App Loading Icon

Hi guys,
I went to the app store on my iphone 3g and chose to install an app, I left it to download and install overnight and went to bed.
When I woke up this morning, there is an icon on the home screen with the name of the app with "Loading" underneath it (progress bar is empty).
It has been like this all morning now (8am - 11:15am) It doesnt look to me like its going to change. is there a way of me removing this or getting it to re-install? I was notusing wifi to download the app.
Thanks,
Chris

you both need to reset your phones and reload the app from the app store. To reset the phone hold down the home button and sleep button at the same time until you see a silver apple. Don't do ANYTHING else until you see a silver apple then retry to download the app again.

  • Apps not appearing in cc menu bar only spinning loading icon

I want to download Dreamweaver but my apps aren't appearing in creative cloud menu only the spinning loading icon.  can't see apps i've downloaded or the ones I've yet to download. when I go to the website it only allows me to download trial version of the apps. What is going on?

First we will try with basic step :
    1)
Close all Adobe app and quit Creative Cloud desktop app.
End all Adobe process like Creative Cloud , CoreSync from Task manager
    2)
Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.
    appdata
    Then navigate to Local>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and rename folder named OOBE .
    3) Disable Anti-Virus and Firewall temporarily .
    4)
1)Open Control Panel and then click on the option "Network and Internet" .
2)Click on Internet options, click on 'Connections' tab.
3)In the 'Connections' tab, select 'LAN' settings, you will be able to view the Local area network settings box.
4)Check the box-"Automatically Detect Settings" and then "uncheck" all the other check boxes like 'Use automatic configuration script', 'Use a proxy server' , Bypass proxy server' ,then click on ok button .
5)Click on "LAN settings" button again , make sure "Automatically Detect Settings" is the only option selected, keep the LAN properties window open.
    5) Launch Creative Cloud app and sign in and try loading Apps list .

  • I just loaded snow leopard but removed the the mac app store icon from the doc and now I can't find it

I am trying to upgrade to Lion. I just loaded the snow leapord onto the computer and accidently removed the new mac app store icon from the dock and now I can't find it. I guess I need it to buy Lion. How do I get it back? It's not in the mac HD apps file. Thanks

Should be in the Applications folder as "App Store", not as "Mac App Store".
Check first in the Applications folder accessible via that named item in the Dock (also accessible at (hard drive) > Applications).
If it's not there, it may be in the Applications folder for your user: (hard drive) > Users > youraccountname > Applications.

  • I have accidently deleted the App store icon off my home page, how do I get it back, do I need to re down load?

I have accidently deleted the App store icon off my home page, how do I get it back do I nave to re download??

Swipe through your screens and swipe to the left of your Home screen. Type in App Store in the search field. It's a permanent pre installed Apple app so it can't be deleted.
If you can't locate it on the iPad for some reason, connect the device to your computer. Right or control click the iPad under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click: Restore from backup

  • 8.1.2 6plus  Facebook stuck on loading icon and blank page

As the title states, once in a week when I open Facebook all that appears is the loading icon and it stays that way. I can't tap the bottom options either (messages, notifications etc.). If I kill the app/restart the phone and re-open facebook, the same loading icon appears. I have to delete and re-install app in order to use normally again. Anyone else experience this? TIA

That happens occasionally with the Facebook App. It's probably due to a problem on (or communicating to) the Facebook servers or just a bug in the App. There's not much that you can do about it until Facebook fixes their problems.

  • Creative Cloud apps loads forever and does not show a list

    Hello.
I am trying to install Photoshop using Creative Cloud, but for some reason when I click the apps tab, it shows a spinning loading icon indicating that it is doing some work, but it never finishes and I am not able to get a list of my programs like I can see on pictures on the Adobe website.
Do you know how I can get it to display my apps? Is there a way to get logs on what is going on? Can I re-download Creative Cloud or is there some other way to fix this? I am not able to use my purchased Photoshop because of this problem.
    Best wishes

  • When I attempt to open iphoto, I get the loading icon in the working space/picture area.  If I try to reinstall ilife '11, will I lose any pictures?  Where, on the hard drive, are all my pictures actually stored?

When I attempt to open iphoto, I get the loading icon in the working space/picture area.  If I try to reinstall ilife '11, will I lose any pictures?  Where, on the hard drive, are all my pictures actually stored?

You won't lose anything because you have a back up, right?
    Most Simple Back Up
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
    Slightly more complex:
Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically. Examples of such apps: Chronosync or DejaVu . But are many others. Search on MacUpdate
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

  • Why is the loading icon staying on?

I have just got the ipad air 2. Its all been backed up from my old ipad 2.
Whenever I go back on the homepage, the loading icon in the top left hand corner is continually on.
    Can anyone advise please?

If you are recovering from an iCloud backup, the files are probably still recovering in the background.
Check if your apps, photos and music are fully recovered.

    Help!!!!

    Hey Rick20K,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
With performing an app load I do suggest performing an enterprise activation if you're having trouble receiving emails.
I honestly perform an enterprise activation after every update.
If the application is still not appearing try re-downloading the application from www.blackberry.com/appworld and once completed, restart the BlackBerry and it should appear on your home screen.

  • Default image loading icon changed

    Hello,
I installed a social app that has hijacked my "image loading" icon.
What I mean is that when I am using ANY app that requires time to download an image, the icon that displays on the screen to indicate that there is a pending image loading has changed and been hijacked by this social app.
I have wiped my ipad to factory defaults and set it up as a new ipad WITHOUT syncing any data. I downloaded an app fresh like dropbox and flickr stacker, and the chat app image remains (Even though the social app has NOT been installed on this fresh wipe) when pending an image download
I'm hoping somone has an idea as how to get rid of this blasted artifact!
    TIA!
    -A

If I remember well, in the Report Attributes, you should select the linked column. At the link image, there are 2 edit images(the default is the big one), but there is one more image which is smaller.
    Hope it helps.

  • Why does the loading icon never go away?

I went to an adult site by accidnet and a pop up appeared. It was blacked out and I exited. Then when I went to facebook the loading icon just kept on spinning. It doesn't stop and it keeps coming back. I went to general settings and deleted my cache, history and cookies but that didn't work. I also tried restarting my phone but nothing. When I go to other web sites its ok but the only site its happening to is Facebook, the app itself is ok. What could be causing this?

Try force quitting the FB app, followed by resetting your phone.  Double-tap the home button to bring up the recents list at the bottom, locate the FB app, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap the minus sign.  Now reset your phone: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release.  If the problem continues, try deleting the FB app (tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap the "x" to delete), then redownload it.
