App keep showing up in update after I have deleted it from ipad
free app GPS Drive Motion X is giving me problems. I cannot delete it from ipad. when I do delete it it soon shows up as an update in the app store a few minutes later . Please help. I have the 3rd generation ipad. I have reset my ipad using the home button and power button and that didn't help either.

No but you can go to the deleted messages just after you delete them and undelete. Once the carrier deletes it from the system you cannot get it back.

How do I remove apps from my app store history after I have deleted them from my iPad?
After trying an app and deciding that is isn't what I want and deleting it, I see that it still shows up when I look at my "purchased" apps in the App Store. I'd like to purge them from my device's history. I don't want them saved or backed up by iTunes, if that could even happen.
Also, App Store on my iPad always shows on its icon that I have more updates than I can find when I go into App Store. For example it may show 2 updates available, but when I go into App Store it says all apps are updated, yet the icon still shows 2 when I return to the home screen. Is this related to the issue above?

BillThere is no way to remove apps from your purchase history. It simply cannot be done. You can HIDE apps from the purchased tab, but you can NEVER delete them.

As for the updates not clearing, try closing the App Store app and reboot your iPad,
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
Why do I keep getting the same emails after I have deleted them.
Since I have updated to the new OS I have been receiving emails that i have deleted from my inbox to only be placed back in it. I thought Apple made the new update to where you view emails from all your devices and if you delete from one device it will do the same to the others or am I miss understanding? The OS will place the email back into my inbox like it was a new email coming through.
You can remove (uninstall) Java Console extension, you do not need them and they can cause problems. The same for the Java Quick Starter.

Have deleted messages from iPad, why showing up on iMac?
OK. This is a tricky one. Mostly doing iMessage on my iPad during the week, and I delete them after the days converstations. When I go onto my iMac on Saturdays at home, iMessage pops up and starts to load all the iMessages from the week. When I delete them from my iPad, doesn't Apple delete them from their servers? This is scary. I have iMessage prefernces set to always be online so I dont have to open the app while on iMac.
Also another side question, when on iMac, new message comes in and it does not get linked to my contacts? Like it says new message from +1 (555)555-5555 and not the Person who is associtated with that number.That is the way messages works in its current status. You have to delete the messages from each individual device. Apple may add a feature to delete from all devices, but at this time it is not possible.

You have to make sure you have that exact number linked to your contacts on the imac. Do you use iCloud contacts? -
Updated apps keep showing on the updates screen.
I updated my iPad to iOS7. It found 9 updates that need to be done. Now they wont clear. They just sit there giving me the option to open them. How do I get the screen to be empty again so I can just see what needs to updated still?
Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)

if there is a problem before the update, then updating will not solved.
If no joy, restore from backup using iTunes.
Lastly, restore as new without the backup. -
I recently upgraded to iOS 5 and now i keep having an old text message that keeps coming back after deleting it, i have tried resetting my settings and closing the messages app to start again, i have yet to try restoring my phone i just want to know if anyone can come up with some alternative, thanks!
Hey I have been having the SAME issue. It is so annoyning. I have the 4S and iOS 5 and I restored it and everything and it is still there. I havent been able to find anything, I think Im just going to go to the Apple store and see if I can get a new one.

Why can't I transfer a song to my iPod Touch after I have deleted it from my iPod?
The song is still in iTunes but won't transfer to my iPod any more. I used to do this weekly - adding songs to use for Story Times and then deleting them. I could always transfer them again. Now I can't. I have only noticed this since the latest update.

Yes, it was a folder from a website. It was a backup of a website (the website was hacked into at one point if that matters). I kept the backups in a folder on my laptop. I was able to delete the other backups, but this one was giving me an issue for some reason. The other day when I was having this issue and you were trying to help me solve it, it was showing that I only had (about) 158 GB of memory left on my computer, but when I was finally able to delete the folder and all of its content it was showing that I had over 250 GB of memory left. I don't understand how a website's backup folder can be that large :S Was that why I was having so much trouble doing anything with it?
I could drag the entire folder into the trash can, but if I tried to empty the trash it would just do what was showing in the picture from my original post

I have apps from old work account that I can't remember the password to. On my personal phone those apps keep showing up but I can't update them because I can't remember the password. How can I delete them and download on my new account?
Tap and hold an app until they all start jiggling and an X appears in the icon's top left corner. One by one tap the X to delete the app. when they are all gone you are free to buy them again with your own account.

Did you try to reset your iPod? The description of what yu did was not clear. To reset:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Next would be to restore the iPod from backup and if problem persists restore to factory defaults/new iPod. -

My Twitter app keeps showing a notification badge on the Twitter app, even when I have no notifications.
I've messed around with the notification settings, removed my account and added it again
And it still has a badge saying I have 4 , 5 or 8 notifications
