App disappearing from blackberry when installed

Hi,
couple of days ago, i've started to install applications on my blackberry OTA. I clicked on the icon and the bb browser opens then I installed. Then, after install, the app would just disappear!
I've checked all the folders, I've unhidden all the apps to see whether it got hidden but that was not the case either. I've checked application list by going to options-->advanced options-->applications and verified that app has been successfully installed but there is no sign of the app anywhere!
Today I've installed bb messenger the same way and after the install, bb messenger icon disappeared as well! In fact, it's not even running!!!!
Please help I'm dying! I am pretty sure it's the software problem and some setting probably is set wrong.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
Check the applications and download folders and make sure you scroll all the way up and down.
If you see them in the applications installed list, try this:
No data will be lost when doing the following: pull the battery while the device is ON.
Replace after a minute, Let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is fixed.
If that doesn't work :
Go to options advanced options, Host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT click on any listing.
Press menu key, and select register now.
You will get a verification email. Then go to email settings and send service books.
You will get an email per account. Repeat the battery pull and see if the icons appear.
Thanks,

Hi. NOT CALL ME FOR I AM DEAF BETTER U WRITE ONLY EMAIL.
When I run the app ALLMYMUSIC FROM WONDERSHARE after installing I get this window up.
When I log in with my Apple ID I just get:
The Apple ID you entered couldn't be found or your password was incorrect. Please try again.
I have however made sure that this is the correct Apple ID and password that I am putting in. In the Mac App Store it works.
    Do you have any solution?
    I am running Mavericks 10.9.2.

  • Downloaded Apps Disappeared from iPhone 5S

All downloaded apps disappeared from my iPhone 5S. The restriction setting is off and I don't have hidden apps. I tried to reset my phone, but did not work either. When I checked from App Store, it said "open", but I couldn't click open. When a new app finished installing, it also disappeared. HELP!

Assuming you don't have any restrictions set on your apps (Settings --> General --> Restrictions, Apps)
If the app has suddenly disappeared, but when you go to the App Store can it says "Open" instead of insta//download, that means the app is still there, but iOS seems to have lost track of it.
You can try backing up and restoring from a backup.
    Or
You can try deleting the app and re-installing:
Settings --> Usuage (wait for the app list to load) and then you delete it there, and then re-install.
(You WILL lose ALL data that was saved under that app tho!)

  • Calendar app disappeared from iphone ios7

Just noticed that my Calendar app disappeared from my iPhone 5 - ios7.  It was visible after upgrade, although I hardly use it, but noticed today that it had disappeard.  Anyone know how to get it back, or what happened?

I did a Spotlight Search, and it's not there.  The "Gadgets" I'm talking about is "Gadgets by Esteve Fiol Sastre" and it's a bunch of tools like level, flashlight, protractor, etc., and that one is not in the App Store.  If something is removed from the App Store, does it automatically disappear from the iPhone?   Thanks,  fselce

  • Safari app disappeared from iPhone screen

    Safari app
    disappeared from my ipone screen

You can't delete it.  Look through all your screens and in all your folders.  If you still can't find it go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.  This will restore it (and other iOS apps) to its original location.

  • ITunes Festival app disappeared from my Apple TV menu screen...

My iTunes Festival app disappeared from my Apple TV menu screen, does anyone know how to bring it back again?
I restarted my Apple TV and everything but nothing is happening... please help!

I may be wrong but I suspect the festival was a limited time free extra not directly advertised on the AppleTV page.  I agree it's a shame it's gone - I browsed it and there were a few artists I might have watched who were not available as they had not played yet.
There may well be licensing/contractual limitations for how long Apple can broadcast the material set up by the music studios and artists.
If things are added for free temporarily it would be nice if they gave some kind of expiration date warning.

  • HT1414 Why did my YouTube app disappear?  It came installed on he iPad when I bought it.

For some reason the YouTube app disappeared.  It was there last night and when I went to open the app this morning, it wasn't there.  This app was pre-loaded on the iPad when I bought it.  How do I recover it?
    Thanks for any help.

You must have just updated your device to iOS6?  If you did YouTube is no longer a native app, because the agreement between Apple and Google was up and this has been published for months.  There is now a YouTube App in the App Store, you can download from Google.  Go to the App Store, and in search type Google.  You'll find YouTube there.  Note:  The app is currently optimized for iPhone.  Google is working on an iPad specific YouTube App, but it is not ready yet.  To get the iPhone app to fill your screen, use the 2X on the bottom right of the screen.

  • Apps disappeared from iPhone 5 when I downloaded ios 7.

When I downloaded ios 7 to my iphone 5, many of my apps disappeared.  I can find them by using the search on the phone, but there are no icons.  When I go to the App Store and pull up those apps, the "Open" button is where the download button usually is.  How do I get the icons back?

    Hey there Daizon!
I have an article for you here that can help you troubleshoot this issue:
    Battery life seems short
Click ( www.apple.com/batteries/iphone.html) for tips on how to prolong iPhone's battery life.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
Connect iPhone to iTunes and restore iPhone.
If the screen shows a low-battery image, the battery is low on power and needs to charge for up to ten minutes before you can use it.
When charging iPhone, make sure to leave it charging until it is fully charged. You'll know the battery is fully charged when the battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen looks like this .
Note: When charging using a computer, don't connect iPhone to a keyboard. Also, the computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode. If iPhone is connected to a computer that's not turned on or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPhone battery may drain.
Note: Charging with a FireWire-based power source is not supported, except on original iPhone.

If the issue is still not resolved by these troubleshooting steps, there is further suggestion at the end of that article:

  • BBM 6 - cant send pictures and then app disappeared from phone altogether!

HI i have a Curve 9300 and recently upgraded to BBM 6
At first it worked ok but the functionality to send pictures and all other files through BBM was not available - it wasn't even a selection in the main menu. When I tired to go through the pictures folder sending to a bbm contact was not an option.
since then i had to reboot the phone and the BBM icon has disappeared. It is noted as installed on my app world listing but I cannot run it or open it and icon has disappeared from my menu!
Please help! I use this to keep in contact with my husband who works overseas so I need to fix this asap, even if I could downgrade to the previosu version that would be great but i don't know how to find it to download!
    K

After performing a quick search on the web, the easiest way to reinstall BBM is to do the following:
The easiest way is to use BlackBerry Desktop Software. After connecting your Berry, select Apploader, then Add-Remove. Check BlackBerry Messenger, or make sure it’s checked. Select finish. As with all Desktop Manager transactions, make sure you back up your device before executing. You never know what can go wrong during the installation process (like tripping over the USB cord when running out to answer the phone…grumble grumble grumble).

  • Recently purchased app disappeared from v2.2 iPod, became v3.0 app

    Hello,
I bought an application in the iTunes store a few months ago. Last week or so the application disappeared from the iPod touch (running OS 2.2.1). The app is in iTunes but does not synch, but no error.
Today I tried to install via iTunes App on the iPod itself, and I get a "OS version 3 is required for this application". The developer tells me that this is due to Apple's management of applications on the iTunes app store and tells me I should take it up with Apple (how?).
I didn't and still don't want to upgrade my OS to v3 and now the application that I paid for is gone. I feel, to be honest, ripped off, despite the relatively small amount of money. I am surprised that apps are not backwards compatible and I see other apps being updated all the time.
I don't mind living with less features in the app when the OS progresses, but getting one's purchase made void by means of an OS change seems like burning my money. Don't think I will feel like paying for an application again in the near future.
Anyone with a similar experience? What can be done?

  • Why did a whole bunch of apps disappear from my iPhone!?

A great many apps, a number which I cannot guess, have suddenly disappeared from my iPhone upon sync with the new iTunes 9. After this sync, I installed iPhoneOS 3.1 and sync'd again. The apps are simply gone. They're not in my trash bin. They're not in my Home Directory. They are still in my Home Directory under ~/Music/iTunesLibrary/Mobile Applications
Why have they disappeared from my iTunes Library? Why did I see a message stating they were being removed from my iPhone? What gives? Some of my most used applications were simply removed without my permission.
What happened to the Apple Macintosh "It Just Works" slogan? Apple's software of late has not done what I want, and tries to think on its own. Stop that! Do what I say. When I click, you jump. When I don't click, don't jump.

I just experienced this same **** problem! I synced my iphone with my computer (like normal), i noticed it was taking a while to sync so I canceled it only to find that ALL OF MY APPS ARE GONE! I'm glad i stopped it because it started to delete my music. and even the folder that I had associated with my itunes library is not showing up in itunes. It surely is an itunes problem, not an iphone problem. I am aware that I can re-download them one by one for free but I want them all back with out hours of doing that! they are even gone from my applications file in iTunes. I'm with you in that apple really has abandoned that whole, "it just works". because it does not "just work". They try to use itunes to lock down their **** but it just turns out to be a pain. I want to know of a place in my account that I can simply go to download all my apps at once?! apple can be so smart sometimes, but so stupid other times and very user unfriendly with regards to the iphone. thumbs down apple.

  • Apps disappeared from "Use Cellular Data For" after iOS 8.0.2

Normally, when you go to Settings->Cellular Data, you can see a list of all apps that use data, and you are able to turn cellular data on or off for each app individually.
I had been using this feature since iOS 7 without problem, until I upgraded to iOS 8.0.2.
Now, only "FaceTime" and "Passbook" appear under this list. All other apps, including Mail, Safari, etc. have disappeared.
What's worse, apps for which I had turned cellular data for---such as YouTube---cannot be turned back on, because they have disappeared from this list. Therefore, I am permanently unable to use YouTube without Wifi because of this bug. The same goes for every app for which I had turned off cellular data.
I tried restoring the iPhone (it's an iPhone 5), to no avail.
Does anyone else have this issue, or is it a weird bug with just my phone?

    Hi jah_mez69,
No, I did not solve this problem, and it persists in iOS 8.1.2.
Apple have a reluctance to take bugs affecting smaller groups of users seriously. With regard to this bug, their attitude is that we should just erase our phones and set them up from scratch. This is something I refuse to do.
I did open a new bug about this in the bug tracker (bug #18732898). It hasn't been closed yet, which means at the very least, they have not decided to totally ignore this bug forever. However, don't get your hopes up for a fix.
I have learned to live with it, but it has pushed me closer to choosing Android for my next phone. I am fairly confident that iOS software bugs are far less important to Apple than developing smart watches and payment systems and getting the next "hot" feature out the door.
