTime" and "Passbook" appear under this list. All other apps, including Mail, Safari, etc. have disappeared.
What's worse, apps for which I had turned cellular data for---such as YouTube---cannot be turned back on, because they have disappeared from this list. Therefore, I am permanently unable to use YouTube without Wifi because of this bug. The same goes for every app for which I had turned off cellular data.
I tried restoring the iPhone (it's an iPhone 5), to no avail.
Does anyone else have this issue, or is it a weird bug with just my phone?

No, I did not solve this problem, and it persists in iOS 8.1.2.
Apple have a reluctance to take bugs affecting smaller groups of users seriously. With regard to this bug, their attitude is that we should just erase our phones and set them up from scratch. This is something I refuse to do.
I did open a new bug about this in the bug tracker (bug #18732898). It hasn't been closed yet, which means at the very least, they have not decided to totally ignore this bug forever. However, don't get your hopes up for a fix.
I have learned to live with it, but it has pushed me closer to choosing Android for my next phone. I am fairly confident that iOS software bugs are far less important to Apple than developing smart watches and payment systems and getting the next "hot" feature out the door.

Go to your Spotlight search. (Swipe from left to right at your primary home screen.)
Type in 'Facebook'.
You should see your Facebook app.
Unless you held down an app icon until it 'wiggles', then hit the black 'x' to delete it, you didn't delete the app.

Downloaded Apps Disappeared from iPhone 5S

All downloaded apps disappeared from my iPhone 5S. The restriction setting is off and I don't have hidden apps. I tried to reset my phone, but did not work either. When I checked from App Store, it said "open", but I couldn't click open. When a new app finished installing, it also disappeared. HELP!

Assuming you don't have any restrictions set on your apps (Settings --> General --> Restrictions, Apps)
If the app has suddenly disappeared, but when you go to the App Store can it says "Open" instead of insta//download, that means the app is still there, but iOS seems to have lost track of it.
You can try backing up and restoring from a backup.
Or
You can try deleting the app and re-installing:
Settings --> Usuage (wait for the app list to load) and then you delete it there, and then re-install.
(You WILL lose ALL data that was saved under that app tho!)

Time Capsule disappears from device list when wireless is toggled

When I toggle wireless on and off, either via profile or Airport > Wireless, sometimes my base station disappears from the list of devices in Airport Utility:
Has anyone else seen this? My Time Capsule reappears after I close and reopen Airport Utility.

I may not be understanding what you mean but unless you have the TC connected via ethernet it will disappear when you turn airport off, it would come back up when you turn it on but it may take a few minutes.

I have added more songs to my library. Half of the library has selected ticks but when I click on any of the others to select them the whole song disappears from the list. Why and what can I do to fix?

If I understand correctly, it sounds like iTunes is not grouping the songs from a particular CD together. The cause could be something as minor as a misspelling or slight variations. For more information, see the following resource:
