App for taking notes on PowerPoint ? Ipad

I'm a college student and I just got an ipad. I always have PowerPoint for class and would like to go paperless with my ipad but I need an app where I can physical write on the power point with a stylus. I like to circle and star things on the power point as well as take a few notes.
Any suggestions for apps out there?

I thought Keynotes was the replacement for Power Point?
Check into this to see what it can do.

  • In Need of a good Notes App for taking Notes in Mathematics.

I am a college student and do everything on my iPad now. I take notes on my iPad, but in math I need to draw my notes. Anyone else take math notes on their iPad 2? What app works best for you? I've bought three different apps and they are difficult to use. I use a stylus to draw math notes as well.
    Please assist.
    Thanks

You can try good notes. I've heard rave reviews about it. Here's a link to the free version to try: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/goodnotes-free-notes-pdf/id483679173?mt=8
Notes Plus has shape recognition and great reviews, but supposedly its performance is sub-par. It also offers a purchase that will allow you to convert your handwriting into searchable text.

  • Why do tiles appear in the video app for videos not on the ipad

On my son's ipad, I pull up the video app and see tiles for every tv show and movie we have on itunes regardless of whether any episode or that movie is loaded to the ipad...why? is there anyway to only show what is actually loaded to the ipad?

You may have purchased some through iTunes. They remain available to you to download again if needed. If you don't want to see them, turn off "Show All Videos" in Settings > Videos

  • Looking for a free app for secure note taking with search feature (unlimited)

    Hi dudes,
As the topic suggests, I'm looking for a free app for secure note taking with search feature without any restriction on the number of notes or any other major restriction. I already use HiDisk (which lacks search feature), and security note+ (which has limitation on the number of notes). I also have used My Disk which its search feature doesn't work correctly (it's buggy).
    Thank you.

One named NotePad is free, saves as .txt files.
Another, WriterRoom, costs $1.99USD, and saves as .txt and .doc files.

  • Im looking for a good note app with pen for taking notes ( in english and german )during business trips. Can anyone help

I'm looking for a good note app with pen function for taking notes ( in English and German ) during business trips. Can anyone help?

Really sorry to hear about this, particularly when you're putting your life on the line. But Apple cannot track your iPhone in any way unless you had set up Find My iPhone prior to it being lifted.
It's possible that AT&T might be able to do something, but it's probably that they cannot track it, or will not without a request from an authorized law enforcement agency, but rather would only disable the device. You'll have to try and find a way to contact AT&T directly and ask if they can do anything to help you; the chances of any AT&T employee in a position to help you spotting this thread it pretty small.
Good luck, stay safe, and come home soon.
    Regards.

  • I'm going to be a senior this year and my school is switching over to the iPad for classroom activities. Which iPad is the best for taking notes, researching, studying, reading, etc?

I'm going to be a senior this year and my school is switching over to the iPad for classroom activities. Which iPad is the best for taking notes, researching, studying, reading, etc?

I Recommend the iPad Mini Retina, it's not to big, and not to small. It has the speed of the iPad Air due to it having the same 64 Bit chips. ( And it's a lot cheaper!!) I have one myself and it's perfect for my school work!

  • Anyone have any idea which is the best application for taking notes and essay writting?

im starting my first year of university and i was wondering what would the best application for taking notes on be? and also whats the easiest, most reliable and effective way to transfer documents off the ipad? Any thoughts on printing aswell?
will be appreciating all the help i can get!

You're going to get as many answers to that question as there are people to answer it. You don't state if you want to take handwritten notes or if you will be typing. For handwritten notes, I really like Noteshelf. It has lots of export options, my favorite being to Evernote (which you might want to look into as well for storage). For typing notes, I'd go with Pages, Documents to Go or QuickOffice. For working with PDFs, I like PDF Expert.
I've recently heard good things about Note Anytime. It is free for a limited time, so it'st probably worth downloading to try out.

  • Best Pen for taking notes on the twist

Hi, I'm curious at what pen can be best used for taking notes on my Twist.  When I use OneNote it won't let me use my finger or the rubber tipped stylus to write with, but instead requires the use of the keyboard, very annoying when in class.  I've been struggling with this for several months now.  I'm unsure what the difference is between a capacitive pen vs a digitizer pen?

Thanks, that's what I've heard from other sites, but I figured other Twist owners may have different opinions.  Have you used any other apps that use the Jot pro?  I'm curious as what apps are available for use with it before I purchase it, which will hopefully be tonight

  • App Store will not load on iPad air 2

my App Store will not load on iPad air 2. It's just a blank white screen

    Hello, Pofolksx4.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I would need clarification on what the exact issue you are experiencing with the App Store to provide a better answer.  However, here are some troubleshooting steps that will help.
Troubleshoot issues on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update(iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

  • How do i find the tablet for taking notes in school

how do i find the tablet for taking notes in school on macbookpro

Tablet?  Do you mean like a notepad or notebook?
TextEdit is included as a part of Mac OS X.  There are plenty of other word processor programs available- Microsoft Word, Apple's Pages, OpenOffice, to name a few

  • App for taking College notes?

What is the best and most perferred app to use for taking college notes? Free/$$

You will most likely get as many different recommendations as you get answers. If it were me, I would actually use a Evernote as my base organizer and then use Penultimate (which syncs directly to Evernote) for handwritten notes, FastEver or Drafts for typed notes and Skitch for PDF annotation. Everything would end up in Evernote where it could be accessed from any device and organized using tags and notebooks. The Evernote app has a build in "page camera" that's specifically designed for taking pictures printed material.
My feeling is that trying to get one app that does everything means nothing gets done very well. I think you'd be better off finding apps that work together but do what they're supposed to do well.

  • App for typing notes and drawing freely?

    Hello,
I am searching for a good iPad app that lets me type notes with the screen keyboard and draw freely anywhere if needed. I have used Pages for typing and now I discovered Paper which is quite nice for drawing. Only if these two could be merged into one.
PaperDesk and Moleskine are the ones I have liked the best so far. PaperDesk lets me zoom for drawing so it might be my favorite so far. I just started using the Jot Pro Stylus for drawing and find it pretty good.
Anyone of you found something even better or liking it so much that you have stopped searching..?

I would suggest using Evernote to type notes and then an app made by Evernote called 'Penultimate' for taking free-hand notes, if you create an account (very simple to do) and sign in on both apps, your handwritten and typed notes will sync into the main Evernote app. Handwritten notes are even searchable in the same way as a typed note through image recognition technology.

  • What's the best app for taking a video on ipad2?

I am a tennis coach and am looking for an app for my iPad2 to do video analysis. I need to be able to video someone doing a serve and then show it to them in slow motion and be able to pause it. What's the best app for this?

Do some research into HTML5 video. Unless the user is using a modern browser with video playback capabilities, they would need to have an app to provide video playback, as well as the codecs for the video file format that you will be serving them. At this point in time, MP4 is the "clear(est)" winner of the online video formats. However not all browsers provide built-in playback. For instance, Firefox currently does not support MP4. Future Firefox builds will rely on whatever video playback the native OS provides. So coming back to your question - no, there's no real way of guaranteeing video playback on the web. You do the best you can and provide links to users where they can download the appropriate codecs and players and call it a day.

  • How do you get deleted data from the app Tote M'Notes back on iPad ????

How do I get deleted data from app Tote M'Notes back???...Not displaying in my notebook anymore...also how do i retrieve data from apps stored in Icloud?

Why don't you use the fully-qualified-domain-name (FQDN) of your GW and perform a re-direct to this ?
This should be known (and everytime the same), addtionally you won't have any problems if there's any load balancer in between or in fron of the GWs.
Secondly you'll have problems to get the IP -address if there's any proxy server involved.
