App error VC003 - iPhone only

Hello,
I have been using the BT sport app successfully for months, on my iPhone (occasionally I use the website with my laptop).
Recently I bought a tablet (Samsung), so I started using the app on the tablet, all good as well!
But in the last couple of weeks, the app doesn't work anymore on my iPhone. It says:
"Error - Sorry,BT Sport is only available in the UK. (VC003)"
which is obviously an error, because I am connected with my home wifi (in the UK, using BT broadband) and I can use the app with my tablet and stream BT sport online with my laptop just fine.
I have already tried:
- to switch on the localization service, general and specific for the app
- to logout and login
- to reboot my iPhone
- to delete and re-install the app
Always the same problem...
Is it a know bug? Any suggestion on how to fix it or workaround?

    I have a Blackberry 8310 and I recently upgraded my OS from 4.2 to 4.5 from the BB site and it did everything fine. Then I went and selected one of the themes I was using on the OS 4.2 and apparently there was some problem with it, maybe because it was not compatible with OS 4.5
    But anyways, after I selected that theme, it gave me this App error 532 and only the option of restart. I keep doing that and nothing is happening .. it keeps coming back to the same screen

    Hi and welcome to the forums! 
    You're not the first person to run into theme problems.  You do need to only use themes written for the OS you are running on your BB.

    I am having the same problem and took the following steps to mitigate it to no avail.
    1. I deleted the Facebook app on the phone and turned off Facebook in the iPhone's system-wide settings.
    2. I re-enabled Facebook in the iPhone's system-wide settings and reinstalled the Facebook app and logged in again. It worked. For about an hour.
    3. I completely restored the phone to a previous backup (before the problems started) and reenabled Facebook .... reinstalled the app.... and now it works intermittenly. But it hasn't worked in about 12 hours now (just tried a few minutes ago).
    Please advise.

    I have successfully uploaded two ipad only apps using the xcent stuff to resign certifs submitted by duty farm and others and I was able to
    UL to store via application loader.  Now I have an iphone only build created with packager and I'm getting the invalid codesign error.
    I have a feeling that its the way flash has created my iphone only app. I notice in the plist for the iphone only app it has NSMainNIBFile ipad entry
    so wonder if that's the problem?  I have the correct distribution certif that matches the bundle ID and have managed to get a number of apps
    in the store already, but they have been either ipad only or ipad/iphone not just an iphone only app
    if anyone has any idea where to go from here

    As of now, you can only esign the documents in Iphone if you have received it through EchoSign.

    I have also noticed all my settings won't stay set, example....I removed the check mark from "third party cookies", the when I close Firefox and reopen the check mark is back, also my tool bar has screwed up....can't reset, been having trouble the up grade.

    If you go to Settings > Notes > Default Account you will see "On My iPhone" as the default account and the only choice if you have not enabled syncing Notes in Settings >iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. If you have enabled syncing you can still select "On My iPhone" as the default account. When you are in the Notes app you won't see any accounts listed if you have not enabled syncing because they are all in the On My iPhone account and that is the only place possible. It is not a folder that you create.

    The headset has to have A2DP capability, which most (I believe) do not.

    I wanted to sync my iphone 4 (cdma).  I have synced it before successfully.  I am getting an error "itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone cannot be determined" and the apps and items follwoing apps in syncing (photos for example) will not sync. Items prior to apps synced (calendar/contacts).  I restarted both my iphone (currently on ios 4.2.8) and my computer, itunes was on 10.6.1, same problem.  I installed itunes 10.6.3, same problem.  I had been waiting to update ios to 5.1.1 and would like to do that now, but wanted to sync first.  Anyone have any ideas?  I am stumped!  Thank you.

    OK, So here's the case on my new iPhone.
    A friend gifted me this app for my iPhone and it worked fine on my friends phone ( he downloaded it as well from my account and I authorized it temporarily so he could install it) but when I just tried to install the app on my iPhone, I kept getting an error, like I said in the title, either "Unable to download application (app name) could not be installed at this time" or on iTunes, I would get the error "unknown error 0xe000008" on iTunes, and the app would be un-launchable. I have tried many times to delete it and reinstall, I've tried tips from other users, disabling and re-enabling wifi, logging out and back in my Apple Store account, just about everything, even a fresh re-sync, does anybody have any ideas what to do, and what may be causing this?? This is seriously starting to frustrating me!

    What model iPod do you have? If yo have a 2G iPod. many developers when they updated their apps to support iOS 5 and 6 dropped compatibility for iOS 4.2.1 and earlier.

  • Error with iPhone app download, now can't find or open app

    I recently tried to download an app on my iPhone 4S.  There was an error with my phone mid-download.  After a restart, the app is nowhere to be found on my phone, but I cannot re-download the app, as the app store thinks it is already on my phone.  When I go to the store to re-download, the "Open" button is present (instead of the "Download" button), but when clicked, nothing happens.  Syncing iPhone to a computer with iTunes also does not solve the problem, as the app doesn't appear in iTunes either.
    I've tried restarting, hard resets, etc. to no avail.  Suggestions?

    Then it tells me to review my payment info, I key it in and it gives me a link that leads me to support and it starts all over again.  I don't know what's going on....all I want is to install a grocery list app to my iphone that's free, I've got a debit/credit card with the mastercard logo on it, could that be the problem.  Do they not accept debit cards?  Can someone please tell me what to do  .....   thanks
