App Error 603 with "App Error 603".

My Curve 9330 occasional reboots with error message, "App Error 603".  Also sometimes get the message, "Uncaught exception index 11 >= 11".  Help!!!

I would recommend doing a wipe out of your handheld.  Mine was doing the same and it looks like that did the trick for me.
To do that go to Options>Security>Security Wipe you will be prompted to enter the password blackberry to be able to do this.
Hope it helps.

    running?
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,
All you need to do is wire an error cluster with a 'status' of True and one of your custom error codes as the 'code' into the General Error Handler VI, and it should pop up an error dialog with your custom error specified.
If you're still having trouble, let me know.

  • Replacing JBO error messages with Struts error messages

I would like to display Struts error messages on an HTML form instead of the JBO error messages when a user submits a form with data entry error. Has anybody done that? Do I need to extend the DataForwardAction class and write JAVA code to do it or is there a more elegant way?

Could someone please answer this? As I understand, Steve Meunch says: "our prescriptive architecture's best practice is to implement all validation in your entities" but this is talking more about rules, I think, than about error messages that are customized to specific pages and fields.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

  • Memory access error combined with "internal error SIGSEV"

In a code that I work on, I get a memory access error, when i allocate memory to a pointer via new.
It says " Attempting to write 4 bytes at address <address>
which is <x> bytes past the end of heap block of size <size of class allocated throug new> at <address>
After this there is one function call into which i try to step in and i get
"internal error : signal SIGSEV (no mapping at the fault address)" and core is dumped after raising abort signal.
But i dont get any problem with regard to function mapping, when i try stepping over the function and function performs its usual action. Also the binary works fine with no runtime exceptions. It gives this mapping problem while debugging.

Indeed, it is dbx error. Seeing that gdb is involved, I suspect DWARF-related problem. You are using dbx that is almost 4 years old; at the very least, please install all patches; better solution is to upgrade to latest version, it works much better with gcc compilers.
The latest version of Sun Studio can be downloaded from here: http://developers.sun.com/sunstudio/downloads/
Besides, it has much better IDE and more standard- (and gcc-) conforming C++ compiler, so you might as well try switching to Sun Studio C++ compiler for you project.

  • Anonymous Level Security Token Error combined with DECOMCNFG errors and finishing big with mmc.exe crash

    Hello
I'm running on  a brand new system Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit.
I have a problem with Internet Explorer 8. When a javascript tries to open a link into a new window I get the error message: Message: Cannot open an anonymous level security token.
The solution to this is to go to dcomcnfg -> Expand Componenet Services -> Computers
Select My Computer -> right click My Computer and select Properties.
On the Default Properties tab set the Default Authentication level and Default Impersonation level.
Here is the problem: These values can not be set. There are multiple problems with the DCOMCNFG interface.
    1.  There are no values present in the drop down window.
    2.  The first time one selects properties from my computer to access the default properties tab, I get only a 2 tab page consisting only of COM Security and MSDTC.  I have to select the properties option a second time to get the correct page to
pop up containing the additional 4 tabs that include the default Properties. (strange, but I have actually seen this behavior reported elsewhere on the net by a developer)
    3. On the default properties tab, the "enable Distributed COM on this computer" is unchecked, even though registry values indicate DCOM is enabled.
    4. The drop down windows for "Default Authetication Level" and "Default Inpersonation Level" do not populate with any options when I check the "Enable Distributed COM" box.  Registry values appear to have these settings correctly set.
    5.  Regardless of whether I modify any entries or not on the Default Properties tab, every time I close the Default Properties tab by selecting "OK", mmc.exe crashes and an error is generated. No crash if I select "cancel."  Error info below:
    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: mmc.exe

What have I done to try to remedy the problem?
Ran fsc scannow and chkdsk with no change.
    What would I like?
To eliminate the anonymous level security token  error in IE8, and I assume the DCOMCNFG problem may be the cause.
    Thanks, Jim

I have the EXACT signature of symptoms as described here, but with Windows XP:

I tried the COMFIX tool suggested by Jim Bacon - it does not complete for me however
(there is no "run as admin" option in Windows XP, just double clicked to run it.
Otherwise followed as described (no Norton Ghost)
    It errors out:
In the Command Window, it says Open Service Fail 1060
Specific Service does not exist as installed service
And a Windows Script Host Window that reports error "the system cannot find the file specified" - code:80070002
Is this because it is XP?
Is there something similar I can use for XP, or do I have some other limitation?
Appreciate assistance - I was happy to find this issue reported here so pleased that at least I am not unique in that!

  • Ipod sync errors out with "unknown error -69"

The problem I'm having has been happening ever since I upgraded to iTunes v7.x and I cannot backup to v6.x on any of my computers. This problem is only happening on my XP Pro SP2 computers with most up to date patches. The hardware is from two different manufacturers, error is the same.
My iPod is a 20GB with a dock (four buttons above the wheel). It has firmware v2.3 and is formatted for Windows.
The problem does NOT occur on either of my Mac OSX 10.3.9 iBook computers.
In all 4 cases I have used the same exact music files and first tests I created library files just prior to synchronizing. As noted, the XP computers fail partway through the synchronizing. It can fail at 3 files, or 500, but it fails. I can restart the sync and have it go a little further then fail.
I've copied the Mac library files to the XP computers and still the XP computers fail to sync properly. I've copied the XP library files to the Mac computers and they continue to work properly.
I've swapped firewire cables with a friend and had it fail. He's tried his iPod and it has failed (he syncs against his Mac with success). I've used a USB cable and had it fail. I've tried unplugging everything and using every single firewire and usb port on my computer one at a time and every time it's failed.
I found a link on here to remove a registry setting for high filter and low filter for the USB but could not remove the settings...being that I primarily use firewire, I gave up on that idea.
I've tried the 5 R's so many times on my poor iPod it doesn't know what it's up to.
In a nut shell I've tried EVERYTHING I can find on here that's the least bit relevant and nothing fixes the problem. I took it to an Apple store and their solution was for me to pay more to have the unit replaced than it would cost to replace it with a 30GB video iPod....sounds pretty dumb to me to pay more for less.

I went to another Apple store today and again brought up the issue of my iPod not syncing. As I mentioned before I've attempted to sync using two XP Pro computers with identical music files, different hardware but fully up to date XP Pro, including iTunes. Both failed. Identical music files on two iBooks running OSX (10.3.9) with up to date iTunes synced every time.
Add to this that I went to two different friends with very different music libraries and had problems on their machines as well (both XP machines, one home, one Pro)...neither person had problems with syncing their newer iPods.
At the store the guy did a restore of the iPod (something I've done many times) and he tested some 300 music files with no problem. He restored it again and gave it back to me.
I brought the iPod home and successfully synced 3853 music files with ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS! I don't have any clue what was different when he did the restores, but it worked.
Of note, before anyone asks, everytime I've ever tried a sync on all of my computers or my friends computers, I've always triggered a restore to try to fix the iPod.

  • Getting a "DDE Master Control.vi" error, along with Load Error Code 21

I am attempting to isntall and run the IAEA Nuclear Reactor Simulators on my work machine.
The simulators are a proprietary code packaged in a Labview wrapper, and distributed as Labview EXE files.
I have installed (copied the files off the provided DVD...there is NOT an installer) them in the same location on two machines, both running Win7, one home, one office.  The only difference is the home machine is running Win7 64, and has a "Program Files (x86)" folder, where I installed it instead of "Program Files".
On the home machine, the simulator starts and runs BEAUTIFULLY on the first try.
When attempting to run the EXE on the work machine, the simulators throw:
"An error occured loading VI 'DDE Master Control.vi'
LabVIEW load error code 21: An external subroutine required for execution could not be found."
    A handful of times, then:
"A subVI is not executable.  The full development version of LabView is required to fix the errors."
The simulator then lands on the startup screen but will not initiate.
The home machine has NO labview components installed, not even the Runtime environment, and it works fine.  As you can see, this is becoming quite confounding and frustrating.
I've attempted installing the RTE, VISA, and DAQ on the work machine to no avail.
    Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

  • Error when building App but no error code displayed

When attempting to build an LabVIEW 8.01 App I receive an error message with no error code. The message says the error occured in the top level VI. No suggestions for possible cause.

Was there any further text available if you expanded the Details section of that error message? You might consider opening up CRAD GUI MAIN.vi and doing a force recompile of all the VIs to make sure there aren't any compilation errors present. You can force recompile a VI by holding down Ctrl and pressing the run arrow. You can force recompile a VI and all of its subVIs down the chain by holding down Ctrl+Shift and pressing the run arrow.
Does doing this break the run arrow?
