App Install icon missing

Hello, I am missing the INSTALL or BUY icon in many Apps in the Store.
Is there a way to fix it? I have the latest IOS installed on a iPhone 5.

Hi, no I did not switch account. I restarted the App several times, and the iPhone as well, but it did not help.
One of the Apps without button is an App that I discarded some time ago (Tumbler). I keep on getting the Update message (with the little number on the store icon) while the App is not on the phone. I tried to re-install it but there is no button to do that.
The other Apps are randomly appearing without the button. for example, any Free Music streamer is not available fo either buy or for free.

App store icon missing from iPhone display

App store icon is missing from my iPhone display. I don't know how to reintall it. I can't install any apps. I check setting/general/restriction is already off. Please help.

It cannot be deleted. If it's not restricted, it's on another screen or in a folder. If not found, try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout

App World Icon Missing

I've downloaded the BB AppWorld (Version 4.0.0.65) but the icon is not showing up anywhere- neither in Applications (Show All) nor in Downloads.
It is showing in the Application Management (Options) but I'm not able to use it from there.

If you are having issues with the recent version of BlackBerry World then Download version 4.0.0.55 which is the best workaround now available for BlackBerry World also uninstall app world from Options > Device > Application Management > Locate and delete BlackBerry World , then perform another Battery pull restart .
Then From your BlackBerry Browser browse to http://mobileapps.blackberry.com/devicesoftware/entry.do?code=appworld3 to download version 4.0.0.55 . In addition check this Knowledge Base for further help :

My App Store icon missing.reset phone but cant get to restart my iphone. Any advise?

My phone started giving me problem with all my contact details went missing 2 days ago.
Today, App Store icon went missing. I cant add or delete apps at all because when i doucble click, the app will be moving vigorously but the "x" is not there to delete. ive decided to reset my setting with the hope that it will revive back. as i was doing so, i failed to connect to my Itunes account. May i ask if anyone of you experience this? if yes, how do i go about restoring my phone back please.

New iPhone 4 -- App Store Icon Missing - Help!

My friend recently got one today. And shes telling me that the App Store icon is missing.
She already
1) Checked all the pages to make sure it wasent there
2) Its Version 4.0.2
3) Turned the phone off and turned it back on
4) Went into settings and restrictions and its on "On"
Anyone can help? I was gonna tell her to do a restore but then she would have to back up her phone and if she did and backed the restore from the back up that it may bring along the problem again. On the other hand, if she does a simple restore with no back up, shes gonna lose all her contacts.
What should she do?

Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout...see if you see it now.

Some App's Icons Missing

I yesterday installed Snow Leopard and nearly everything is running well. But there is one issue regarding my favorite database application Panorama. The application icon is missing, and it shows a generic application icon, the documents show generic document icons (the empty page). Panorama is a Carbon application running under Rosetta.

I had just read that article and was going to rant a bit, and discovered this thread.
For me it is more that just cosmetics. Part of my workflow includes sorting folders of 100's to thousands of JPGs by kind, so I can select those belonging to Photoshop, to Fireworks, to GraphicConverter or to Preview (default). This way I know what has been done to the photos and which remain to be processed.
Now sorting by Kind in a list view Finder window, lists them all as JPGs. I have been doing it this way for many years and am POed at being forced to change something that works well, by misguided managers at Apple.
The work-around to do a raw search using variations of
(kMDItemContentType == "public.plain-text") && (kMDItemFSCreatorCode == "R*ch")
Is not viable for me.

If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps being set 'off' ?
If not then have you tried a reset to see if you can find it after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Hi .. plz plz plz give me a solution.. i have a bb torch 9800.. i got a app world upgrade msg .. after the upgrade.. i can't find the app world icon.. though it installed on my phone.. the icon is no where to be found. Try this -
When you device is POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery. This make a reboot to your device which resolves minor issues with the BlackBerry device.
If doing above doesn't resolve the issue then follow the be knowledge base articles instruction:

My icon for clock and APP Store are missing. How can I restore them?

I think a family member inadvertently deleted several built in apps. I tried.syncing with I cloud and my PC, but was unable to restore them. I know the clock app and the app store are missing. Do I have to reset to factory defaults or is there some easier way to recover these?

There is no built in clock app on the iPad.
Check Settings>General>Restrictions and if you have restrictions enabled, you may have disabled installing apps and the app store icon will not be present on the iPad.
Swipe from screen to screen to look for it if it isn't restricted.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

App world icon is missing from my Home and Download screens

I upgraded to Blackberry App World version 4.0.0.63 on my Blackberry Bold 9780 yesterday. After re-booting the phone, my App World icon was suddenly missing from my home screen. It was not on my Download screen either. I could also not find it when doing a search for App World. I re-installed App World from the Blackberry website. I still had the same problem. Then a friend suggested that I un-install App World by Settings: Device: Application Management: Blackberry App World - and selecting delete in Options. I did this - and then re-installed App World AGAIN on my phone from the website. And still the problem persists. Do I actually have App World on my phone or not? If I do have it on my phone, how and where do I find the icon - so I can place it on my home screen.
