App download on imac is paused w/o resume button
I recently started an app download and in the middle of it's download it now says "waiting" and and when I go to the recent purchases page in the app store it says "An error has occurred". I cannot drag to the trash, I've tried deleting the file on my computer..it still just sits there saying "waiting".
cancel the app install (App store or Launch Pad) and start again

Hi Everyone,
I've got a fairly short little animation sequence that the folks here at my work would like to insert into one of our web pages on our site. It's a demo on how to use one of our products, so I'd like to add a few buttons so the user can pause and then resume the entire movie. There is absolutely no scripting applied to the FLA right now.
Could someone please get me started with this? I've been working on another project that involves scripting some buttons with AS3, so I have some knowledge, but am still having a lot of difficulty, so any help would be appreciated.

To play/start a movie you command it to: play();
That's really all you need to have your buttons do in their event handler functions. -
I have tried to download Mavericks on my 2010 iMac(10.6.8), but nothing happens, not even the install app downloads, also I tried to download chrome, I moved it to the applications folder and when I opened the folder it wasn't there. I have a 1tb hard drive that is mostly empty. By the way I just got this imac used from a reseller.
Mavericks downloads into the Applications folder, where you can install it. Some Mac App Store Troubleshooting information and how to resume a download that was interrupted; some of the information here might get you an answer. Failing that, try contacting Apple Support.

I have CC for work and my PC to do work at home. At home I switched from PC to Mac this weekend. I want to redownload my apps for the iMac but it's telling my I'm using a 30 day free trial. I need to discontinue the PC apps and download to the new computer.
YOu need to sign out of the PC thru the CC manager and then sign in on the Mac.

Not with the iTunes U app, no. You would do this through iTunes on your computer.

Hello I formatted my iMac today and wanted to download iphoto again but after i press the button to install it in the app store nothing happens! same with the yosemite upgrade.. In the iPhoto ratings there are alot of other people facing this problem I hope somebody can help me. thank you in advance
If you have OS X 10.6.8 as you state you can not get iphoto form the App store - you must have Yosemite OS X 10.10. installed to download iphoto 9.6 from the App store
If Nothing happens then you need to contact App store support - link is on the right of the App store window

I downloaded Lion and have attempted to 'update' it from apps to my imac... after 3 hours of uploading it show me an error message saying there's something wrong with my internet connection... which there is not. Anyone else experience this?
What type of Internet connection do you have? How fast is it?

HT1766 Restart the app download after a pause in the restore process.
I need to restart the "restore" function on my replacement iPhone after leaving the apple store before all downloads were complete. How do I reactivate the restore after I paused it when I went off wifi? Tapping individual app icons does not work.
As far as I know, if you restart the Mac with a paused app download, the download will be lost, so it's still present in OS X Mountain Lion. If you have to download a big application, I recommend you to put your Mac in sleep mode after pausing the download, so you won't lose the download and you will be able to resume it whenever you want

Like I said, I downloaded some Apps onto this Imac. When I try to use them it says that they were purchased on another computer. That said, I don't have another computer. It will then ask for my to sign in with my apple id and password. When I put those in, it says that the computer can not be verified. Contact apple support. I don't have apple care and can't exactly afford to buy it at this time. Anyone know how to resolve this issue??
Ok, I had a glitch, forced to restart, and lost my train of thought.
Reinstalling iTunes should fix the major issue that might have gone wrong, perhaps your explaination points will disappear and everything will be peachy again.
But if they don't, you can open the XML file in iTunes Folder using a Text edit program to see what the common pathname is to the iTunes Music folder or where your content is located.
If you moved the itunes folder, it needs to go back.
I can't download iTunes to my Vista virtual machine to test it out right now because iTunes is down, so I can't verify the pathname, perhaps your issue and the iTunes being down are related somehow?
You don't want to import all your music again, but it's a option, but you lose all your playlists, that's what I'm trying to recover.
If oyu don't have a whole lot of playlists, then simply select all the explaimation point music and delete, select File from the menu and import your itunes folder again. -

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

so i purchased an app in the app store suddenly it says paused and wont download no matter what i do, how do i un pause please?:)Try tapping the app that says paused, this should allow you to resume the download.
You can also try turning the iPhone off and then back on. Just hold the Sleep button and then slide to power off, then press Sleep again to turn it back on.
Also, make sure there aren't any paused downloads in any other apps, like iTunes. -
My Mac App store download is stuck on pause

Today I purchased Borderlands 2 on the Mac App store. It started downloading and after 15 min i was up to about 4GB/10GB I had some trouble with my connection and after the issue was resolved my download wouldn't resume even after I restarted the download, restarted my computer.
1 day later the download is still on pause and I have no idea what to do.- Try a reset. Nothing is lost.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Download the app on yur computer and sync.

I tried downloading the lose it app to my iMac, as I don't have an iPhone. I do have an iPad but it belongs to my place of employment. How do I download it to my computer? I don't know what my operating system is for my computer.
Itunes does not sell any apps at all for your computer.
