App I paid for won't download...

I bought an app and I can't download it. It says "You've already purchased this, so it will be downloaded now at no additional charge." And then it just stops downloading and does nothing. How can I fix this?

Had this several times with Big Fish games, two I had to get refunds for but one was solved by closing all open apps, signing out of the app store & reset the phone settings - not reset phone & settings - then turning the phone off, wait 30 seconds then turn it on again. I don't know which of these worked but you could try signing out then in to the app store first.

    You need to punch in the passcode for any purchase right, not just for new apps??
    If one of the other students, or anyone else, got access to your iTunes Store account, necessary to make any purchases, then they'd have all the information they'd need to also make in-app purchases. But an in-app purchase can only be made through the account through which the original app was purchased. Either your son bought the game (free or paid) and then shared it with someone else along with the account information (necessary to authorize the app on someone else's device), or someone else downloaded the game as well, not just made in-app purchases.
    In any case, changing your iTunes Store password should now have cut off any such unauthorized activity, though of course if your son gives the new password out, you'll be back to square one.

    Lion is not in iTunes. It is in the Mac App Store. Be sure to sign in with the same Apple ID so you don't have to pay twice.

    Hi. I forgot some apps I paid for and I don't think I have it backed up in iTunes. How do you display just the apps you paid for? If a query like that is not possible, is there another way to display just your paid apps?
    There're only two buttons on App Store- Free and $x.xx (x is a variable which stands for the amount and currency, so xx.xx for other currencies), I think there should be a third button named Paid so that there's no confusion between Free because it is totally free/Lite version or Free because it was already paid for.     Go into the account settings/management for the iTunes Store and you can view download history.

    I would recommend deleting the affected movie from your iPad, and redownloading the movie.

    Developers control which versions of their app is in the store. If a developer releases a new version and pulls the old version then it will no longer be available in the store.
    If you sync the device that has the older app in ITunes on your computer and choose to transfer purchases,  you will then have your own saved copy of the app. Then, sync the other device and select to install that app from the list of locally saved purchases.

    The desktop is only showing trial versions of the apps.
    When I ask to download an app the words 'downloading' appear on the screen but there is no downloading going on for Premier Pro.
    In Design seems to have downloaded, but now it is showing as a trial version even though I left it downloading all last night and this morning it said it was fully up to date.
    I can't get in to Premier Pro at all! I had a previous trial version of Premier Pro on my Mac that has now run out - could this interfere).
    Extremely frustrated. Hoping there is a simple solution.

    I signed up for Creative Cloud in order to download and use After Effects. After having gone through the whole process, my bill and account show that I am subscribed to use AE but I can find no option for actually downloading AE. It doesn't show up on my apps page, and the "download now" options in both confirmation emails just lead back to that same AE-less app page. Not sure why this is, and getting rather annoyed by it since I've paid for a product that it's not letting me access.

    Which operating system? Could it be Windows 7 32 bit?
