App problems to connect
Hello,
I live in Brazil and I have a Nokia X6.
I have internet in my phone and I am able to browse and make downloads.
However, I am unable to login in some applications, such as Skype, Fring or Facebook Chat. In these applications the phone does not connect to internet.
I made a search in Google about my problem and I found some similar cases. But no one was able to fix it. From what I searched, I believe it is a problem with the configuration of access point or something related.
Could you please help me?

I live in Nigeria.
I have internet activated on my Nokia C6-00 phone and I have updated to the latest software for my phone; via Software update application in my phone.
However I was making use of my facebook homescreen application and I touched something and it brought out a set of facebook version numbers, and I clicked on it; and since after then my facebook homescreen, doesn't show any facebook updates and cant even make use of facebook via the homescreen. My facebook homescreen is completely blank/ white in colour and nothing is displayed. Though other homescreen applications are working perfectly; such as ovi mail, yahoo mail, etc.
Please how can I solve this issue on my facebook homescreen? Please help me.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them. -

First, try a reset: hold down the home button along with the power button until you see the Apple, then let go.

Try this:
1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo. -
Has the IOS update on my Ipod caused the Apple TV Remote App to have connection problems?
I recently updated the software on my IPod Touch and now the Apple TV Remote App won't connect to the Apple TV. Home Sharing is turned on for both my computer and Ipod. ITunes and the IPod have both been updated. Is there an issue with the new software?

My iPhone 5 won't let me use my apps until I connect them with iTunes after downloading ios7. There's just a thing that pops up and says that in order to activate banners and push notifications I have to connect the app with iTunes. The thing won't go away no matter how many times I push ok, and it doesn't give me another option. Solutions?
Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

I have a problem.
I bought Pages and Numbers for my iMac and so far everything was OK.
Suddenly i have a problem with connection to iCloud.
Dokuments created on iMac in Pages or Numbers are not transfered to iCloud. Not uploaded to iCloud. There is a sign (small shape of iCloud), that they are waiting to be uploaded to iCloud.
I think the iCloud is OK.
i can see and manage documents in iCloud. i can create them on iPad and see them and delete them in iCloud.
But not on iMac.
i dont know what has happened and I am not abble to find the solution. It was OK till some days ago….I have a similar problem! Everything stopped working after upgrading to Mac OS 10.8.4 through the App Store. Help!

Can't get Apple Remote App to stay connected to my ITunes library.
I recently had my modem and router taken out by lightening. So I replaced them both with what is supposed to be the latest and greatest. Simultaneously, Apple had a new version of ITunes, so I updated. Now I can't get the Apple remote app to stay connected to ITunes. If I start ITunes on my computer, my IPhone 5 will see and connect to the library, as well as my IPad. But as soon as my IPhone or IPad goes to sleep and I try to reconnect to the library, it can't connect to the library. I've never had any connection problems before and not sure what is causing the problem. I can turn off Home Sharing in ITunes and turn it back on again, or restart ITunes and it works, but as soon as the IPhone or IPad goes to sleep, it won't reconnect again. Is this a router issue or ITunes Home Sharing issue? Any input to resolve this will be greatly appreciated..............because it is really annoying not to be able to control music the way I did before! All products have the latest updates.
Take it back and exchange it.
If the remote doesn't work out of the box new then either remote is faulty or AppleTV is faulty (eg IR sensor not located properly in the case).
Either way one of them isn't working, exchange it. -

Depending on the size of the app or the connection speed when using Wi-Fi it could take a little longer to download. You can also try to download it onto your computer, might be faster, and sync it to the phone after that.

Windows 8.1 apps don't connect to Wi-Fi
I have a Windows 8.1 64-bit laptop and a few days ago i ran into an issue.None of my apps on the start screen connect to the internet even though the internet is connected and i'm able to browse the net.I'm not sure but i think this happened right after i uninstalled Kaspersky Internet Security.I looked around and thought it's a firewall problem but nothing is blocked in the firewall.I tried restoring default settings in firewall and performing a System Restore.I even tried re-installing Kaspersky but that didn't work.I also tried installing third party firewall software like Comodo but that didn't help either.I ran scans with Kaspersky and Malwarebtytes but they didn't find anything.
I downloaded a microsoft troubleshooter and it said i needed to trust my PC and that apps and start screen sync was turned off.
But i can't change any sync setting since it says that OneDrive is not connected to the internetHI @Hallucinogen-X ,
I grasp that you have Windows 8.1 and a few days ago the start apps no longer connect to the internet.
You ran the troubleshooter and were informed that you need to trust my PC and that apps and start screen sync was turned off .
When you tried to change your sync settings you got the message not connected to OneDrive.
Here is a link to Sync settings between PCs with OneDrive, please note the section on Choose which settings to sync as it does list a troubleshooter that will try to automatically fix the syncing settings.
Here is another link from the www.eightforums.com that should assist you in overcoming this difficulty.
Sync Your Settings - Turn On or Off in Windows 8 You may need to turn the setting on and off a couple of times as that seemed to work for other people.
If this has not helped, I suggest you try a Refresh Your PC to Resolve Problems (Windows 8).
This will reinstall the OS but should not affect your personal files. I do suggest doing a backup first just in case.

Tried to use my apple id to update some apps and got"Connection Manager::invoke:: Failed to find service connection url" After this occured a few times I reset the id password, and this was confirmed by email. It still fails with same message. Ideas?

Problems using connection pooling
I'm having problems configuring connection pooling in oc4j. Have specified my datasource/connection pool in my data-sources.xml. I always get the following error when I try to access it with an instance of OracleConnectionPoolDataSource within my apps. The app server dosen't seem to create the connections when started 'cos its not displayed within Oracle dba studio. Can anyone tell what I need to do pls.
