App download error, always error for download ,can't clean temp

right now, I'm Using Mountain lion as OS
At App Store, I was try to download imovie , but it fail to completed the program and install
its show error ("small") red word before install botton
no matter how i did, just can't completed the program
I did search for the answer and try to del the temp file
as said del this temp file ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore
(I even find the temp for imovie under caches, but still won't work)
BUT it still can't finish the program & install
May I ask where is the temp file of imovie, or how can I reset it

When I go to update my software using the app store download, it always asks for the previous user's ID, not mine. Please help!

When I go to update my software using the app store download, it always asks for the previous user's ID, not mine (my IT guy at school's-I am a faculty with admin priviledges). I have signed in as me, have set the main preferences login user as me,and everywhere on the laptop I can use my apple ID except here. It always shows me a greyed out ID of my IT. How can I reset this to my ID? It doesn't give me an option to change the user ID, only a link to reset password. I reset it, but it did not change the problem. Can someone help me?

It's not an ID problem, it's an ownership problem.
When someone uses their personal Apple ID to buy and download content, the content is licensed to them and has their Apple ID engrained in it's DNA. It is an anti-piracy program. And when that personal Apple ID is used to setup a new Mac, it involves the Mac itself, the shipping OS and any pre-installed apps as well.
It's not the correct way to handle Macs that belong to a business or an institution. And had it been handled correctly they would not now be in this predictument needing a drastic remedy.

Error message 413 for download lightroom

I bought Lightroom to use on a Mac .
I already paid it, i download it one time but never install it. I switch off my computer and the Application disappear. So I went again on the download link and try to download.
But when I click I have been directed on a page with 413 Header Length too Large

Always "available for download"

I am a heavy user of podcasts. Why do so many of my podcasts have the "available for download" icon beside them (the cloud with an arrow in it), but after clicking on the icon and watching the file download the icon resets to "available to download" and the file is not in my library? If I try to play one of these files, either before or after the alleged download, it tries to stream.

Previously downloaded photos still checked for download

I'm importing photos from a CF card. I used to be that only those photos that had not been downloaded were checked for download. All of a sudden every photo on the card, downloaded or not, is checked. Any idea why that might be?

Is the "Do not import Duplicates" option in the "Aperture Library" brick of the "Import Settings" pane of the Import Panel turned on? Otherwise Aperture will show all images in the import browser.

Error message 100008 for downloading songs - HELP!

I am purchasing music but when I try to download it says the file may be corrupt, error 100008. I have already tried different versions of the songs and have reinstalled Itunes. I'm really at a loss - any help would be appreciated!

Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, followTroubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart.
Avoid using an older or modified .ipsw file. Try moving the current .ipsw file (see Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations), or try restoring in a new user to ensure that iTunes downloads a new .ipsw.

I just bought a macmini and decided to purchase adobe photoshop elements 10 from the Indonesian Appstore. However, I'm greatly disappointed that after numerous tries to download/install the software, an error message would always cut short the installation/download process. Tried googling the issue but it seems that I cannot find anyone else with the same problem. Its my first time to use an apple OS and buy an adobe photoshop product so I'm really a newbie here. I was also unable to find any help from the appstore.

What error message do you get when you try to download/intall? Also do let me know the version of MAC OS you are on.
Photoshop Elements 10 is an older version, the current version is 11.
Try downloading Photoshop Elements 10 from http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-10-direct-download-links-pse-premiere-pre.htm l and make sure you follow the important instructions on the page before you initiate the download.

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

Try completely removing and reinstalling iTunes and all related components; you may need to do this multiple times. It won't normally affect the iTunes library, but that should be backed up anyway.
