as above i am searching to an app to trim / cut mp3 track up on my i pod touch, any help, and to join tracks if possible. Any help ?

Is there an app to allow users to enter their name on a shared iPad to track who used it?

We have a pool of iPad 2 devices running iOS 7.0.4 used in a business environment. This pool of shared iPads is distributed and shared between multiple users. I would like better accountability of each iPad as they are being taken/used by employees. Is there an app that will store locally, email, or iMessage who used the iPad? It should prompt for a name or other ID each time they turn on the iPad or after X minutes of inactivity.

We use the AirWatch MDM. It has a multi-user device check in and check out capability which is what you want. One solution for you would be to implement an MDM.

Looking for video inspector app to identify a/v tracks and codecs

Can someone point me in the direction of an APP that will examine video files and identify the video and audio tracks and their codecs and other meta data related info?
Trying to troubleshoot a problem where quicktime player is crashing on playback of certain mp4s.. but oddly it only happens on one of my machines that have the same version of quicktime..

Do I have to use another fitness app in order for the new health app to track my fitness? Or does the health app have its own gps tracking? It's not working for me.

Is there any way for me to keep track of how much i have spent on apps ? i purchase an app or two every other day and i get my bills in my email, but i get them every other day aswell but i dont want to have to look at the 15 different emails i have and add up the tally . i found a way to see purchase history all in one page. i go to itunes, then in the "store" tab i click "view my account" and then click "purchase history" . So now im still wondering is there is an app to do this

The Walkman music playing app is unable to properly play music that doesn't pause between tracks. Which app can convert TWO audio tracks - MXF files to FCPX?

Help help help,
I need to convert TWO audio tracks along with my video files from my Canon XF100 - to edit in FCPX. All the apps I seem to find are only able to convert one audiotrack. I have audio from both microphone and microport, so one is not enough. Furthermore it must be a pro tool, so I don't loose imagequality.
Can anyone help me please?

Thx so much - but its not fcpx, but The converter - fcpx can't read MXF files, so they must be converted - The problem is to find A tool to convert both tracks

Maybe you can pay one of her nurse friends to tell you what she is up to. You could also try getting one of those micro chips that you can put under your pets skin so you always know where they are. And I think there is an app that will track the pet chip. And since you obviously treat your fiancee like property this is a pretty good solution for you. or you can save money and just put a leash around her neck and keep her tied up under your desk at work.
Or you could put secret video cameras all in her house and car so she is always on film.

IPod app in iPhone 4 skips tracks

32 GB iPhone 4 on Verizon. Sometimes, on certain albums and songs, when I click a song to play it the iPod skips the track entirely and moves on the next song. It's usually the first, second or third track on an album, and sometimes all three. It seems pretty random, and when I sync again the problem seems to go away on that album and usually reappears on a different album. It happens on music purchased in iTunes and legal CD ripped into iTunes. I am meticulous about keeping my music info correct (i.e., correct albums, track numbers, artwork, etc.). My comp is a brand new MacBook Pro (lower end) running Snow Leopard. Any suggestions?

I found the problem... it's Zone alarm 9.2.0.91.0000 and Seven SP1...
I desactivated ZA when i would like to sync and miracly... there isn't problem at 1:10-1:14 min.
With the same song, when i activate ZA, the problem appears.
conclusion : When you sync your iphone 4 desactivate ZA.

How to remove clip of static from trimmed vocal track

I've been heavily trimming vocal parts. And at the beginning of the track, there's a blip, or one-second clip, where you can tell I trimmed the part. Is there a way to get rid of/hide this?

Find Friends app keeps saying "location not available" on iOS7?

After I updated my 4S to iOS 7, Find Friends will not actually find the person, it just pops up with "location not availble" everytime. I have tried restoring the phone, logging out then back in, and deleting the app then redownloading it and nothing has helped. The person I am trying to find says everything is working well on their end. Help!

My family has 5 iphone 5s's. Two of my kids and myself just upgraded from iOS6 to iOS7. Now, on my Find Friends app, their locations only say Location Not Available. However my wife and and my other child, still on iOS6, their locations immediately appear.
In talking with my two kids that are on iOS7, I have 100% confirmed that THE FIND FRIENDS APP MUST BE OPEN in order for their location to be found. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Furthermore, my kids will not leave the Find Friends app open because it drains their batteries at an extremely fast rate. This is a new issue for iOS7.
By confirm I mean this. On a hunch I called them when their location said not available, and confirmed that their Find Friends app was closed. I asked them to launch their Find Friends app on their phones. I then checked my Find Friends, and suddenly their locations were visible. I then had them close their Find Friend app, and sure enough, my Find Friends immediately showed their location as Not Available.
THIS BEHAVIOR WAS NEVER PRESENT IN iOS6. NEVER!. I have also 100% confirmed that my wife's phone, beside me as as I type this, has all apps closed, including Find Friends. However her location immediately appears in my Find Friends list.
I certainly hope that Apple will fix this immediately. I bought the five iPhone 5s's over a year ago, almost exclusively because of the Find Friends app, so I could keep track of my kids. Never once did we have trouble with Find Friends. And the app did not consume much battery, even when it was open.

What connectors do I need for my ipad so I can connect it to my apogee duet 2 interface essentially using the ipad as an instrument utilizing a few of the synth and drum machine apps to record tracks into Logic on my Mac?

Ok, so I completely feel like this is a stupid question for those of you already in the know and recording tracks onto your Computers DAW from instrument apps on the iPad and other i devices. I can not seem to find out exactly what connector or unit I need to be able to connect and use my ipad as a instrument to record tracks onto logic. I have an ipad2 that I want to connect to my apogee duet 2 interface which is obviously connected to my Mac. I know Logic comes with plenty of drum and synth options but I still want to be able to use beatmaker, jam up pro and the sunrizer synth apps on some of my tracks. I do have the camera conversion adaptors. So my question is, do I just run from the camera adapter in the ipad into the midi port on my apogee interface? (I'm new to and still learning about midi) Or is there a special 30 pin cable I need to get that runs from the ipad into the XLR or quarter inch in the break out cables on the apogee? I did find one cord out there that plugged into the ipad and had left and right XLR connectors but my duets break out cable only has two inputs each is their own channel. Also , if the cable I need isn't midi and does connect to the breakout cables, do I set it as an instrument or as a mic in the apogee software? Or am I completely way off base and needing something different all together. Any help would be much appreciated!
I have a fare amount of experience when it comes to recording, set up and the flow of standard instruments, using external hardware and plugins. But the last few weeks I spent a lot of time programming some great beats in beatmaker on my ipad and I want to track them into Logic. It seemed like no matter how I worded the questions when researching what I thought was and should be simple to figure it out, it just took me to answers I wasn't looking for. Thank you ahead of time. Like I said I'm just starting to get out of my comfort zone and learn about midi and the more digital side of things. So sorry about any ignorance concerning that side of things.

How do I lock down an iPad from having certain apps removed?

We are a Microsoft-based enterprise that has purchased iPad 2 devices as a means of reducing costs of wireless services as well as integration with the 3G adapter (to reduce damage and theft). While I have had great success with the iPhone Configuration Utility and an MDM server, I need to ensure that users cannot remove the Find My iPad App which we use to track employees and ensure they do not lose or steal the device (since they can't remove the battery).
What can I do to lock down this app from being removed and also, I want to give these employees access to load whatever they wish on these iPad units. We control their access through a VPN to a Microsoft Terminal Server and with Microsoft Exchange but I don't want iTunes and the CEO's credit card being used to purchase apps. Any ideas anyone? I know that this can be done and if not, it will be done by me.

I'm not sure about the apps, but to prevent theft, you'll also need to disable the power button and the ability to restore the ipad. You might also want to superglue in your Sim card because if they remove that, it wont be tracked unless they connect to WiFi.
Also, I'm not so sure it is an app on the iPad. I think it is built into the mail, calendar and contacts options if you have a Mobile me account. http://www.apple.com/ipad/find-my-ipad-setup/
