App does not show up on display where it has been started

Hi
I have a macbook pro latest model with up-to-date osx, and i have an external monitor connected to it through a thunderbold->dvi connection.
When open an app on the exernal display either from the dock or using the finder, the programm is always showing up on the main display on the macbook pro, and i have to move everything back to the exernal display.
Is that normal like that, or is there a way to change this, so that program show up on the display where they are started ?

    Swipe from bottom of days listed ("Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, etc")  upwards.  I thought it was gone too but it's still there~just takes different way to access it.

    If you updated the desktop installer and the screen is blank: try this:
    Rename the opm.db file.
    Close the Creative Cloud application if it's running.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
    Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
    Launch Creative Cloud

    It's a bit hit and miss, Walter. Sometimes the box to enter text shows up straight away in the inspector under "text". Other times, although you click "text" in the inspector, there's nowhere to actually write anything.... then what you have to do is move the trackbar over the Title Box until you see the text boxes in the main Viewer. In the Viewer, double click a text box.... you can enter text there, but it's a bit flaky, but when you've clicked in it, you'll find that under "Text" in the inspector, the box for inputting text has magically appeared!
    I'm not sure if anyone else has this trouble, but it is a bit of a pain!

    Thanks for the question, I can definitely understand how frustrating this issue may be with a brand new phone. Great troubleshooting so far by already attempting a restart and reset. If the issue persists, let’s try restoring your device and updating to the latest software (iOS 8.0.2):

    After erasing and setting up as a new device, your device is now in a factory configuration. Test to determine if erasing and setting up as a new device resolved the issue. Content on the device may have caused unexpected behavior.
    - If the issue is still present, you may want to contact Apple Support.
    - If the issue is now resolved, sync one type of content at a time back to the device. For example, if you had an issue playing music, add songs from iTunes and confirm they will play. If your contacts weren't loading successfully, add the contacts back. After each sync, test to see if the issue has returned.

  • An app does not show up but is found in search

    after setting up my new phone i have at least one app that's icon is not showing up on any of the pages.  yet when 'searched' for on the phone it is found and can be used.  the app does not show up in my updates list for the app store either, so the phone must know it's installed. what could cause this icon to not be visible and how can i correct this?

      I have successfully add an App from the SharePoint App Store to my SharePoint Site which was developed using SharePoint 2013. The added app was successfully Approved then when I try to add that app using the App Part to a web page I cannot Find it
    in the App Part section. I looked in the Site Collection Features & Site Features I couldn't find the app to activate. I don't think I have done some kind of mistake. So then what else I have to do to add that App part to the web page.

    You haven't actually asked a question, but as stated you should only download Flash Player directy from Adobe.
    Nor have you said what version of OS X and Safari you are running.

Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version,10.3 or later, is for Intel Macs only, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Version 11.0.1.152 is for Lion.

    You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

    and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.

    i have a problem with my iPad's music app. When browsing compilations, it does not show the artist of each track like my iPhone does. Both devices are sync'ed with the same iTunes library, and the 'Part of a compilation' flag is set correctly to the corresponding tracks.
    Please let me illustrate the problem with a few screenshots.
    The iPhone shows this compilation correctly as 'Various Artists' and thus displays the track's artists in each line below:
    In contrast, the iPad's music app does not seem to identify the compilation correctly. The artist is not shown as "Various Artists" like on the iPhone, but the artists of the first track is wrongly used instead. Furthermore, the artist of each track is not shown in the list on the right side:
    The setting "Sort album by artist" is turned on on both devices.
    Any ideas what could be wrong?

    It's not you, it's the iPad's iOS.  The Music app in iOS 5 for the iPad is horrendous with several UI fails:
    - No category for Compilations
    - Incorrect/ Missing Artist for Compilations
    - No lyrics
    - No indication of track number within a group of tracks (e.g. "18 of 37")
    - Sporadic indication of which track is playing while looking at a list
    Hopefully these things get corrected in iOS 6, but for now you'll have to bear with it.  You can voice your concern here:
