App is 'ready for sale' but my availability date is set to 2 days from today. Will it be availble in 24 hours?

Hi,
Few minutes back my app status has changed to 'ready for sale'. However when submitting this app I have set a availability date of Monday 23rd June 2014.
Will my app be propagated to itunes servers in next 24 hours and will be available for download by tomorrow. OR
It wil be available on 23rd June  ?
** Its a fresh new app. 1.0v

That would be a really good question to post in the iOS developers forum.

  • App is "Ready for Sale" but still not yet available on the App-Store

Our app has been submitted and approved 3 days ago and its status for the latest build is "Ready For Sale" but still there is an older version available for download on the appstore. Could someone from the apple support let us know what is going on as usually it always used to push to the store whenever status got to Ready for Sale.

That would be a really good question to post in the iOS developers forum.

  • Reject new version while current app is ready for sale

    HI
A simple question, i have an app on the store which is ready for sale and everything seems to be fine. However i had a long process for this app to be approved over severel rounds of rejection, but now it is approved.
The situation is that, i assume i can upload a new version on the same app as upload new version accordingly to the Apple description, now suppose this new version get rejected somehow, would this effect on the "live current" app?
If not then i also assume i can upload this new version and set the the release to be manual?
please let me know your Advice/tips and trick
    thanks

A new version of an app that is rejected has no effect on a currently live app.
The new version only goes into the store if it's approved.
The old version may be available still if you decide to make it available.
See the iTunes Connect docs for details.

  • Ready for Sale but not displayed in all iTunes or Apple Store.

    Hi everybody,
I need some help about a little strange thing that is happening..
My app yesterday night changed into "Ready for Sale": I know it takes about 24 hours to be displayed in iTunes, the App instead was displayed only a few hours later but not everywhere, I mean if I google the App name I find it, but if I search it in the iPad Apple Store (either with its name or with one of the keywords I assigned it) I can't find it. If I search my "developer page" on iTunes I can't see it, but if I search it by following the link "developer page" by the page of my others app it is there any....
In short: sometimes I found it, sometimes not, either in iTunes or in the Apple Store on my iPad..
    What's up????

Is it iPhone-only, iPad-only or Universal?
Give it several hours so that the info can migrate across all servers in the background.

  • Ibooks ready for sale but not appearing in itunes

I have published a number of books through iBooks Author but only two appear in itunes while they all are marked 'ready for sale' in itunes connect. Is there a setting that needs to be changed to correct this?

Clarify,  when you  open iTunes Connect > Manage your Books. Do ALL you books accepted and passed by the review team show there?
"Ready for Sale"   Have you set the  Price and  Territories ?
"A number of books"  if you have  successfully delivered a book, its still possible that the review team will issue a ticket - which needs corrections and this shows in your iTunes Connect with a ticket.
Unless things have changed since I  last uploaded... if your books do not show in the "Manage your Books" section of iTunes Connect,  they were never uploaded. Did you  haveany problems duirng teh  delivery process?
OR    I have published a number of books through iBooks Author but only two appear in itunes
Are you say  that all your books show in iTunes Connect - but only two show as "ready for Sale"
WIth regard showing in iTunes, unless you rank alongside  Steven King et al, or your books a selling really well... finding them in iTunes is not always easy?  You will need to do a search either for teh titel or author name and the categories your  opted for.  OR,  if you  were one of the few to understand  the "Keywords" significance in the Inspector> document tab,  use any  or all of your keywords.

  • I have an app update on my phone through the app store, but i dont have that app and when i hit update it says the item is no longer available for sale,, but i cannot get rid of the little 1 at the corner of the app store app,, how can i get rid of it

i have an app update on my phone through the app store, but i dont have that app and when i hit update it says the item is no longer available for sale,, but i cannot get rid of the little 1 at the corner of the app store app,, how can i get rid of it,, i have iphone 5

You installed a hacked app, originally from the Mac App Store. It contains the receipt for a different app, downloaded using an account that you don't control. You need to identify and remove the hacked app.
Important: The app you need to remove is not necessarily the one named in the App Store notice. For example, if the App Store says you need to update "Twitter," the hacked app may be "Angry Birds" or something else entirely. Don't make any assumptions about which app you're looking for. To find it, you have to carry out a systematic search.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
    kMDItemAppStoreHasReceipt=1
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
In the Finder, press the key combination command-F to open a search window, or select
    File ▹ Find
from the menu bar. In the search window, select
    Search: This Mac
from the row of tokens below the toolbar. Below that is a popup menu initially showing Kind. From that menu, select  Other...
A sheet will drop down. In that sheet, select Raw Query and click OK or press return.
Now there will be a text box to the right of popup menu. Click in that box and paste (command-V).
The search window will show all the App Store products you've installed. Compare those search results with the list of your purchases from the App Store. To see the complete list, you may need to unhide hidden purchases. If any apps were download from the App Store using other Apple ID accounts that you control, sign in to the store under each of those ID's and check the purchases.
At least one of the items listed in the search window is not among your purchases in the App Store. Move each such item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator password. Empty the Trash.
Log out and log back in. Test.

  • Apps no longer found on App Store - despite long been "Ready for Sale"

As discovered yesterday, all our paid apps have been "lost" from the iOS App Store.
    An alert saying:
"Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the US store."
    ...appears instead.
Nowhere are they to be found, either by navigating directly to their urls in a browser, or by searching via iTunes on computer, iPhone or iPad.
Not even when clicking the link from within:
[ my developers account > iTunes Connect > Manage your account > [particular app] > View in app store ]
...will they appear, despite them being marked as "Ready for Sale".
This has been confirmed for the Swedish and US app stores so far, on different computers/locations.
All these apps were approved between mid 2009 and mid 2010, and all have long had (and still have) the status "Ready for Sale" and are distributed worldwide.
At the same time, only our FREE-apps are still to be found on the App Store.
I've submitted a report to their support, but receiving a reply could take a while and in the meantime I'm loosing income.
Does anybody know what's going on?
Is this happening for others, or is it just our apps? Has this happened to others before?
    Thanks.

Yes, apparently all of a sudden my previously active iOS-contract has been placed under "Request Contracts" instead of in "Contracts In Effect".
When there's a change in contracts you'll always get a notification from Apple is my experience, but now nothing.
My iAD and Free-contracts are still in effect, though.
Could it be connection with having just paid the Mac OS X-developer fee? I strictly remember having ADDED this to my existing account, not creating a new one.
So should I request a new contract, with all the hassle of having to send them the w8ben-form etc (taking forever)? Or is it a shorter process since I've been a registered developer for more than 2 years?
Eh, I'll go ahead and click the "Request"-button for the iOS contract. If you have any more input I'll gladly hear it.

  • How long between Ready for Sale and in the App Store?

Yesterday both of my Apps in iTunes Connect had their status changed to "Ready For Sale" around 10am. How long should it be before I see them in the App Store?

I have heard it takes up to 24 hours to show on itunes.
Did you get an email when yours became "ready for sale"?
As of yesterday, mine was in review, but this morning itunes connect is down for me, so who knows what it is now. Just wondering if I need to keep checking, or if they will send me an email when it becomes "ready for sale"

  • The first in-app purchase to app as "ready to sale"

    Hi,
I have one app ready to sale (viewer type multi-issue) and now I did create the in-app purchase to upload a folio as retail issue within it.
I read in Itunes connect guide that the first time I upload the in-app-purchase need to be together the new version of app.
Then, I create the new branded app - viewer type: Multi-issue (not multi-issue with subscription) - and I did the sand box test with ipa. All works well.
But when I try upload the new version app I get this  from application Loader. Please, see the image attached
Please, Could one tell me more about these steps. Is possible start a in-app-purchase to a app as "ready to sale"?
    Thanks a lot

    Hi Felipe,
If I'm understanding correctly, you are trying to get a retail issue approved for an app that is already "Ready for Sale," right?
If so, you should be able to create an in-app purchase, test it on your developer build, and submit it to Apple without updating your app.  The language you are referring to from Apple is intended for those that are sending their app in for the first time.  It is not uncommon to include an in-app purchase at that time, too.
    Hope that helps!
    Steven

  • After secure erase of disk ready for sale of MBP I needed to input my AppleID and password in order to install operating system. is this a problem for the buyer?

I ran a secure erase of the hard disk ready for sale of my MBP 2007 (Snow Leopard). But then I needed to input my AppleID and password in order to download and install an operating system (Yosemite). The screen the showed the Welcome opening as it does for a completely new machine. It is ready for a new owner to register and use his or her own AppleID. Will the fact that the OS was downloaded under my AppleID mean that the new owner will still be able to update it as necessary when the time comes?

You can't sell that computer with an OS newer than 10.6.8 on it(or 10.7.5 if you originally got Lion from a thumbdrive and not the Mac App Store.) Any higher version will be tied to your Apple ID.

  • Why isn't Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 for sale, but Part 2 is?

Why isn't Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 available for sale, but Part 1 is? This makes no sense.

    Jennie,
Items often go on and off sale in the Store, especially items (like Harry Potter movies) whose distribution is being closely managed by the label, in this case Warner Brothers.
It will probably come back on sale, but we don't know when.  If you don't want to wait, you can buy it on DVD.

  • Ready for Sale / Not for Sale

My book has been in ready for sale status on iTunes Connect for a month now—but not for sale in the iBookstore.
I've sent 5 queries via iTunes Connect support as to why my book isn't in the iBookstore with no acknowledgement or response.
    Any suggestions are appreciated.

That's the problem. There is no way that I can find other than through iTunes Connect.
    Thanks anyway.

Right click on your iPad's name in the iTunes app on your computer and choose to transfer purchases. That should transfer anything that you have bought with the App Store app on the iPad to the iTunes app on your computer.
