I've installed 11i - 11.5.9 on 2000 Server.
I'm Facing an Error after initialization of applet.
I'm mentioned the exact error bellow.
APP-FND-01516 INVALID APPLICATION USERNAME, PASSWORD, OF DATABASE
Username : APPLSYSPUB
Password : PUB
Database : PROD
Can any one truble shoot my problem.
Even i'm not able to initialized my Database due to this problem.
I have prepared Some Screan Shots, Like Window Services, Applet initializer, and The exact applet which shows the error. if any one of u provide me your's mail Id I can Send.
Please Trouble shoute this problem.

I have installed two instances(test,vision) of oracle financial application 11i.for vision instance,every thing is working properly.for test instance,after logging in using sysadmin/sysadmin in IE5.0,an error comes after the applet has started.i am not able to start the tns80listnerAPP_TEST also.

i couldn't trap the error.

I updated followings as forms was showing error.I get a pop up when I run 11i on OEL5 in Firefox version 3.0.10 & message "No suitable plugins were found. Unknown Plugins (application/x-java-applet:jpi-version=1.4.2_04)"Are you able to access it using IE?
So I installed sun jre-6u13-linux-i586-rpm and updated as follow

#vi appsweb_PROD.cfg
#update to 1.6.13 from 1.4.2_04 at two places
#cd /oracle/prodappl/fnd/11.5.0/resource
#vi appsweb_PROD.cfg
#update to 1.6.13 from 1.4.2_04 at two places
#restart application services and database.
Then the form was opened but gives error "APP-FND-01516:Invalid application username,password, or database"
Database and the database listener are up and running.The right procedure to configure Sun JRE with 11i is outlined in the following document.

any on help me on this....Your database should be up and running (and the database listener) in order to start the application services and access the application. So, if you cannot access the database please check the database log file to find out why the database is not coming up.

What does APP.FND-01238 error mean in oracle apps 11i?

In Oracle Apps 11i after opening person detail screen, It says cannot set value for field PADDV.CREATED_BY and gives APP.FND-01238 error.
Can anybody help me with that?

Was this working before? If yes, any changes have been done recently?--Yes. Nothing to do at this moment. Just After Bounce Apps service.
Can you find any errors in the database log file?-- no error in the alter_log and can login with SQLPLUS successfully.
Did AutoConfig complete successfully?-- I think at this time ,it is no need to do the autoconfig, the service running normal.
Any ideas about my case?

APP-FND-01270: Error generating Julian SYSDATE

We are getting "APP-FND-01270: Error generating Julian SYSDATE" on lots of forms. Metalink note Note:336496.1 says something to do with date synchronization of apps and DB tier but they are not 100% sure.
Anybody encounter this before ? Any idea or suggestion where to look for resolution ?

This is resolved now. I checked with our DBA and he did confirm that he changed the date on UNIX server. He rolled back the date and issue got resolved. Thanks very much for your reply.

Applications 11.0.3:
Transaction을 생성 한 후 Receipt 과 Apply 할 때 다음과 같은 error 가 발생하였다.
APP-FND-00531 Amount Cannot Be Correctly Formatted
The Amount XXX.XXX Could Not Be Formally Formatted.
The Correct Format Is 999.99 And -999.99
Workaround
1. 해당 data 를 bakcup 받아 놓는다.
2. 다음 update script을 수행한다.

잘 못된 data를 rounding 처리하여 저장해준다.

1. If I have only single organization, Do I need to set up multi-org? We will be using AR, AP, and GL modules only.
2. Is there any step-by-step process to set up multi-org?
