App manager will not recognize English

When I try to download Application Manager, the menu always appears in Chinese. The preferences panel does not include English as an option. Instead it shows Cyrillic, three Asian scripts, Turkic and what appears to be a transliterated Asian language. I am running Mac OS 10.6.8 on an iMac 2 Intel core 2 duo,
When the Creative Cloud apps page loads, the language preference (highlighted in blue at the foot of the page) shows English.
If I search for updates for any of my CS5 apps, Application Manage appears, yet when I try to download an app from the CC page, whether as a stand alone or via the app, the Asian version pops up with no way to change to English.
I subscribed to CC via telephone - the website wasn't working too well - could this possibley have something to do with it?

Please email me at [email protected] with your Adobe ID email and your PDApp.log file. I will have your issue investigated.
To get the log file open the Terminal application (under Applications > Utilities in Finder). Type this:
cat ~/Library/Logs/PDApp.log > ~/Desktop/PDApp.log
The log file should have been copied to your Desktop.

App manager will not let me install photoshop after I put it in trash and emptied?

When I go to the app manager it says "up to date" for photoshop and won't let me install it again. I have read a bit and found a suggestion to look in utilities to properly uninstall it, but there are no photoshop files in the utilities folder and when i search photoshop nothing comes up on my computer. Another suggestion I read was to completely uninstall everything, but I would really rather not have to go through all my ID Muse, and AI files and upload the ones I want to keep to the cloud. Is there a workaround for this problem at all? When I do click the adobe air uninstall thing it just says it will delete Adobe Muse, photoshop doesn't show up. I wish it wasn't so hard to get the program I'm paying for even though I understand I made a mistake uninstalling it incorrectly.

Thanks Nancy. I followed your advice, but photoshop still does not show up on the cleaner tool. The programs that show up are;
Creative Suite 6 Design Standard
Adobe Muse
Adobe InDesign CS6 Application Base Files
AdobeCreativeCloudDriver
and Adobe Illustrator CS6 Core
Like I said, since I don't want to impact my ID and AI files I'm not sure if Creative Suite 6 is what I want to uninstall or if that would delete ALL my Adobe files? I'll await a reply or start another thread. Thanks

It seems there are mulitple installation instances of Apllication Manager running.
Hereby, either you can quit those extra instances from Activity Monitor on Mac or Task Manager on Windows.
Or you can restart the machine and try to download Creative Cloud from below link.

Desktop Manager will not recognize that my smartphone is connected

My computer does recognize that the phone is connected; I can access it.
I tried using Desktop Manager 6.0 and 5.0.1. I was able to sync only once with 6.0 when I first installed it yesterday. Then, I got an endless "connecting" message, so I uninstalled and reinstalled v. 6.0 twice. I did a clean unistall of all RIM software, and re-installed 6.0. then unistalled it and installed v. 5.0.1.
I get this - all gray

I have changed my Apple ID when I got a new email address and confirmed it. However when I go to my iPad to buy an app my old Apple ID comes up and will not recognize the password. Follow the procedure on the link below to create a bootable Ubuntu CD and follow the steps in Part 3 to 'Try it' to see if this OS will run from the CD without the need to install on your HDD. This will show whether the problem is with Windows or a Hardware problem with the optical drive.

Problems in app world transferring devices:: App world support will not recognize my tour PIN

I recently just changed from a storm to a tour. I downloaded app world on the tour, entered in my paypal information, and had my applications transfered to the new phone. However, my activation numbers for all my apps are incorrect when i try to activate them. I remember some of the activation numbers being the same activation that i used on my storm. I believe this is where the complication may be. However, app world insists that my activation number is correct.
I have tried to contact app world support and it will not recognize my tour PIN number.
When I try to fill out the form, it says : "Please provide a valid Blackberry Smartphone PIN"
My pin number is correct and i have entered it numerous times. Anyone know whats wrong?

Imac4,1 will not recognize the app store

I have an iMac 4,1 and it will not recognize the app store. It did not bother me until i realized that iphoto and the address book were not on the computer. How do i get the computer to recognize the app store so i can download these apps.

Were you running iPhoto 9? If not do you have the disks that came with your iMac? It will have the iPhoto that came with your Mac, iPhoto 5 (06) on a disk similar to one of these:
If you were using a later version of iPhoto you will need the iLife disk it came on or, if it was iPhoto 9, get to the App Store to redownload it. So what version were you using before this happened?
As for the Address book you'll have to reinstal it from the Snow Leopard disk that you used to install Snow Leopard. It will be in the Optional Installs.pkg that's in the Optional Installs folder on the disk:

First, check the caps lock on your PC keyboard. I know this sounds a bit silly, but we've all done it. If it turns out caps lock was on, then just enter all caps on the iPad.
If that's not the problem, try opening Notes and type your password sonyouncan see it. If you're not getting what you expect, try slowing down.
Let me know how that goes, andvI'll try to come up with a few more troubleshooting options.

HP 6100 will not recognize paper in load tray

hp 6100 printer will not recognize that it has paper in the load tray. have tried from two computers same result...add paper then try again. Tried troubleshooting with HP app and was informed printer was low or out of paper. Printer viewer does not give the add paper prompt but all other apps do. Have restarted printer...no go.

Hold down the Windows Key and press R. Into the Run Box type compmgmt.msc and hit enter. Click Disk Management in the left pane and let the drives load up.

TRIED EVERYTHING!!! computer will not recognize IPOD and no charging

Tried changing cords; tried reinstalling all software; tried to determine if conflicting software; ran ipod out of power and my computer still will not recognize when I plug it in. Backlight initially lights up but ipod does not show up in device manager, itunes does not recognize it and ipod will not charge---ipod will charge on Bose speaker platform though....ANY SUGGESTIONS??????

My iTunes will not recognize my iPod Touch or iPhone 4, Windows 8 does though.

Anyone out there having the same issue? iTunes will not recognize it no matter what I do. I have followed all the advice about resetting it and redownloading iTunes, restarting the apple mobile device from the command center. I don't know what else to do but something has to be done. Also, it will not recognixe my phine either but it says that it needs drivers for that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm using a Mac desktop and it/my itunes will not recognize my ipod touch. I have resent my ipod and have also done all the suggested things on the apple website and still it is not being recognized, I do not know what else I can do. My macbook will recognize my ipod touch but I don't want to sync it to that itunes since it is already out of date, I want to sync it to my desktop mac where I already have the latest version of itunes, and all the music I want to sync onto my ipod touch.
